Central Waikiki! Large lanai, close 2 beach! Fireworks! WASHLET! Sleeps 6!

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The condo was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the location was excellent for exploring Waikiki and the rest of Oahu. Having parking included was a huge bonus and made getting around the island very convenient. The unit had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation, and communication with the host was easy and responsive. We would definitely consider staying here again on a future trip to Hawaii.

Clean, good communication, very nice stay

Clean room could watch the fireworks on Friday. Beautiful view of the city. Could see the sunsets. Room was a little outdated. Could hear the other guests through the walls pretty easy. And the garbage truck every morning. But great stay would definitely go back!!

Our property mgr was not great in helping us. He never answered our calls or called us back. Our bathroom had a terrible water leak that would have gone unresolved had we not gotten involved. A nice place to stay but terrible customer service. I will not likely use this company again

My husbdand and our three children (ages 23, 19, and 14) all stayed here for a week. It was great! The location was a short (about 3 minutes) to the beach. Everything is very close (food, entertainment, etc.). The kitchen had everything that we needed to make breakfast there every morning. It was nice to have that option and know that all the pans and utensils I would need were right that! We will stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The unit is clean and comfortable with everything you need for the beach. This includes beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels, ice machine (in the freezer) and a cooler. It is bright and spacious and most importantly comes with parking. Paul our property manager greeted us at the front door, walked us in and personally told us everything we needed to know about the property. It’s central location is close to lots of wonderful restaurants, shopping, and the beach. Paul was super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We were three seniors (married couple and longtime friend). We needed a place close to our daughter’s apartment and this was a five minute walk. The location was fantastic. The place itself wasn’t super clean (the shower did not look like it had been cleaned recently) and had some wear and tear issues. The bathroom door is loud (it’s on a track) and a bit flimsy (kind of an issue with three adults sharing the space). Great supply of thick towels, we never needed more. The bedrooms were fine, comfortable beds and linens. They could use some new pillows. Lovely, large lanai where we had coffee every morning. The kitchen was perfect for what we needed. They definitely need new beach chairs. With just a few things, this would be a five star place but we did enjoy it and appreciated getting in early on our check in day.

Quiet building even though it is a block from the main thoroughfare. Everything was as shown on listing. Everything was comfortable and clean. The bedroom deck was great to catch the morning sun. To have two decks was a lovely amenity. And we were able to experience the Friday night fireworks from our deck! All around a great place. We hope to stay there again!

We had a very smooth and enjoyable stay with Captain Cook rentals. Paul was easy to get ahold of and helpful with any questions or issues. We had 5 adults and one infant in the condo for half the stay and only 4 adults with one infant for the rest. The condo is much more suited for a group of 4 adults versus 5 or 6 but it is manageable if you have more.

My family enjoyed our stay and the unit was as advertised. The location is central and the offsite parking was not a far walk. Our one note is that the bathroom sink had some draining issues, and the bathroom door didn’t shut properly due to the molding trim (near the flooring) extending just far enough to make it difficult to close/lock the bathroom door. Overall though, great experience.

We had a great time. Location was a bit small for 4 people but the location definetely made up for it. The area has great shopping, great restaurants and the parking situation was not bad considering the busy location we were in.

The location was great. However it was difficult to run the AC and there should be a fan in the one bedroom. Black bugs were seen running around. Not many but enough. Need an on site person, not by phone! I don't think that was stated when I rented the property.

Overall our stay was fine, the property location was great; close to the water and the main shopping street. A couple things worth to mention: there was a pest issue with cockroaches in the kitchen (around the sink) and the bathroom (behind the mirror and sink), there were a lack of basic cooking spices such as salt. A couple doors didn’t close properly (one of the doors, if it was to shut, would be impossible to open from the out side) and the couch/bed in the living room was uncomfortable. However, the air conditioning worked perfectly fine, the TV’s were operational and had a wide range of channels, the view was great, the windows did great when it came to noise insulation and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable.

Property was in close proximity of the beach, shops, and restaurants! Loved how parking was included, and the parking lot was not that far either.

We were very pleased with the condo. Was very clean. The location is excellent - only a 2 block walk to the beach. Close to lots of restaurants and shopping. We were able to see the fireworks from the balcony. Paul, the property manager, was excellent to work with.

There’s food smell from the tonkatsu place downstairs at night if you leave the balcony open. I think the cleaning crew didnt do a great job though, I had to clean the toilet when I got there, mold on shower grout, some candy behind a furniture. Furnitures and cushion had stains. The place needs deep cleaning. The linen were clean.

From checking in to checking out we had a great experience. Our family enjoyed the location and easy access to the beach. We would highly recommended for those that are wanting an easy walk to the beach, being near many food options, and a close ride to pearl harbor.

I was somewhat disappointed in the unit. It is more rundown than one would think from the pictures, and the property manager could have been more attentive. When we arrived we complained that the hinge on a kitchen cabinet door was broken, and there was no follow-up to fix the problem. Also, the kitchen and bath could have been better supplied with condiments and soaps, as well as utensils and dishes. I also did not appreciate having to pay $8 for a washing a load of laundary. For these reason I only gave the unit a rating of 3 stars. But, there were also some good aspects. They included: 1. Very friendly staff in the lobby. 2. Convenient parking a block away. 3. A nice front lanai, overlooking Beachwalk(could have benefited from one or two lounge chairs). 4. Proximity to the beach. 5. Proximity to restaurants in Waikiki. 6. Very little street and traffic noise.
