Waikiki 1 Bedroom Condo w/ Pool - Sleeps 4

Had an amazing week for my babymoon! Unit was very clean and the kitchenette was perfect to make breakfast every morning. We really enjoyed the living room plus 1 bedroom (since I’m an early-bird and my husband like to sleep in lol). AC worked perfectly and the blackout curtains made for a good nights sleep. The pool area is beautiful. The place was just a few minute walk to the beach. We lucked out and were able to park our car in the parking lot the whole week which was incredibly convenient and much cheaper than the surrounding parking garages. I lived on Oahu years ago so I knew beforehand how close everything in Waikiki is to each other, so when it was time for me to book a place to stay - I didn’t want to break my vacation budget staying at one of the fancier hotels knowing that there were great options one block away. I’m happy I took a chance on this unit, I would 1000% book again if and when we come back!

Our Virbo person was great. Answered questions. Got back pretty fast. Now the hotel/condo part not the happiest. The hotel had us sign a form that said if things were missing from our rooms, the hotel is not accountable.?? Why would or should I worry about stuff missing from our room. Money, jewelry etc. So they do not hold there employees accountable if we have them in our rooms to clean or bring linens? So right off the bat I am stressed out. Making sure i carry my important stuff with me. Didn't want to hangout to long with family because i was worried someone was going through our stuff. Then when we got into our room, there was a musky smell and it was not enjoyable. We had to leave our slider open to help with the smell. There is water leaks on the ceiling. The condo looked bigger in the pictures than it was. Still, it was nice and it worked. But would I come back to the Bamboo. No. People were nice. You hold me accountable to take care of this home but not your employees!! That I have to sign a waver and except that they could steal from your customers.

The best thing about this place is the location... Very close to the beach and lots of great restaurants and bars. The room itself is dated and the bed was ok but sofa bed lumpy and not provided with proper fitted sheet. Staff were friendly and over all it suited our purposes but we weren't overly impressed with anything.

A nice place but needs TLC. Good location. Parking a problem. There is free street parking on Pualani Way if you can get a spot.

Stayed 4 nights. Close to everything. Staff and host were great.

Place is cute but the bathroom needs some serious tlc. Missing shower curtain hooks, used shower liner, and dirty shower curtain. Liners need to be replaced after every guest or ran through the wash. Shower curtain also needs to be washed after every guest. Parking is a nightmare and front desk staff is of no help. They only recommend parking garages that are attached to hotels that say guest parking only. Other than that, place is cute and in the heart of Waikiki close to the beach. Nice area

The location and price were excellent. The apartment was fine, but could have used some TLC. Overall, we had a very good stay

The building is clean, front desk is polite. The pool and restaurant downstairs is a big plus. Room was clean and spacious - slept four people with no problem.Walking distance to IMP, Target, the beach. Already recommended to friends and family and will stay again!

Nice condo but the check in took almost one hour because the host did not finalize our reservation with the front desk before our arrival. The shower needs some thorough cleaning and the sheets for the bed in the living room needs to be changed (several holes in the mattress cover). The location close to the beach is great but a bit noisy.

This condo is located in the heart of the city and is very walkable.

The location was great with food, shops and, most importantly, the beach within a short walk. The room was clean, the communication with the host was quick. It met all of our expectations!

Needs some attention: Window in bathroom does not close need to make sure bathroom door closed for noise. Mattress on pull out couch has spring sticking out. Missing part of sink faucet but still usablePool area is beautiful

Perfect location, close to all, yes a bit loud but we were hardly in the room and we are in the city BTW. Loved that it had AC, good size bathroom and laundry plus pool and hot tub. Very friendly service at desk also. Will definitely return!

This is an older property that could use a little TLC, but the location is great. Amenities in the unit are minimal and space is a little cramped, but for our purposes, it worked just fine. Close to the beach, shopping, bus lines, etc.

Bedroom cooling didn’t work. Cooling unit water drain was plugged and the water was dripping inside the bedroom. There was huge puddle of standing water in the room.The bedroom was musky smell to it.

