About this property
Located on the quieter side of The Waikiki Grand Hotel™ with a city skyline view, this comfortable 8th floor Queen bed studio has free WiFi & built in Stovetop.
The super clean & well equipped kitchenette area ensures that a simple meal can be easily prepared at home. A Microwave, Coffee maker & toaster are in the kitchenette area along with flat surface easy clean stovetop. Pans are neatly stored in the cupboards along with ample plates, glasses, cutlery and utensils for your stay.
● Waikiki Grand Hotel Plumbing Construction Notice:
To ensure the long-term comfort of our guests, the Waikiki Grand Hotel will be undergoing vital plumbing improvements from mid-July through late December 2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. With no work on Weekends, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Day. Daytime noise and activity should be expected.
● Please note that our rates have already been significantly discounted for this period, and no additional discounts before, during or after will be given. If you’re planning to spend your daytime relaxing inside the hotel, we recommend checking dates outside this window to ensure you have the best experience possible.
● Since most of the activity occurs during the day, it’s the perfect excuse to spend your 8-to-5 hours exploring the beauty of Waikiki Beach, hiking Diamond Head, or enjoying local excursions!
● If your travel plans require a quiet environment during daytime hours, we completely understand and suggest considering alternative dates so you can fully enjoy your stay with us!
The bathroom vanity area is well lit & separated from the bathroom which has your shower/tub combo and W/C.
Fresh white cotton towels & linens (including multi-color Beach towels) are supplied for your stay and there is a laundry room (coin-operated) should you need to refresh during your stay.
You will have full access to the hotel outdoor pool and the 10th floor communal sundeck - The sundeck is the perfect place to view Diamond Head crater, Kapiolani park and of course the Beach and ocean.
The building also houses Hula's bar and lei stand on the 2nd floor (front of the building) and Teddy's bigger burgers (lobby level)- Both great for an lunchtime snack or afternoon drinks.

It ended up being the perfect place in the perfect setting right where we wanted it to be.
It’s an older hotel so things are dated, but it was fine. The staff were great. We were able to borrow some beach stuff from the front desk. The room had lawns chairs and towels. The 10th floor deck was a highlight as it offers beautiful views. It was a great morning coffee and happy hour place! The hotel is very handy to the beach, zoo, restaurants and shopping. We also used the pool a couple of times which was enjoyable. It’s a bit pricey, but everything is pricey in Honolulu!
Very nice place to stay in Waikiki. Hope we can return someday.
It was a great room for the two of us. We were steps from the beach and all kinds of food.
Location can't be beat, kitchen had only one fork for some reason. I wish I'd known about the all day ongoing demolition project next door - 12 hours a day of jackhammers. Exceptional access to great restaurants and the beach. Kinda worn down, dingy in the corners and grout and tub but everything worked.
Exactly what we expected. Had an awesome time and would love to come back again!
Quiet and restful but could use more lighting
Spot is just steps from the beach. It is quiet, but a budget attempt to revamp an older hotel and promote it as something new.
Was a perfect place for us!! The location couldnt have been better. Everything was beautiful and easy to get to. Staff was very very helpful when we needed anything. Will definitely stay here again!!

Picture of unit on website was deceptive. The place didn’t look like it at all. The redeeming quality of the building was the location and the roof terrace. Unit was ok. It’s an older building and unit is badly in need of updating. Pretty shabby but reasonably clean. The bathtub didn’t drain properly and we had trouble with the internet connection. The owner did respond quickly.
This was the most perfect place we could have stayed. It is in the middle of EVERYTHING!! Prime spot next to shops, food, the beach and centrally located to take the bus anywhere else you need to go. The room was absolutely perfect for my sister and I and put stay here was amazing. I look forward to staying here again in the future, thank you so much!
