To ensure the long-term comfort of our guests, the Waikiki Grand Hotel will be undergoing vital plumbing improvements from mid-July through late December 2026, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. With no work on Weekends, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas Day. Daytime noise and activity should be expected.
● Please note that our rates have already been significantly discounted for this period, and no additional discounts before, during or after will be given. If you’re planning to spend your daytime relaxing inside the hotel, we recommend checking dates outside this window to ensure you have the best experience possible.
● Since most of the activity occurs during the day, it’s the perfect excuse to spend your 8-to-5 hours exploring the beauty of Waikiki Beach, hiking Diamond Head, or enjoying local excursions!
â—Ź If your travel plans require a quiet environment during daytime hours, we completely understand and suggest considering alternative dates so you can fully enjoy your stay with us!
Also, there is a full concierge service available in the lobby to assist with island tours, bike rentals and evening dinner cruises (totally recommended for couples, pick Friday if you can as you'll see the Waikiki Fireworks display from the Ocean and its impressive!)
Insects, Geckos, and anything of such nature are a valuable part of the Hawaii eco-system
We assure you we have all our condos, including this one, treated quarterly for household insects
While it is rare to see such inside the apartment, it is always possible given our environment.

Online pics make the studio way more appealing than it actually is. The floor was sandy, bathroom sink needs a deep clean and window look like they haven’t been cleaned in years, so didn’t even want to open the drapes. Didn’t use the Wi-Fi as password was on the router, which was on the floor behind the night stand and that too wasn’t cleaned in years. AC unit worked well but crazy loud. A few positives- bed was comfortable, towels were nice, and building was fairly quiet. I knew I was getting a luxury hotel experience but a clean room was expected. Wouldn’t recommend staying here.
Absolutely the best property, price and location. I've stayed here 3 times here and each time is a great experience.
Loved this place! Cozy, super clean, and perfectly located just one block from Waikīkī Beach and an ABC Store. The views are such a bonus: the zoo, Diamond Head, and beautiful canyon trees right outside the window. Easy access to the bus line made getting around effortless. It can be slightly warm at night. The host was incredibly responsive, and having towels and beach chairs provided was a huge plus. Everything we needed for an amazing stay. Would 100% stay here again!
This is a nice condo in Waikiki. It was centrally located at the end of Waikiki across the street from the zoo. There is a comfortable bed and I feel like this condo would be good for two people.There is a fridge and a microwave. There is also a pool on site. This condo is steps away from Waikiki Beach.There are a few restaurants and bars close by so at night there is a lot of noise. This didn’t bother me because I wear earplugs to sleep.I did have an issue with having no hot water in the shower. I’ve made the issue known the first night I arrived. Maintenance came in checked the shower, but it was not fixed.There is parking on site but it’s 35 a day which isn’t bad when you compare it to other hotels in the area. I also felt safe, leaving my car in the designated parking area.