Restaurants in the immediate blocks had great choices. Perfect distance from beach, 5 minute walk. The closest street to beach was all upscale bland stuff, Kohio had character. Target store 5 minutes walk was wonderful for groceries at a good price.

This unit is located just a 5 minute walk to Waikiki Beach and close to lots of great restaurants. It has everything in it that you would need. Loved it and would stay here again. Mahalo for a great stay.

This was the perfect condo for our 3-person family: a bedroom for us adults and a pull-out couch for the kiddo. Check-in with the front desk was a breeze. Even though this is a rental unit, we still had use of hotel facilities like laundry and the pool (very nice little pool and hot tub with lots of deck chairs and a restaurant/bar). Host responded to all our messages quickly. Condo itself was clean and well-stocked, especially in terms of kitchen appliances: there was a fridge, microwave, toaster, rice cooker, and coffee pot! Perfect if, like us, you don’t want to eat out for every meal. Target and multiple ABC stores close by, and a 5 minute walk to both the International Marketplace and the beach. This unit faces Kuhio Ave so you can hear traffic sometimes but honestly it didn’t bother us: all three of us are light sleepers and didn’t have any problems. All in all, a great value-would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

This was a great spot for those looking for a quick walk to Waikiki Beach and all the shops along Kuhio Ave. Having the kitchenette helped a lot and there was plenty of room for 3 people. Host was also very quick to respond to questions. Thank you!

My wife and I enjoyed the central location of this property. It was walking distance to everyplace we wanted to go. All good!

I liked that is was just 2 blocks off Waikiki main strip. Everything was walking distance.

Close to beach, perfect spot to explore

Great location!!! Loved the apartment!!! The only issue I had was the noise. I had a hard time sleeping even with ear plugs. I did read some past tenants reviews on noise but I didn't realize how noisy it was. I took the chance, which is my fault.

The property is in a great location and the neighborhood is safe. It’s a very short easy walk to the beaches of Waikiki and all the big shopping areas like the International Plaza etc. The building is older but kept up nice with a small pool and bar at the back part of the ground floor. The unit is what I consider perfect for the location….how much time do you spend in the room when you have so many things to do around you. It’s not ocean view so you won’t be lounging on the balcony for hours and the room is for showering, sleeping and the other S word, with that in mind it’s a great little place…furnishings are a little dated but again for its location it’s just fine. The only two negative things I will say is the road noise can be a bit much for those that are sensitive….it didn’t bother me. The second is parking…I found a very small and tight garage about three buildings away was cheaper. On-site parking has to be arranged in advance. The balcony doors are the smoothest gliding doors and the balconies are good for Mountain View’s and crazy people watching. We did lose power to the whole city block for about 35 minutes but it was quickly restored. Laundry is super convenient as it is on the same floor and like 30 feet down the hall…the view of the pool from the laundry room isn’t bad either ….you can almost see the beach. If you are a hoity toity that needs Park Avenue this isn’t the place….but if you want clean and comfortable and convenient this is a great place.

Our family of 3 had a great time in this property. Very centrally located and a nice layout for a small family or couple. The pool area was very nice.

This property was small and not new, but perfect for our family of three for a three day Waikiki stay. It is in an hotel, so think hotel-style amenities, tiny shampoos and tiny soaps, but it has a tiny kitchenette as well. Affordably priced, inland/city view from the small balconies. Some road noise but we enjoyed the bustle. My favorite aspect was the shower. The water was instantly warm and the water pressure was scandalously generous. The queen bed was comfortable and my daughter said the pullout sofa was fine, however, be aware that a person on the sofa has no privacy. This would not be enough room for a family to spread out and spend a lot of time inside, but staying inside is not why we came to Waikiki. This location was great! Steps from the beach and the International Market, and not far from the Ala Wai Canal which is great for a morning run.

Perfect location. Walk to beach and restaurants.

This place is in a perfect lactation, no need for a car. Traveling with a toddler is not easy but this space was perfect and had everything we needed! Waikiki market is a few blocks down which is great for groceries and meals, great poke! Coffee shop on same block for morning lattes and even got my nails done at the nail salon next door! Second time staying at Bamboo Waikiki and will be back for sure!
