The Ultimate Waikiki Beach Unit!

Ideal ocean view Waikiki beach unit #1514 in the desirable Ocean Side Tower #1 is located just one block from the famous Waikiki Beach and has direct view of beach and ocean. This 1 bedroom corner unit is 10% larger than 90% of Waikiki Banyan units at over 650 sq.ft. Unit has a complete separate kitchen with full size range, cooktop, microwave and refrigerator with everything you need to cook and serve a complete meal and or entertain. The unit was remodeled with granite in kitchen, bath and shower. Unit is clean and comfortable and has a great lanai for watching sunsets, surfers and beach goers. New sofa sleeper, recliner chair and dresser purchased in April 2023. For beach goers, we have beach chairs and kids beach toys. For grillers and chillers, there is a huge pool deck with BBQ's, tables, pool and Jacuzzis. Less than a 5-minute walk to Waikiki's main beach, the zoo and Waikiki aquarium and centrally located to give easy access to all the fun, shopping and dining this ultimate location has to offer. . We do offer discounts for stays of 30 days or more-please send and email with dates for pricing.
The Waikiki Banyan was recently updated and remodeled throughout and has full time security. There is a vacation resort atmosphere at the Waikiki Banyan and the many onsite amenities include pool, spa, BBQ facilities, sauna, children's play area, snack bar, convenience store and ample sitting areas for dining and relaxing. As an added bonus, your rental includes beach chairs, mats, beach towels and many other useful items for your stay! Please feel free to ask for any special items that will make your stay more enjoyable.

It was easy to communicate with the host, though we didn't meet in person. The apartment was really great for us; good location, well-stocked kitchen, and super-easy to get in and out.

Room was clean. Conveniently located. Beach, shops, and restaurants in walking distance. The provided parking space was a BLESSING! Host Jeff is top notch! Responded to all of our questions prior to our arrival. BLESSED with this rental! THANK YOU JEFF!

The host made everything very easy and answered questions quickly. The unit was nice, clean, and well stocked with anything needed for cooking, cleaning, or fun in the ocean. We enjoyed the view, too!
Great location. Less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. The unit has beautiful ocean views from the lanai, bedroom and kitchen. Parking is included which is a huge plus in Waikiki. Jeff, the owner of the unit is very responsive. I had a situation arise after checking in. I texted Jeff about it and he responded within 12 minutes and he continued to keep in touch with me until it was resolved. He definitely cares about his guest I would stay in this unit again
Overall Nice experience. My wife and I, plus one of my wife's friends, (we are all 55); enjoyed our stay. The Banyan is an older building in a good location. We appreciated the extra towels, bathroom and kitchen supplies, garbage bags, pillows, etc... Check in was super easy. The fold out sofa bed was actually quite comfortable. If you will be cooking, everything is there, however bring your own spices/seasonings as there are none. The beach chairs on the back deck are rusty and need to be replaced. We had a great time and will possibly be back some day.
Great location
Very spacious and fully equipped kitchen. Parking included ! Enjoyed the view on balcony, watched the early morning surfers with my coffee and cool breeze. One block from beach, restaurants and shopping. We would definitely book this unit in the future.

Absolutely unbeatable location! The beach is a short walk away and you are right next to all the restaurants and shops. The check-in process was smooth, and we especially appreciated the garage parking which allowed for no stress rental car mobility.There is a washer and dryer right across the unit which was very convenient. Overall, highly recommend this unit.

Comfy king bed and pull out queen. Nice decor, spectacular view for the price! Shag carpet is gross and fake plants had a lot of dust. Significant dust under furniture- Not a good choice if you have allergies but a great option for a small family or friends to share. Loved having a kitchen. The floor is not so high that you feel nauseated but high enough for a nice view.
My second time staying in the Banyan, so I had a good idea of what to expect. This unit was actually a little nicer than the one I rented two years ago. It seems like the elevators are new since last time which is nice. Had boogie boards, umbrella and beach towels as well as a few masks and snorkels, also a soft cooler which is great. The parking is such a huge bonus because I had a rental car to get to other greats spots on the island. Waikiki is a great "home base" for a trip to Oahu, there is so much to see and do on the island. One more thing, the malasadas at Liliha Bakery are better than Leonards! Try them both though, you have to. Get poke at 5 star Poke as well, unreal. Way better than anything I can find Vancouver.
We had a comfortable stay at the Waikiki Banyan. We walked to the beach and had easy access to the rest of Oahu with the free parking. The unit had plenty of clean linens, well-equipped and stocked kitchen and bathrooms. We appreciated the extra deadlock on the door. We hope the unit will be available for future visits.

