Great location, beautiful sunsets, enjoyed watching the fish off the lanai every morning. We walked into town for dinners and to shop and quickly accessed all the major roads to get us most anywhere. Things to keep in mind- with no AC it does get very warm in the summer months. The ocean is very close with waves crashing, so it does get loud. Despite those two things we really enjoyed our stay.
Every night we were treated to a spectacular sunset from the wrap-around lanai on every level! The master suite on the 3rd floor was humongous, and the other 3 rooms were big enough for each couple, luggage, and gifts! We stayed in July and the no AC warning is there for a reason, but there are (extra) fans for every room. We did have a small issue with excessive gnat flies due to needing to use the screen doors for air flow, but they were harmless. We had everything we needed for kitchen use- pots, pans, dishes, soap, etc. There is some shopping about a mile walk in either direction which was really nice and it is a quick drive to the "downtown" area. There are a couple of beaches close by (our young teens really enjoyed Magic Sands Beach) and there were Tommy Bahama chairs and beach towels for our use. This is an amazing place for a family or group of people to stay and really enjoy the Kona area!

Overall a great place to stay and cheaper than multiple hotel rooms.Only two minor complaints:Parking is tight but manageable so long as you only have 1 vehicle.Waves can be loud. Great to sleep to, but a bit loud when sitting around the table playing cards. ;)
We had our family of 7 stay for 12 days, The location is fantastic! The ocean is just right out your door. The views amazing. The house has everything you need. Igor our host was awesome. He was very helpful and quick in correspondence. The lack of air conditioning was something that we wished would have been different otherwise we really enjoyed this house.

The property contact person was WONDERFUL!! A water view was visible by all rooms and the sounds of the waves helped me get the best sleep! Parking is tricky but definitely manageable!
You couldn’t ask for a better location than this. Right on the water and convenient to restaurants and shopping in Kailua-Kona. We were also very pleased with the host’s fast communication.

Amazing house! Ocean view from every bedroom and the entire downstairs living area. The house was spotless. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Convenient location - not in the crowded part of town, but close to all the stores, restaurants, and activities. Igor was responsive and helpful. Check-in instructions made access to the property a breeze. Do not pass this place up!
This home is magical! We brought our entire family here for Christmas and had a most wonderful time. The adults could watch the sunset on the upper lanai while the grandboys frolicked in the master tub. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and baking. I hope we have the chance to stay here again.
