1BR condo w/ lanai & pool access

This property is very functional but nothing about it is luxurious. Pros: Location was truly wonderful, easy walking to Waikīkī beach, shopping and lots of yummy eating. Parking garage was wonderful, never had issue finding a spot even when getting in late. I would suggest renting a smaller/compact car for easier maneuvering within the garage. Sound, once inside of the unit it is very quiet. The beds are very comfortable. Decent mountain view. Beach chairs and umbrella provided. Heated pool was great in the evenings. Laundry on each floor. Cons: Unit is extremely dated and worn. Examples; carpet throughout is dirty, ripped away from thresholds and snagged throughout. Drapes are dirty, missing hooks and do not close properly. The bathroom mirror needed replaced badly. The vanity laminate was pulled away and sticking up on the drawers. The couch had large stains and along with the rest of the furniture in the unit (excluded king bed) was very dated and well used. This property had a lot of potential but needs some investment put into it.

Had a great time

Room was great! Nice location only 1.5 blocks from the beach (3 min walk). Plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, rentals nearby with a good view of the mountains and a partial of Diamond Head which, in my opinion, is better than a beach view. Plenty of utensils for cooking and eating with 5 BBQ grills that were cleaned daily. I never saw anyone waiting. It even had a rice cooker and a blender. Far enough away from the highway to not hear it but easy enough to get to.

Yes the location was great walking distance to everything.Apartment was clean and sufficiently stocked with everything we needed

Unit came exactly as advertised. Great location and everything worked. Would stay here again!

The units are very dated. The carpet was really badly stained and so was the furniture cushions. The carpet was loose where it connects from the living room to the kitchen and torn up. Very disappointing. Did not want to sit on the furniture.

The room was clean but it was in very worn condition- peeling cabinetry, worn furniture and carpet; the customer service was amazing and very responsive to our questions and the location was great

The apartment badly needs updating the water system is not always hot the swimming pool was not heated The air conditioning and water heater system needs to be overalled My husband has suffered from a terrible chest infection had to take antibiotics the whole time we were here as you can tell by the pictures the air system is filthy

It was wonderful. I do recommend it, if giving the change will do again.

Lots of room, convenient location and easy access

Good location to beach, shopping, and activities. Kitchen has everything you need for a short stay. Views of the mountains, Ala Wai, and partial of Diamond Head. No ocean view or sounds of the ocean...just the AC on a neighboring complex. Overall...ok and comfortable.

Wanted to review in more detail, but can't due to size limitation, so: Check-in/out was ok, worked, but clunky (hint- have security give out/collect parking passes and fobs) 7/10 Hallway to unit - disgusting 3/10 Unit - excellent, 9.5/10. Carpet somewhat past replacement date, but everything spotlessly clean. Great mattress/pillows, excellent AC, balcony with seating, lots of supplies/amenities. I'd like to stress that the following is NOT in any way VRBO's or the owner's direct fault, but it is relevant.... We were evacuated from the apt. around 4PM of our 2nd day there, by the police, along with everyone else from the 16th, 17th and 18th floors. There was an incident with a resident 1 floor above us. A mentally unwell man, apparently known to police, allegedly assaulted one of the staff, may have intentionally spilled some "chemicals" into other units and/or dumped them off his balcony, was brandishing a knife. Took the police till 3AM to resolve the situation. By 1AM (having been "on the street" for 9 hrs or so and completely exhausted) we got ourselves a room elsewhere (at our own expense). We returned to our VRBO unit the next morning. We feel the building is a bit mis-represented, as to how upscale it is (isn't). More than a few sketchy-seeming people in the hallways/elevators. We weren't totally comfortable. This corner of Waikiki is kind of on the fringe. A far cry from the other, nicer end of Waikiki where we spent our night "out".

Nice condo, clean and comfortable. Parking included which can be very expensive. Only issue was construction which caused the power and water to be shut off multiple times. Had to sit in the lobby one evening for 1/2 an hour until the elevators were turned on again.

Midway Reality is superior in managing this property. I would highly recommend staying in their managed properties!

The place is same as described and it’s located two blocks from the beach. It’s easy to go around and we feel safe walking back home at night. One thing tho, I wish we have more beach towels since we only have one each for the whole trip and the laundry takes a while. Everything else was great.

The positives: spacious, well laid out, great view, can access the balcony two ways; Opportunities for improvements: NO toaster as listed, no pot holders to cook with, bare minimum at best; two beach towels; shower barely puts out any water, no drying rack, no extra beach accessories, toys -- It didn't say it had these things but for the price. This is my fourth trip to Hawaii and this is at best basic. Towels are rough, toilet paper is the super cheap brand, bathroom vent doesn't work for those times when you need it to work! Couch is super uncomfortable to sit on, When relaxing we often just laid in the bed because of the couch. The bed was great!!! I think for the price you can find a place that gives you the 'extras' at no charge. The management company was super helpful and communicative, but again when you look on VRBO you can find something better for the price. If you are going to provide basics then the price should reflect that.

This was my first time visiting Honolulu and we enjoyed our stay. The condo was awesome, everything was great from beginning to end. We had a great view of the Diamond Head as well and the mountains and we were able to take in the awesomeness of the beautiful sunrise every morning. The condo was fully furnished with everything needed for cooking and the grill in the pool area was an added bonus for grilling on several nights after a long day at the beach and sight seeing. Overall a great stay and close proximity to the beach, great restaurants and and anything you wanted to do like shopping:) we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time on our stay! Check in was easy, the place was nice and clean and very conveniently located to access beaches and restaurants!
