This is a great unit for a family. My kids loved the pool and slides. The sand bottom pool was a big hit with the kids. The east side of Kaua’i is a great spot for a lot of good food and activities. Princeville and Poipu are only 25-30 mins away. The beds and living room are comfortable and the beach gear is perfect for exploring the island. This unit has AC as well which is a must for my family. 10/10

Great property, great communication with the host, easy logistics.

Great space with many amenities both in the condo and throughout the resort. Pool was wonderful and being just steps from a lovely beach could not be beat!

Location, amenities and comfy

This is our fifth stay at Waipouli, this unit is very nice. Included boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrella and coolers, everything we needed for full days at the beach. The resort is so beautiful, we had a great time. Wonderful communication from host, would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our time and Priscilla was lovely to work with! I stayed there with my elderly parents and my adult daughter and younger son. It was both relaxing and there were tons of things to do so we found the perfect harmonious blend of activity and relaxation. The property was very clean which I really appreciated and everyone enjoyed the space and the proximity to the beach and the other activities around town. The mattress on the pullout couch was perhaps ready for new life and that’s the only reason I gave it a four out of five stars, as it was a little bit uncomfortable to sleep on, but other than that, everything else was really wonderful! We loved it so much and highly recommend it! Thank you Priscilla!

Had a great time in the condo. Would easily stay here again. My only complaint is that the sofa bed mattress is pretty uncomfortable. Luckily we brought an air mattress as a backup.

I loved that the condo is basically two entire hotel rooms separated by a kitchen and living space.

The checkin and check out was flawless. Unit was spacious and very clean. The host went over and beyond to accommodate us. Good location on the middle of the island. Beach not good for swimming.

The property was fantastic! We had a great stay. Super comfortable beds, quiet condo (didnt hear any neighbors, no pool noise, etc), fully equipt kitchen, lots of space for the family, nice pool, and steps to the beathabks for a great trip! ch. Priscilla was great at communicating and giving us all of the details for our stay.

This was a great place for a family as we explored the island. The pool was a blast and its closeness to the ocean was perfect as well. I highly recommend

The condo was very clean and well-equipped. We appreciated the life vests that were in the unit. We all had a great time at the beautiful pools and loved watching the sunrise at the beach.

My family (Husband, 1 Year Old, and grandparents) had an amazing time in this condo. It was well stocked with everything we needed (kitchen supplies, port-a-crib, and high chair). Everything was very well maintained and cleaned. The resort was beautiful with a wonderful kid friendly pool. It is also walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants. We would love to stay again.

The property was well described, such that we knew exactly what to expect and it was delivered. The condo unit was well appointed and supplied with some basics (soap, TP, etc) and was very clean! The grounds and pool area are wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, BBQ grill, and onsite bar/restaurant. The location was perfect in that it was easy to get to the north or south shores. Safeway and Coconut Marketplace were very convenient. The younger generation rented bikes near the condo and road quite a way north on the ocean side bike path, stopping at a couple nice beaches along the way. They had a blast. Priscilla was exceptionally easy to communicate with. She responded very quickly to a couple requests and was warm and accommodating. The spirit of Aloha!! Thank you - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful clean condo in a great location. Safeway and Starbucks across the street. Many good restaurants nearby. Try Duke’s Barefoot bar in Lihue for a treat. We really enjoyed the Kanikapila event in Anaina Hou park about 30 minutes away.

Traveling with 3 generations, our check-in day was less than predictable but our host was wonderful - Priscilla had it ready early and she was very responsive when we had a little trouble locating things in the home. The home is perfect with a great location, lots of space, multiple restrooms, fast WiFi, and all the amenities you may need for a large family. The views are great, a grocery store across the street, and swim/surf friendly beaches a bike ride away. Only regret was we didn’t have more time to explore the resort pools but we’ll be back.

Condo is nicely maintained.

This is an incredible location with a ton of amenities on the ocean. You get what you pay for with this location, which is fully furnished with everything you need at home to cook and live peacefully. Comfortable beds, peaceful property with pool, water slides, nice gym, walking paths, and within walking distance to many of the sights. The property owner is incredible and communicates so well before, during, and after your stay. Zero complaints or recommendations for this property. 5 star location

This condo absolutely amazed us! Spacious living area, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms! Priscilla was extremely prompt with her communications and a very conscientious host. The location was perfect for us to hit all areas of the island and has great shops and restaurants so close by. By far the highlight is the pool, the whole family from the 9 year old to the 78 year old loved the pools slides!

