Condo unit was great. Love the location. Disappointed that the pool and hot tub area was closed for renovation, but hope that means it will be awesome for the next time we return.

I had a terrible terrible experience with this condo. I usually don’t complain much. First night, after shower, I found water leaking from two spots of the bathroom ceiling. So I texted to Byron ( captain cook resort ) He texted me that contact to security office instead front desk. Security guy said maintenance man already went home, not available. But water leaking was less and less, then stopped around midnight. Second night, after shower, I found water leaking from three spots from bathroom ceiling. So when I sit on the toilet, water dripping to my head directly. So I texted to Byron again, he said he was not sure why this happened. I asked him to refund my rental payment. Then my husband and I packed and went home that night. Because we couldn’t use toilet at all. We live in salt lake in Hawaii, just rented this condo for our wedding anniversary. I am not happy at all with this condo. I want my payment back.

Beautiful Unit! Very comfortable and a convenient location.

This place was just as you see it. It was really clean (having stayed in other places on the banyan, this was a big deal for me), seemed really new, and had a nice view. The renting company was super responsive and so was the property manager.Only issue was a weird smell from the bathroom, but that might be the bidet. Not a deal breaker. I would definitely stay here again.

Check-in was flawless. Parking was super convenient and being able to go in and out was a plus. About a 3 minutes walk to ocean which was also a plus. Everything was close by. My wife was very pleased with the choice. Thanks

Have stayed here before and will stay again. Was disappointed that the pool deck was under construction. Suggest adding kitchen scissors.

Great property, made for a comfortable week long vacation for my boyfriend and I. The location makes walking to many good, beach, coffee and shopping options easy. Having 1 parking space included is a big bonus.

A beautufully clean and well equipped condo within 5 minutes from the beach! Appliances worked great! The bed was super comfy - and the linens were perfect! Lots of towels, paper supplies were on hand so no need to top things up. WWonGreat!@neneighborhood

Overall a good combination of amenities (pool and hot tub, parking, appliances and dishes in the room) location (short walk to basically everything in Waikiki) and still at a reasonable price for a six night stay.

The accommodations were very nice. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen appliances are really nice. We appreciated the amenities like beach chairs and towels. The bedroom was quite hot even with the air conditioner on. We were also a little concerned about the ceiling texture scraping off when we opened the curtains. Hoping it wasn't dangerous substance. Overall we enjoyed our stay and having the ability to cook.

Everything really did go well - the property mgmt did quickly come in to fix a small problem. - The only Issues I witnessed was slowness in the elevators and no coffee maker. Easily overcome with ingenuity and a little patience. I would definitely rent the condo again

The condo is in good condition, could use new paint on the walls to help keep the condo looking top notch. I loved that they had a play structure next to the pool, which is great if you have young children. The AC will not cool the bedroom section if you have the doors closed, but the unit did come with a fan you can use and you can open the windows.

Overall, we had a great experience. The room was stocked with towels, soap and a sponge to clean dishes, and all the other amenities that one would need when staying away from home. I highly recommend staying here and I would recommend it to someone who was looking for a place to stay in Oahu. It was a great little place! We also loved the coffee shop that is located downstairs!

Reviewer Comments: Upon arriving at the Waikiki Banyan we were greeted by a very friendly fellow in the parking garage who gave us excellent directions on what to do. You could certainly tell that overall the property as a whole is quite dated. Elevators ran very quickly considering the number of floors and we were on the 20th. Our unit was very clean and had everything that you would need for a short stay. The bathroom however, is quite dated and could use a refresh. The biggest issue was with the shower head that kept falling off!! We made it work as we didn’t want maintenance in while we were there. The faucet lever to fill the tub does not work so no way to have a bath. Also the sliding doors between living space and bedroom were off the track. The bed is super comfortable and we slept extremely well. Cushions for the outdoor chairs would be a nice added touch. Location in Waikiki is excellent...1 block from the beach but away from the noise. All in all a worthwhile expense. Management has been informed regarding the bathroom issues and we were told they would be sure to look into it.

I stayed here with my daughter. Check in was so easy. I appreciated be able to go straight to the room. Location was great to get to the beach and all the shops and around the island. We loved all the windows to see the city and the ocean.
