An Aloha condo in the heart of Waikiki-5 minutes to beach, parking, AC,WiFi incl

Pros:Great Location! Easy walk to a less crowded beach. Multiple beach choices.Parking was great. Easy to access. Sometimes finding a space was harder- but always doable. Lots of space. It is bigger than your typical hotel room. The kitchen is small but perfect for a vacation stay.Beds are comfy.Place was well cleaned.So many beach items available. Snorkels, umbrellas, body boards, chairs- it was great.Cons:AC only in the main room and bathroom only accessible from the bedroom meant that we had to keep the separation doors open and defeated the purpose of having a one bedroom instead of a studio.Saw a couple of roaches in the kitchen. This would be a bigger deal, except- it's a tropical country and the host responded within 30 minutes and had someone over to address the problem. All the storage space except one dresser is full. This was only an issue because we had a longer stay, and the space under the bed is slightly too short to store luggage.Overall, we were happy with our stay and especially appreciated the hosts quick response to any issues.

1. This condo is on the 8th floor, you can see some beach to the left when you stick your head out to the balcony, otherwise just a parking structure view from windows. 2. This room is at the end of hallway next to laundry room, quiet and convenient doing your laundry. You have to use an app to do a laundry and pay $4 per cycle wash connect is the app 3.This property has 3 boogie boards, a parasol, beach chairs, snorkeling gears and other beach ready stuff you can use freely. 4. Elevators are no problem. They are updated with the touch screen 5. When you check in, go to parking staff on the first floor and talk to the attendant and park your car near the elevator. Take the elevator to the property, grab the parking card and place it on your mirror. Park it near 4th or 3rd floor wherever you can find parking. Garage door to the elevators will be locked above 2nd floor at night, you can find a key under the TV. 6.Location is right behind Mariott and Hyatt

Great location, sleeps 6, very clean. One block to beach, bus to airport, shops, grocery and other locations steps away. Next door is a community center where church services are held on Sunday. Host response to any questions you may have is almost immediate. Update renovations to the 6th floor recreation deck ongoing, complete with Pool, tennis court, hot tubs, play area for children, bbq. as well.

Great spot for our little family getaway! The location was ideal—an easy stroll to the beach, even with a toddler in tow (and all her gear). The condo was clean, cozy, and toddler-approved—our little one, aka the real boss, had a blast exploring every corner. Miraculously, she even slept in her own bed the whole time… which basically makes this place magical. We didn’t need to contact the host since the instructions were crystal clear. Only small blip was a slow elevator one day, but nothing that spoiled the fun. Would absolutely stay again!

The host was super nice and answer all the questions right away. Parking was available and that is super convenient in Honolulu.

Great time!

The room was good and we had lots of extra items available to take to the beach. The a/c had a hard time keeping up with the warm weather and had some cleanliness things that the host took care of quickly.

Here are our thoughts about at this property: Pros: Location - a block to beach and on city bus route, free parking. Unit - clean and exactly as photos, spacious for 3 adults moving around. Host - responsive, replied to our queries almost immediately. Cons: (1) One of 4 elevators was out of service, so the wait for elevator was sometime long. (2) Placing 2 full size beds in bedroom make it impossible to access the closet, you will to climb over the bed every time you need to get your clothes from closet, this was not ideal for someone with knee arthritis like me (my suggestion to the owner is to put a smaller night table between the beds, this will free up some space allowing easier access to closet). (3) We could not use the balcony from day 1 due to a pool of water from the AC, we had to either sweep the water off the balcony or wring dry the towels to get rid of water, eventually we gave up using the balcony, which could have been nice to enjoy the scenery (the owner was replacing the AC at the end of our stay, hopefully this is no longer an issue). (4) There was no beach chairs or umbrella for guests to use although these are listed in the description of the unit (owner should check these items regularly if they are to be included in the listing). Overall we enjoyed our vacation at Waikiki and would consider returning to this unit if the issues mentioned above are taken care of. Mahalo

We enjoyed our stay. Quick to respond and easy to communicate. The apartment was spacious with kitchen compared to a regular hotel room. I really liked the coated pans were in good condition and not all scratched. Free parking was a plus! We also liked that the property had beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and etc. *Only thing is that make sure to also clean the hidden areas like under the bed(we saw it was dirty when my daughter dropped her chapstick).