Absolutely amazing vacation property! We could not be happier with the overall experience, the host was extremely accommodating allowing us to even have a late checkout which really helped with our late flight out. We definitely hope to return soon!

The condo was just perfect! Has fancier appliances than I do at home (Sub Zero refrigerator, Wolf stove). I had noticed another review with a slightly negative comment about washer/dryer. Guessing these have been upgraded because they were spotless and quite possibly brand new. Check in flawless. Beach was super close—just a quick walk from the condo and very quiet/peaceful—only a few people at any give time (Early December, 2024). We always managed to find our favorite spot under our favorite tree. We didn’t bring younger kids but it you do, the pool/lazy river/slide area would be amazing! I usually set low expectations for hotel and resort pools —usually too crowded or not sparkling or too cold—this one exceeded expectations. Lots of adults enjoying pool and hot tub too, with lounge chairs clean and readily available. Not sure if it’s because we were just there off-season but condo super quiet Only thing I would have loved a bit more was ann ocean view from the lanai, but I knew what direction the condo faced (mountain) when I booked, so this definitely isn’t a negative for this place—just pointing it out if that’s important to you. Plus side of condo’s orientation is the balcony is very comfortable all day long, even in the full-sun of mid day you can get relaxing outside shade—and the beach is only a few steps away. Absolutely would stay again! .

We all loved the property, location, amenities. Shopping, beach, sunrise, pool, dining all within walking distance. Many excursions such as luau, tubing adventure, helicopter tour within a 30 minute travel time. Definitely a place we would love to return to. Owners are very responsive to questions and needs. We had reached out to them during our stay and they handled all questions promptly. An amazing family vacation.

Due to damage at our home from Hurricane Helene we were unable to visit Kauai as we had planned. Priscilla was so kind and understanding and completely refunded our trip. We could not be more thankful since expenses are rising due to the repairs that will need to be made. The property was perfect for our family of 5. The resort is beautiful and the pool is amazing! The resort never felt busy or crowded. My kids loved the pool. There was plenty of lounge chairs and they are very nice and comfortable! The condo itself was great. The beds are very comfortable. The condo was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook easy meals. The beach gear available was a great bonus! We would absolutely stay here again next visit. Everything was as described and communication with Priscilla was seamless. We especially enjoyed the beach equipment and my kids learned to play Skipbo and Yahtzee (provided board games). Excellent rental.

Nice condo, great for our family of 6 (kids ages 17, 15, 13 & 8). We used the couch bed the whole time too. Only 2 showers even though it’s listed as 3 bathrooms. 2 tubs total. Not a ton of big(ger) cooking pots. Wish there were more. Also wish there was a K Pod coffee machine to make it for easy coffee in the morning. Overall wonderful stay, wonderful location and resort. Would stay here again!

Our stay was wonderful! The condo was so comfortable, very clean, and everything we could have needed! Loaded with beach toys, umbrellas, and coolers! Loved our stay and would love to stay again!

We had a wonderful visit. We really liked the complex and grounds. The unit we stayed in was even better in person. It worked perfectly for our family. The development is in a great location, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Also just a short walk to the beach. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We were two couples in our 50’s traveling together for the first time. The condo was spacious and had plenty of room for the four of us. We had everything we needed for preparing meals. The hosts even provided a frozen ice pack and a cooler. That along with the three beach chairs and the umbrella made for quick easy beach days. The unit does show some wear and tear, but was very clean. The location is pretty central, and made it easy to get to sites on the North and the South of the Island. We visited Hanalei two days as well as going to Poipu twice. We also went East, taking a Na Pali Coast tour from the Port Allen Marina and a visit to Waimea Canyon. The pool is great with the slides and the pool cushions are top notch. The water was too rough to get into while we were there, but was very pretty. The only thing I can think of that could be improved on is the lighting in the master bedroom. There is only the one lamp, and it’s very hard to see in there. You can open the curtains, but if others are on the lanai, you might want to be fully dressed. 😀 We had a great stay and would stay here again. Mahalo for sharing your home Priscilla! Tricia

We loved our stay. Everything was clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The teens enjoyed the water slides and pool. Beds were very comfortable and 3 bathrooms made the stay very enjoyable with a big family. Pool toys, boogie boards, ice chest and all the essentials for a beach day were available in the unit. Mom and dad enjoyed daily morning coffee on the lanai. Thanks for sharing your property with us. We look forward to returning. Mahalo!

