The Space:
High above the shoreline, where the Pacific stretches wide and trade winds drift through open air, you'll find a calm, elevated perch in the heart of Waikiki. From the 18th floor of the Waikiki Banyan, ocean views unfold beyond your private lanai - a steady backdrop whether you're starting the morning with coffee or watching city lights come alive after sunset. The beach is just a short stroll away, and everything Waikiki offers is within easy reach.
Living space
The condo is a single-level, air-conditioned space with a bright, open layout connecting the living area and kitchen. Large windows draw in natural light and frame the ocean view throughout the day. The living room features a flat-screen TV and a sleeper sofa, offering a comfortable spot to unwind in the evenings. Room-darkening shades, extra pillows and blankets, and clothing storage in a closet add to the ease of settling in.
Sleeping arrangements
The bedroom is separated from the living area by a sliding door, providing privacy when it's time to rest. Two queen-size beds sleep up to four guests, with cotton bed linens, towels, and essentials provided for each. The sleeper sofa in the living room offers additional sleeping space, best suited for children or shorter stays.
Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen includes a Whirlpool refrigerator, Kenmore stainless steel electric stove, Kenmore stainless steel single oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, hot water kettle, blender, rice maker, toaster, and baking sheet. Cooking basics, dishes, silverware, wine glasses, and a dining table make it easy to prepare and enjoy meals without leaving the condo.
Bathroom
The full bathroom features a bathtub and shower combination with hot water, hair dryer, and Essentiel Elements bathe shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel provided. An iron is available in the unit, and paid washers and dryers are accessible in the building for longer stays.
Outdoor living
Step out onto your private lanai, furnished with outdoor seating and a dining area, to take in the ocean views and steady island breeze. Below, the building offers a shared BBQ grill, sun loungers, and an outdoor playground for families. Beach essentials - including beach towels, an umbrella, a beach blanket, and snorkeling gear - are provided, so days by the water are easy and well-equipped.
Building amenities
The Waikiki Banyan is a family-friendly building with elevator access, an outdoor pool, shared hot tub, and shared sauna. Please note: the pool and hot tub are currently under renovation until April 2026. Shared beach access and free resort access are included for guests.
Parking & extras
Enjoy added convenience during your stay with laundry rooms on every floor (accessible via WASH-connect/WASH-card), easy access to trash rooms located at the end of each floor, and complimentary parking for one vehicle, saving you about $45–60 per day.

✨RECREATION DECK (6TH FLOOR)
The recreation deck at Waikiki Banyan is currently undergoing a complete transformation and is scheduled to officially reopen on May 18, 2026.
Once completed, this will be the largest recreation deck in Waikiki, entirely rebuilt with all-new amenities, landscaping, and furniture. The redesigned space will include:
• A large heated swimming pool
• Three brand-new hot tubs
• A brand-new sauna
• All new loungers and daybeds
• Modern barbecue and grill stations with seating
• A children’s playground
• A full tennis and play court
Everything on the deck will be new, beautifully designed, and ideal for families, couples, and longer stays.

The recreation deck and its amenities are not accessible prior to May 18, 2026. Some daytime construction activity may be present. Rates have already been adjusted accordingly.

• A parking pass will be available after check-in. Detailed instructions will be provided once your booking is confirmed. Please remember to return both the parking pass and keys at check-out to avoid additional fees.

Great location and good remodeled unit
Breathtaking view! We found the condo building easy to access in the city with included garage parking within the property. Walking distance to everything. The unit is very clean and spacious with everything you need for your stay. Will stay again when visiting our family.
The property is located very close to the beach with all the stores and food places you could ask for. Clean premises and responsive management.
Easy, clean and exactly what we wanted.
The kitchen was well-stocked with all the basics for meals, including foil, pans, pots, and dishes. We also appreciated the thoughtful extras like two beach chairs, plenty of towels, toilet paper, garbage liners, and cleaning supplies.There was ample parking and communication was easy throughout our stay. The space had a clean, tropical theme and was in a great location with a beautiful view, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings.

The view was breathtaking! Over looking at the beach with the sunrise and sunset was just amazing. Just one negative review is the shower needs a non skid mat/strips to avoid slipping/falling.