This was a very pleasant corner unit with lots of natural light, and a well equipped kitchen. It could use an update but was comfortable. The nice-sized pool was heated and the hot tubs enjoyable. Beach chairs and huge towels were provided. It was nice to have a balcony. The area was wonderful. Just 2 blocks from the beach and other hotels. Lots of things to do in the area and a pleasant walk to nearby attractions, including zoo and aquarium and large mall shopping. The convenient in and out parking garage made explorations to farther areas easier. The owner was very accommodating.
Stayed for a week at this property. Communication with the owner was great, needed a few things during the stay and received them very promptly. Thankfully, Jeff was able to accommodate a late check out for us which was wonderful. The unit was very clean. Furniture was all clean and comfy. It stayed nice and cool, we did not need to run the AC, just ran the fan on the AC unit at night to block out the street noise. The little kitchen worked great and had all the cooking utensils, etc. that we needed. Used the beach chairs and umbrella, both worked well but maybe need replacement soon, as they are getting very worn out. Did not have a vehicle, so cannot comment on parking.Loved nearby Kaimana beach, nice vibe and good snorkeling. Spent a day in Kailua on a nice Kayak and snorkel excursion.We would stay here again!

We previously lived in Hawaii and my daughter was born there, so we frequently go back to Hawaii. We have stayed other units in Waikiki Banyan for a few times. I believe that this unit is the best unit ever. It’s clean and nice modern design, but it also looks like a home! This unit is actually bigger than other units in the building as it is at the corner. As there is no ‘next unit’, thus very quiet. I would strongly recommend this unit. We will definitely stay in the unit next time we come back to Hawaii!!
This high rise unit has outstanding views of the beach and is centrally located (walkable) to most everything in Waikiki. The property has free parking, pool/hot tub, small cafe and convenience store all onsite. The kitchen is fully stocked and garbage and laundry facilities are right across the hall. I would update the listing to remove the two pictures of the bedroom as the difference in bedding and furniture makes it appear that there are two bedrooms. In fact this is basically a studio apartment with a bedroom and sofa sleeper. You could close the sliding door to the bedroom, but it would cut off the rest of your guests from the sole bathroom. That was a minor issue, though, and our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We have been to the Banyan using a timeshare we had for years, so we are familiar with the layout of the property and age of the property. There is an elevator problem that you have to work around by timing. Being in the elevator trade for the last 49 years I understand that, very busy! The view was the best we’ve had of the beach area , very nice to sit and look at while drinking coffee in the morning. As far as the apartment the age is something to consider, this one could use some upgrades. The communication with the host was ok. Very graciously allowed us to have a late check out that we didn’t have to lug our luggage around until our flight at 8pm. Overall we were not disappointed with our stay, the grandchildren had a blast and frankly so did we.
We felt at home. My kids enjoyed the board games and the boogie boards etc. Place was very clean. Awesome view from the balcony. I highly recommend!
Enjoyable
For anyone looking for a great location to stay very near (within 2 blocks) from Waikiki Beach, this is the place for you. Unfortunately there was some construction happening in the facility which took a bit away from our relaxing on the balcony, but all in all, a great place to stay
Amazing view of the ocean and mountains, while drinking morning coffee and afternoon cocktails… check, very comfortable bed, clean linens and towels … check..comfortable couch and lazy boy for watching a big tv … check.. beach chairs and boogie boards for beach.. check… wind blowing through the unit.. or air conditioning for white noise at night … check…fair sized kitchen.. check.. great location to walk to stores and beach … check! Now remember this is Waikiki so there is street noise no matter where you stay.. this is the city. The hotel is 1979.. so it is older( bathroom) however great shower pressure and a tub for bubble baths. The lobby is very Hawaiian and has beautiful historic pictures of Waikiki. This condo met our expectations, and allowed us to explore the island. Thank you Jeff for a wonderful vacation home base! It was a very memorable 3 weeks. Mahalo, Laura Lee
The place looks just like advertised. Great view from lanai. Would definitely stay here again.
My family was very happy staying at this apartment. It was easy to use the parking lot, nice to have kitchen with all necessary appliances and cooking tools, beautiful view from the balcony too! The beds were comfortable and they supplied us with plenty of towels and toilet paper. We would definitely recommend this place and would come back again in the future. One recommendation is to fix the blinds. They are old and broken and not giving enough shade. Overall great place!
