Property Overview
As you step inside, the natural light coming through a floor to ceiling exit to the balcony will please your eyes. On your right, there is a fully equipped kitchen to cook your favorite goodies while your friends/family are making you a company sitting at the counter bar. Prepared goodies can be consumed on the balcony overviewing the harbor and magnificent ocean. This will be your favorite place.
After an adventurous day exploring Waikiki and its surrounding, you can collapse on the convertible couch and watch your favorite TV shows. Or take a good rest on the king size bed in the separate bedroom to restore your energy.
The Ilikai Marina is located on the far western end of Waikiki, with a great variety of places nearly at its doorsteps. Just a few steps away from the building is the Waikiki harbor, the Hilton Hawaiian Village, and Fort DeRussy park. As well as an ever-evolving scene of cafes, happy hours, international cuisine, and late-night bars to relax at with an exotic island refreshment.
There is truly no end to the stores to wander through, unique dining options, and entertainment such as Hula lessons or cultural shows closeby. But, if you prefer to explore more of Waikiki, Ala Moana, or even the greater Oahu area, there are several transportation options. There are several bus stops near the Ilikai Marina, which can take you to new surfing, snorkeling, shopping or sightseeing locations. There is also a Biki rental bike stand nearby, which can be used to explore Waikiki.
You will definitely enjoy all of the perks of the Ilikai Marina building, at an affordable price compared to similar hotels in central Waikiki.

The bed was comfortable, and the room itself was clean, but the sofa was quite uncomfortable for prolonged sitting (it would be fine for short periods). During my stay, I couldn't open the windows at all due to construction work. Eventually, I asked Marina Hawaii Vacations directly about the construction schedule. On days when the wind was strong, the noise was particularly loud coming through the gaps in the windows (especially at the center top), which made it difficult to sleep (though I'm not sure if it was due to the construction equipment). There was not even a single packet of dishwasher detergent despite having a dishwasher. When I communicated with management, they stated that there was no intention to provide dishwasher detergent. If you stay in this unit, please bring a few small tablets of dishwasher detergent with you. To everyone overseas: dish soap and dishwasher detergent are different, so make sure not to put dish soap into the dishwasher. For those with rheumatoid arthritis in their hands, it can be inconvenient during a week-long stay. During my stay when, after 7 PM, the shower only provided lukewarm water(3 nights), but hot water came in the next morning. I have never experienced this before (we stay Ilikai Marina regulary), it seems to be an issue with the building itself, possibly affected by the number of guests and the time of day. Location is good. We hope the management company can provide accurate and prompt answers to customer inquiries.
Amazing stay!!!
The view is what lured me in. Loved that it was within walking distance of one of my fave restaurants. Enjoyed the convertible furniture. The complimentary house slippers, bidet and detachable shower head was a great touch. Biggest issue I had was not the room but parking.
Apartment was as described and looked the same as in photos. Host was responsive to questions
Very nice. Parking was a separate cost which I didn't know. I either missed it or the listing didn't say. My check in email went to my spam box and I haven't seen check out instructions at all.

The bed, chairs and couch were very hard and uncomfortable. Between the toaster oven braking, property manager dropping off chairs, and the building maintenance knocking on the door all day, it was not relaxing at all.
The couch in the main living room was very uncomfortable. Could I use some more pillows . linens towels? Overall experience was really nice though. Iwould come back.
Great view. Bathroom needs a bit update. Bath towels are cheap quality and dirty with brown rusty spots on all of them. I recommend to bring some towels. Beds are comfortable. It was great and fine overall for what we paid for.

It was a great stay with wonderful views
To start, parking is quite pricey which honestly plays a big factor on the actual pricing of this unit if your staying more than a week. I think it was around 20-30 dollars a day! No directions on how to get to the unit once you arrive which left us guessing. The unit itself was nice but would be pretty nice if they updated it. Heavily scuffed walls thru out the apartment, stained carpet, very cheap furniture and the biggest thing for us was the sliding glass door to the balcony which doesn’t seal properly so when the wind and weather picks up it literally is a loud whistle/howling sound. Didn’t sleep for two of the nights because it sounded like you were on a cruise ship in the middle of a storm. Very loud party goers on the boats at night in the harbor as well. Unfortunately the neibor was smoking so that and the unsealed door led to our unit smelling of smoke at times. The host did send someone to fix the door but unfortunately never fixed it. It’s in a cool location, views were great but not very peaceful if your looking for quite. I think if we didn’t pay a hunk on the parking it would be a decent deal. Elevator was fast, Ton of parking available stores are local, beach is across the street. May or may not stay here again if we were to visit this area.