This is a great property with easy parking included. The views are breathtaking. We opened the lanai door and windows and used the fan, not the ac. Ceiling fan would be nice. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen has everything needed but ice maker so we just used the trays. The Waikiki Banyon is an easy walk to the beach and the park. More towels might be nice since there is no washer and dryer right in the unit. Pay laundry on each floor. The lanai is lovely. Mahalo!
We had a wonderful stay! The property manager was incredibly easy to reach via text, and checking into the room was a breeze. We opted to pay a little extra for a late checkout, which worked out perfectly for us since we were flying home that evening.The room was well-equipped with everything we needed: a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, pots, pans, and more. We also loved that we could see the ocean from the room—it was such a peaceful and beautiful view to wake up to each day.The location is ideal—just a few blocks from the beach, which features a calm lagoon perfect for floating or for families with young children, thanks to its shallow water and lack of strong waves. A Catholic church just a block away made it easy for us to attend a beautiful Easter service during our stay.There’s also no shortage of shopping and dining nearby. From luxury designer boutiques to affordable stores—including the ever-convenient ABC Stores on nearly every corner—you’ll find everything you need within walking distance. The International Market Place is also nearby and offers a fantastic selection of restaurants on the third-floor Lanai—perfect for relaxing and enjoying a delicious meal.Perfect location, great amenities, and a truly relaxing experience—we’d absolutely stay here again!

The Waikiki Banyan was in a good location, just a block from the beach. We enjoyed the view of the water from our condo, and the parking garage was an added bonus. The condo was very nice and the beds were comfortable. We had a really nice vacation.
Family had a great time. Accommodations were great, I wish they would have let us know that there is construction going on with the elevators in the building, so access to the elevators were an issue during our stay, at busy times we waited almost 35 minutes for an elevator and being on a very high floor it was difficult to carry things up and down the stairs using the stair staircase.. but the apartment was great, we had a great time and it was a great location to beach and restaurants.

This location is fantastic and the view from the place is amazing. The bathroom being located in same room as where people are sleeping with no outside access was not great, and the elevator situation in this building is very annoying (waited up to 15 minutes for an elevator) otherwise our kids really enjoyed the stay and the customer service was really well done.
Very nice place with a great view of the water (not 180 but better than most). Close walks to just about anything. Room nicely updated, good beds and great shower. Nice unit at a very reasonable price. Only down falll was smoke detector which flashed a bright light during the night. Wished I had a piece of tape to cover the light. Beautiful place with a great location to walk everywhere. Having the parking was a huge plus! The only recommendation is an eye mask. With the time difference and city lights we had a difficult time sleeping through the night to check if it was morning.
The building is a bit dated and the elevators are slow. Our apartment was quite sufficient and overall nicely decorated and clean. The sliding door into the shower/ toilet area needs some oil. It squeaks and at night that was a bit annoying. Overall the apartment was good but the buildings fire alarms and notice to evacuate the building happened 2 nights in a row waking us from sleep. Thst was rather annoying for sure.

Amazing ocean view, great location, everything you need for a wonderful stay in Waikiki. Free easy plentiful parking!! Check in process and communication with host was excellent and door key code is very convenient. Coffee shop in lobby of building makes excellent lattes and breakfast sandwiches if you don’t want to cook yourself. Will definitely return to this condo!!
You can't beat the view of this place. Our family loved watching the boats and surfers at Waikiki Beach. Everything was walking distance and the local food was fantastic.

We rented two condos at the Waikiki Banyan for a week. The walk was two east blocks. The condo was as advertised. The host was good with communication. Check out and check in were easy. We will stay there again.

The room was safe, clean, well-decorated and it had (in our room) a beautiful ocean view from our lanai and the bedroom. For our family with kids, having a kitchen with a stove, microwave and large refrigerator were essential and they all worked great. Our room also had - fast (300mb) free Wi-Fi - a portable fan which we used every night - small but effective AC unit - large lanai - beach chairs! Very useful - a fold out bed in the living room. Not super comfortable, but great for our kids - I was worried about the elevators as we were on the 18th floor, but they had 4, fast, working elevators and we rarely had to wait longer than 2 or 3 minutes going up or down -protected, ample parking with easy access to the elevators - 5-10 minute walk to the beach -outdoor bbq which we used - $2 an hour to use but well worth it - the pool looked clean and inviting but never used it - really thorough and easy to understand check-in and check-out instructions on the DACK app (free app) I read a lot of reviews about Bayan before booking and, for us at least, there was no construction noise, fire alarms or water shut-offs. The hall carpets looked like they were from the 70’s, but other than that the whole place, especially our room and the open lobby, with a coy pond, were all beautiful. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Exceeded all expectations!
