Aloha Suite Near the Sea II, 3 Block Walk to Beach

Everything was nice and clean the room was quiet and it was an enjoyable stay.

Peter was a great and attentive host! The suite was very clean and comfortable. The AC worked well to keep us cool from walking all day. The bed was comfy with soft sheets so we slept well through the night. There was body wash, shampoo/conditioner, & sunscreen that were all provided as well as a full size fridge and basic kitchen essentials if you wanted to make a meal. The location overall was amazing. We easily walked everywhere we needed. And it’s right by the Spam Musubi cafe and Maguro Poke which was convenient for us. We would def stay again!

Comfortable , close to the beach and short walk to restaurants and shopping, close to pick up point for tours. Will be nice when they have laundry facilities.

Clean, comfortable, functional, relatively good location relative to Waikīkī Beach. But cannot rate it higher due to two features beyond owner’s control. The garage is small with 15 spaces for a 100 unit building. It is cramped and if all spaces are full I’ve seen cars having to back out up a difficult to maneuver space and ramp because it’s so small you can’t turn around. I paid 50/night a block and a half away at Waikīkī Banyan Parking garage instead. Second disappointment were the balconies. The parapet walls are so high that when seated you can’t see over them. But there’s really no nice views to look at anyway.

Everything about the unit itself was great, clean, well stocked with everyday needs provided. Our host Peter was always there and willing to answer any questions and would go the extra mile to assure our needs were met. He was great. We did feel safe with the security available in the building and the general loaction. However, parking was a nightmare. The public parking under the builing was dark, damp, very steep enterance and exit. It smelled of garbage and was dirty. The Kuhio Tower itself in in need of repair. Because of the storm the power went out and we had to used the fire escape stairs. The stairs were steep, narrow, wall paint peeling and dirty. It is too bad such a beautiful unit is in such a run down building.

Short stroll to the beach, awesome food right next door and across the street and a great jumping off point to the rest of the island.

Unit was in a great location. It had everything you need for a trip to Hawaii. Super clean. I would stay there again !!

Host was very responsive. It is small but worked great for two of us. The location is great and the place was very clean…checking in and the elevator system was a little tricky to navigate the 1st time, but once you understand what to do it’s fine

The host was very communicated and easy. The place is not luxurious, but very neat and clean. Easy walk to the beach and Wakiki restaurants. Nice they included beach chairs and towels.

Great stay in Waikiki!We loved our time here! The location was perfect — we walked everywhere — to the zoo, shops, restaurants, and the beach every day. The suite had everything we needed, and the bed was super comfortable. Check-in was easy, and having convenient paid parking for our rental car made things simple. This was our second time staying here, and it felt like coming back to our home away from home. It’s affordable, comfortable, and made for a totally stress-free vacation. We’ll definitely be back again!

Peter was very precise with the check-in procedure (which had a lot of steps to follow) but we had no issues because of his directions. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. We picked this location because it was close to our children that live in town. It is very close to everything in Waikīkī (which sometimes made it too busy for our liking) but it was all very walkable. Unfortunately the building turned the water off for one day that we were there. We ended up just driving out on the island for that day.

My stay for 8 days at this location was wonderful. The location itself was perfect; food available just outside the lobby doors, transportation options available outside the doors as well... Three block walk to the beach...unit was clean....would most definitely stay here again.Sam

Loved the location of the VRBO, so close to the beach and down a popular street with lots of shops and food to walk to. Felt very safe in the location.

Convenient location makes everything walking distance - food and the beach. Uber was pretty cheap to most destinations from here as well. Communication with the host was great. The unit was on the small side and we found it pretty tight for two people with a suitcase each. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. I think the springs on the side closest to the door are completely shot. Otherwise we enjoyed the stay and the proximity to everything.

Location and size amenities were perfect. Great communication as well. A couple of issues were a couple of times there was early morning (5am) work going on with the unit next door. Once .

Peter's place was great for the price. And he was extremely helpful with every question I had. Less than two blocks from gorgeous Waikiki Beach. A McDonald's very close by as well as a few ABC stores. My phone is not allowing me to see what I'm writing, so I can't write more but basically everything you've read from others is.

Overall the place was a great stay. Very clean and cozy, lots of amenities! Only tricky thing was the parking after dinner time and 5’9” parking clearance. Would recommend to other couples looking to stay in Waikiki!

Easy access to Beach to restaurants to luxury department store parking a little small but okI would recommend this place building the kind of old but ok they keep maintaining overall not a bad place to stay .

Host was very thoughtful with all the furnishings: toiletries, kitchen utensils, and beach supplies. Instructions were thorough and I appreciated the parking tips which was definitely needed in Waikiki. The location was perfect: close to the action but not too close, allowing for a quiet night sleep. Really good value and I wouldn't hesitate recommending.

This was the first time my husband and i had been to Hawaii, Peter the host text us before, during and after our stay. He replied immediately. I loved that we didn't have to buy or rent beach tubes and chairs. This place was convenient to shopping, restaurants and walking distance to the beach. We thought the space was perfect for the two of us. We couldn't be happier with our stay.

We came here from another island just to see Pearl Harbour. City life is not for us but it was nice to walk everywhere as I sure got my steps in, it is noisy and something seems to be always going.

I like the location is nearby to pretty much everything such as restaurant, the beach. The property is clean and equipped with coffee maker, microwave and mini stove. I really enjoyed during my stay my in this unit and will recommend to my friends and family. Thank you!

Pete was a great host. Money saving place to stay. Well kept. There are very reasonable markets nearby, just put "market" in Google maps. Stay here and be happy!

Location was great! Walking distance to the beach (3 min is accurate), lots of restaurants, shopping, access to buses, the zoo, etc. The host responded with our concern. The single bed did not have sheets so we contacted him twice to get sheets. One of the cleaning staff eventually arrived with sheets and a blanket. The single bed is adequate for a child but a teenager or adult would definately not be comfortable on it. The unit itself is generally outdated - patio doors are difficult to open and close, laminate flooring is old and broken, the bed, pillows and blankets are not comfortable. The owner was aware that we did not consider his property a five star unit and therefore offered us a late checkout which was appreciated. If we return to Waikiki, we would spend more to stay in one of the many hotels in the area. If you are on a tight budget this place will be ok.

I enjoyed my stay at this condo. Their towels are very thick and absorbent. They also provide big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash liquid soap so you don't need to buy from the store. We were able to warm leftover food from the restaurant in the microwave. Plates and silverware are provided. There's also a coffee maker. Peter is a very good host.
