The pool and all associated amenities will be closed starting April 7, 2025, for an estimated duration of 10 to 14 months to accommodate the Recreation Deck renovation project.
This 23st floor condo has the best of both worlds, a birds-eye view of the bustling city and sparkling ocean. Better yet, is only a 5 minute walk from the World-Famous Waikiki beach! This condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator, stove-range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and all the kitchen supplies you will need to have an at home cooking experience while you are on vacation. This kitchen includes a gorgeous breakfast bar complete with stools for the perfect quick meal fix! Please sit back and relax in the airy living area that includes a large flat screen TV and cozy couch. The lanai includes lounge chairs and side table so you can enjoy a warm cup of coffee and watch the island sunrise!
This unit has a comfortable bedroom with 2 Queen Sized Beds and a picture-perfect view of the rolling waves. The bedroom can be made private by the sliding partition doors or left open for a very free flow room. A comfy sofa sleeper is built into the living room, so if you need extra beds, we've got you covered. The bathroom right off the bedroom has a closed off private toilet and a great shower/bath with a detachable shower head. This bathroom is the perfect place to wash away all the sand and stress after a day spent at the beach!
Additional sleepers can be arranged by special request. We provide high quality inflatable beds. Please contact us directly prior to room assignment.

Most of our condos at Koko Resorts are located in the luxurious Waikiki Banyan, an ideal spot for any occasion in Hawai'i. Just a block from the famous Waikiki Beach, you can easily enjoy dipping your toes in the soothing ocean water, surfing, swimming, scuba diving, hula dancing, and exploring Hawaiian nightlife. The Waikiki Banyan is also close to top-notch dining options and shopping centers like the International Marketplace and Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. For family fun, the Zoo and Aquarium are just around the corner, and public transportation is readily available for exploring Honolulu, conveniently located just outside the building.
The Waikiki Banyan features a beautifully furnished lobby with Hawaiian decor, soothing waterfall sounds, and a koi pond. Enjoy coffee and breakfast at The Banyan Breeze, a local coffee shop, and stock up on local treats at the lobby's Mini Mart. The recreation deck includes a full-length pool, hot tubs, saunas, a tennis court, barbecue grills, and a children's playground. The intial room was not left in good condition, but Koko Resort was able to find is a better accomodation on the property which was spotless and well maintained. We were happy with the updated accommodation
Place was small place was small but cozy had everything we needed quiet neighbors, beautiful view
The location is ideal. The room itself needs some renovation. The walls are very marked up, shower doesn't work great, and the balcony door did not open when we checked in, and the dresser / nightstand drawers don't work great. However, they did get the balcony door fixed the day after we checked in. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was great. It was perfect for what we wanted.
Location was good but the room, horrible Let’s start with the entry door. Deadbolt wouldn’t latch, no matter how hard you pushed or pulled. The light bulbs need replaced above the fridge. The couch is filthy. The sliding door to the patio does not slide. It needs some serious WD-40.
Great view and ubication
I could not ask for a better property. It was clean, comfortable, excellent location & the parking was free. Customer service was excellent. I will definitely look for this property for future stays!
The host, though charging an absorbitant Host Fee, did nothing to resolve three issues that existed throughout my entire stay. The first was that all though parking was promised to be provided, the full size SUV that we rented would not fit in the Banyon's parking structure. Koko Resorts said that the restrictions are very clearly (not) stated in their property description. We had to find parking off site at $50.00+ a day. The second was the room's air conditioner that leaked water all over the carpet. Nothing done to resolve the problem. The third was that the TV cable box was inoperative throughout my entire visit. Neither the AC issue or the TV issue were ever resolved. The staff that answered the phones at Koko were understanding and apologetic but the problems were never addressed. I had seven calls into Koko over 21 day period. Koko certianly did not earn or deserve the Host Fee that they charged me. Their service was non-existent except of course for the poeple who answered my calls and apologized profusely. The Banyon as property is a great location. All units have full kitchens. It's great for families because you can make meals and do not have to go out to eat all the time. As I am certain you can imagine, going out can get expensive in Waikiki. We have stayed in Waikiki too many times to count over the past 30 years. The Banyon is a great afforable property. Don't stay in any unit managed by Koko resorts. They are disgraceful. They don't deserve your hard e money.
Overall we were happy with this facility. Perfect for a family that doesn’t want to rent a car as it’s in walking distance of 5-10 minutes to everything in Waikiki. Full kitchen and the additional space compared to a standard hotel room made this unit great for extended stay of more than two weeks. We didn’t have to go out to eat very much and laundry is just down the hall. The view is amazing from all the huge windows in the unit and furniture is all in good shape and comfortable. The common area has pool, two hot tubs, sauna, kids playground, tennis courts, lounging and dinning areas and is supervised so is a nice calm and family friendly setting. Only complaint with the room… it is showing its age a bit with basic wear and tear on the walls and doors. . Also ac had some drainage issues and flooded the lanai making it not very usable, but the maintenance was quick to respond to our request for assistance so five stars for that!
Great location, old furniture and flooring! Broken bathroom door, that they did not fix within our stay! The worst part is that they took the bathroom door away and we had to go in the bathroom with out any door on it, imagine it when you have kids and adults in the unit! Never Back to this unit!
The bathroom door (sliding pocket style door) was never functional. We could not get it to slide closed without a huge struggle and then if we were able to struggle to move it halfway then we couldn’t get it back open. We could never close the door for privacy and had to ask our family to stay in living area while the bathroom was being utilized. We alerted the Vrbo manager and they sent some man to “fix” it but he struggled and tried and said good luck and it was off the slide rail again within a days time. When we moved the living room chair out of the way to open the hide away couch bed the leg fell right off/ screws came out. One bed “mattress” was a large piece of foam with a flat sheet on it that had small holes/rips in it. There were no pillows provided for the hide away bed even tho we registered five people. The tea kettle handle was laying next to the tea kettle in the cupboard. The toaster was dirty. The place was very dusty. I could have wrote my name in the dust on the tv stand/dresser. Five guests were registered to stay in the room however we only had four bath towels and wash cloths upon arrival and were told we couldn’t get anymore until every four days. They only replaced four bath towels and no wash cloths after the first four days. After an additional four days we asked for more towels but they never arrived. The elevator(s) were routinely malfunctioning. Very disappointing for the cost of the place.
The elevators were not good as 2 of the 4 were not working with so many people. Also, the room was run down, and there was not much in the rooms for us to use as it is listed as a “condo” with all amenities, but many were not in there. And then we were charged for not leaving our parking pass in the room, but yet the 2024 pass was left in the room and the 2023 was thrown away as we were directed to do. Not happy with this condo and would not recommend to use until updates are done.

the place needed updating. As some doors where breaking and hard to open. And some fixtures of plugs were loose
It was very rundown, it was nice that it was a close walk to the beach and many restaurants and such. The AC was so loud, it made it difficult to sleep, the mattresses and pillows were atrocious, the balcony door was very difficult to open and close. Kitchen floor all cracked and pitted. The shower bars were totally rusted. Pool closed kind of early. It could be really nice if upkeep had been done.
The condo itself had a great location, close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. This condo had a great view of the ocean, but it definitely needed to be updated!
Worked well for our family and our needs. Close proximity to the beach. Would stay again.
