Close to Beach, Gorgeous views & Pool - Sleeps 4 Adults & 2 kids

The ONLY reason this listing got 1 star from us- LOCATION. Check-in at the front desk was a breeze, but that’s where the ease of vacation begin and ended…Upon getting checked in at the front desk desk at 8:00pm, we went to our floor & attempted to enter the unit with the code given to me by the host via a message on Vrbo. After the first 2 times it was incorrect, I called the host 2x & then sent a message to the host. After about 10 minutes with no reply or returned call, I reached out to Vrbo directly. The representative reached out to “one of the numbers” they had listed, & spoke to “Nate” who informed her to give me his number & have me call him directly. I did so twice with no answer. I called Vrbo back, & another representative reached out, with no answer, & left voicemails. At that time, a man named “Tim” called me directly & said he was with a realty company & asked me to confirm which rental I was at (a confusing question when you didn’t rent from the hotel directly & don’t actually know the name of where you are?). He was then rude as hell, yelling at my family & I, “don’t touch the buttons! I’m trying to reset it!”, while he was hearing the elevator beeping, not us pushing any buttons. The kicker is this unit was to be ready “for my arrival” at 3pm, with the A/C on, & the room was too hot to fall asleep until we opened the balcony doors, & that’s how we slept. The unit is also severely in need of updates, & is much smaller than the pictures present!

Apt was very out dated, curtains deteriorating full of holes, shampoo dispenser had leaked all in the tub. Beds had stains and pullout sofa-bed was the worse all worn out with a big dip in middle. One pillow had big stain possibly blood, others stained as well queen bed had a leg not attached so very wobbly. Linens and blankets for 6 people was limited. Very small air conditioner unable to keep room cool until sun went down. If bringing small children check drawers for knives. Not noted anywhere in post that parking garage has 6’ heights restriction so was unable to park in it. Batteries dead in ceiling fan and satellite remotes. The Condotel staff though they have nothing to do with the room, they are very friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible, giving me tips where I might find parking. The pool and hot tub on the roof was nice. Property manager did asked what he could do to make up things to us but never any viable solutions, but after my last suggestion for a simple thing to makes us at least feel better as in a late check out and maybe refund cleaning fee he quit responding. Would attach photos if I could.

Let it be known that the photos advertising this property are not to scale and must have some age on them. The condo is quite a bit smaller than what the photos show. But the most notable negative about this property is that it needs serious upgrades to the paint (chipped and discolored), the drapes (actual HOLES & SHREDDED SECTIONS!!), as well as a broken iron, and seriously uncomfortable sofa sleeper. There were two sofa sleepers - one not too bad, but one with such a thin mattress that you might as well have been sleeping on the frame alone. Two decent futon sofas would look better and for sure be more comfortable. There was also a lack of storage space for those not in the bedroom - we had no closet or dresser. Just the floor. To advertise that this property would sleep 4 adults (comfortably) is just not accurate.

Amazing location, spa pool was great and easy communication with property managers, great trip

Although the listing stated that the beds were suitable for four adults and two children, two of the three beds were practically unusable - deformed and not suitable for sleeping.The apartment overall is worn out, and the water in the bathroom barely runs. During a storm, rain was leaking through a window that could not be properly closed, causing the carpet to become wet and start smelling musty.The pots and pans are in poor condition and potentially harmful to health.The location was perfect and the view from the window - awesome.

Very clean, great location. Some things were old and/or broken but overall very good location and easy check-in.

Location! Location! Location! Good value for location. The rooms curtains and floor are old. Maybe everything is old. I would stay here again because of the location and the cost.

A couple of cups were dirty (dried milk or something was stuck to the bottom), non-stick pots and pans were so scratched up we didn't use them, "sleeps 4 adults & 2 kids" is certainly a stretch because it wouldn't be comfortable at all. We'd say it sleeps 2 adults in the bedroom and the 2 pull out couches in the living room can do with a thicker mattress or another topper so you don't feel like sleeping on coils. That being said, the rooftop pool and hot tub was amazing and the location was wonderful.

Great location just a couple of blocks from the beach with tons of food and groceries in waking distance.

bathroom was dirty, no communication from host, ac wasn't turned on upon arrival and bathroom supplies didn't last the stay, due to convenience of location we will be back because of previous stays

Check in process was confusing as the code to the door was sent as a message at the time of booking months in advance, the code was not visible anywhere in the app unless you clicked into messages. Location was amazing and perks like beach towels and toys for kids were a nice touch. One of the sofa beds needs to be replaced badly with broken springs and saggy mattress but the other sofa bed was nice. We especially appreciated all the kitchen amenities like microwave, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. Overall a nice stay but vrbo should improve how it displays check in info from the host.