We so enjoyed this condo. There were 5 in our family and we had plenty of room. The pool, hot tubs and waterslide were fantastic. Loved the location. Walking distance to Safeway, ABC Store, McDonald's and drug store. We had everything we needed and wanted here. Loved it!

We had a wonderful time with plenty of pool and beach time being so close. The restaurants and grocery store were close. The condominium was perfectly located for all of the activities. Richard quickly responded to any concerns we encountered.

Loved our stay in this condo.. Beautiful and clean

Beautiful grounds, pools (pretty cold, only one of the four of us could go in at all), waterfalls (gorgeous) hot tubs (wonderful), outdoor furniture (first class). Elevators (not all buildings have them?). Restaurant (staff very friendly, food and drink (tasty but pupus weren't traditional enough). Gate security system (a bit confusing for us old codgers). Fire alarms worked but were so loud my hearing aids burned up. We were confused about whether our unit faced the pool but we grew to love our view of the sunrise upon the mountain. We didn't understand at first that the air conditioning only worked when the sliding glass doors were closed. It worked out fine as we wanted to acclimate to the outside temperature asap. Got to love the rooster alarm clock and the cooing of the doves. We miss the chickens already.

Property was nice however the pool lounges were worn out and needed pad repair. One hottub seemed to not be working. No elevator in our respective building. Not a huge deal but would have been nice to know. Our room was great except that our washing machine had mold and was very rusted.

This location is absolutely perfect! The passenger unit was beautiful and well equipped with everything you could need! The pool was so much fun for the kids! We loved it, and would love to stay here again!

Overall, a very pleasent stay. These condo's are well appointed, with comfortable beds, and a great kitchen for cooking in to save on meal expenses. The pool and hottubs are great for unwinding at the end of the day, and the beach is beautiful and amazing to walk in the mornings. The host was quick with communication and helped answer all of our questions quickly and accurately. Couple little cleaning issues in the condo upon arrival, but they were honestly pretty minor. Overall, this was a 5 star experience and we would absolutely recommend this host and condo for other families looking for great local accomodations and a fantastic jumping off spot for either north shore or south shore adventures. Absolutely beautiful condo! We were so impressed! Super clean and perfect location. Beds were super comfortable! We realized when we pulled in that we had stayed there for our honeymoon (it was called the outrigger maybe?) right years ago! The complex is gorgeous and lots of fun pools and hot tubs for kids and adults! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We have been visiting Kauai since 1999, but this is the first time we stayed in a Condo in Kapa' a instead of at the old Courtyard/Now Sheraton Hotel and we had a wonderful stay. The condo, furnishings and the water equipment/toys for families with children to play with were excellent. The complex facilities themselves including the massive pool and waterslides were well maintained and spotless throughout our visit. There is a Safeway, Starbucks and numerous other restaurants within a short 5 minute walking distance of the property. While on the property, the current restaurant appeared to be under construction and we were unable to eat there. FYI, a number of good restaurants closed during the BUG, but many new ones are now open or have planned expansions and will be opening soon in Kauai. Mahalo!!

It is very conveniently located with family friendly facilitues. The apartment was fully equipped and very thoughtful host who provided essentials that enabled a very enjoyable family holiday for us. A very big thank you!

Great location and a very convenient floor plan for staying with friends. The condo is super close to everything in Kapaa, we could walk to food trucks and restaurants and a quick drive to other areas. Pool are and hot tubs were nice and not over crowded during our stay.

The stay at the property was excellent. A big open lobby welcomes you. Parking is easy. The pool area and lazy river and spa are wonderful to use. The walk to the beach outside your door was better than expected. It is centrally located for taking trips around the island. Love the convenience of the grocery store across the street. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The kitchen fully stocked with things you need for cooking. Having the laundry facilities in the unit was super helpful. Our owner was very responsive to our questions. We had no problems and loved our stay immensely!

We have stayed at this Waipouli many times. First time using vrbo and in this building. We were missing a few items in our unit . The hosts were super responsive, friendly and helpful. Would recommend staying here .

Overall, a fantastic experience at this condo! The lazy river and hot tubs are a great amenity, and the east side of Kauai is a good "centralized" location for access to all the other interesting parts of the island. The condo was great overall, though cooking utensils could be improved (we bought a set of pans because there was no good pan for frying an egg).

This was a fantastic condo. Far exceeded our expectations. Very clean and well equipped. The resort was beautiful. The hosts were always available to answer any questions. We are already planning our next trip to this beautiful resort!