If you stay at this property you will see the same kind of reviews “the location is amazing, but the property is old” this is the same for my review. If you want to stay really close to the beach without the super high price for being that close, then this is perfect. But the property itself needs a lot of money/maintenance done, the cleaning crew for the property is doing a bad job as it seemed like some lazy teenagers are quickly cleaning just to get out of there, nearly everything in the place is either ripped/broken or dirty. The communication is great as the host responds back fast, but the information on what you get with the property and or your responsibilities at the property is not explained before purchasing. I will also say that the description on Vrbo and the pre-check-in information from the host do not match up with each other or even the property. I would say shop around for a different place before having to settle on this one…I want to also be clear that I am not someone that is accustomed to fancy living, but this was definitely not worth the money I worked hard to save and take a vacation with, only to use a portion of it on washing the bedding (before sleeping on it as it smelled unclean) towels, rags, buying toilet paper and other amenities I would need to stay here. If they would put some money into this place and get a better cleaning crew, this could be top notch for renting….as it stands now, no one should spend their hard earned money on this rental

Was a bit smaller than I thought from pictures but still big enough for a family of four. Great views, and blackout curtains which kept out the heat of the day. The host got back to us quickly with answers to my questions. Great location to everything and neighborhood was quiet after 11pm. Overall we had a great time!

Great location and views. Close walk to beach, food and shopping. Check in process was easy. Kids enjoyed the rooftop pool. Unit is a bit outdated, but it did the job. However, pull out couch was uncomfortable. Parking garage available, but expensive and limited space. Hard to find street parking.

We enjoyed our stay, with our two teenage daughters. Great location, comfortable stay. Owner very easy to deal with.

The property was nice. Had a nice pool, jacuzzi, steam room, and bbq area. Only minutes from the ocean, stores, eating, and everything. The kitchen had everything we needed. Only issue was that there was 6 of us and only 2 towels and no blankets. Took 3 days to get additional towels and no blankets ever arrived.

Property was a bit dated but very clean! Bedroom fan only had 1 speed so it got pretty warm in the bedroom. The location was great! Walking distance to the beach and plate lunch across the street was so good and reasonably priced. Rooftop pool and hot tub super cool!

The Location can’t be beat but the apartment is basic. Walkable to everything and the beach is 4mins away. Lots of beach toys as well.

The overall impression is the room is comfortable and located in a wonder location. Close to everything that is required during a trip. Thank you for your hospitality.

Compact and able to accommodate family. Limited Kitchen facilities available. Light in kitchen want working & didn't get fixed despite requesting. Easy to walk to beach, Ala Moana, restaurants, zoo. Advertised with roof top pool which was under repair. Able to use the pool next door. Booked for 6, on arrival not enough towels, bed linen. Quickly sorted. Communication very good - quick, responsive (except for fixing the light). Good value for money.

As advertised, beautiful views all around. Nice rooftop with Jacuzzi access, very close to beach and lots of food and shopping.

Location was perfect, as were the views! Rooftop deck and lounge are also excellent spaces. Check if they're available for your stay as extensive renovations are underway! Alberto (a member of the management team) was awesome to work with! He's your man if you plan to stay here. The hideaway bed had a broken frame, making it unusable unless the mattress was on the floor. There's no AC in the bedroom (would be helpful to know in the listing) so the door must stay open at all times to be comfortable no privacy. AC unit is very loud, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The bed in the main bedroom was extremely soft/bouncy and may be difficult for some travelers. There were a number of missing/broken items in the unit that management has been made aware of. Light fixtures, broken master bed leg, broken hide-a-bed, vacuum. We were offered immediate fixes but didn't want anyone in the unit while we were out, or to waste holiday time in the unit for repairs, so we made due. Kitchen was minimally stocked for at-home cooking, but was manageable. Toaster, coffee maker, and microwave were new and in great shape. The rest was a mismatch of thrift store-like items. Management did provide new cutting boards, bowls, mugs and sharp knives on our second day. (most of these were not in the unit when we arrived). Question management on cleanliness when booking as we found a dirty sock, tea bag, hair and crumbs when we first arrived. Beach chairs/umbrellas were good.

Great location, as advertised

As most places in Waikiki the age of things like furniture and window coverings needs updating. We were shorted some basic amenities but after the next day after sending an email the basic amenities were dropped off. The air conditioner in the living room was good . Left the bedroom windows open all night to get sone cool air. Although things lije the kitchen light not working and the broken boogie boards I would stay again as the location was perfect

It was an awesome experience staying at this condo. Great views from the living room and bed room.

The place was exactly as advertised. Clean and easy to check in. The host was very easy to contact! Highly recommend!! Muhalo for the accommodations!!
