Queen Bed Suite Balcony Suite over Pool at the Gorgeous Bamboo Waikiki complex

The room was spacious and clean. The balcony above the pool was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The location close to Target and the beach and many restaurants was ideal.

We had a nice time and it really fit our needs to enjoy and explore Oahu. We would return.

just one night the hot tub wasn't on but that's about it. Staff was great!

Never met the host. There was no welcome package, basket, gift or even a note. Tje room was comfiftable but a little run dosn. No bedspread, just sheets and blankdt. There was no screen on the sliddr so while ee enjoyed the view and sounds we worridd about mosquitos. The mirrored glass closet door sas falling out of it'd framd. The portable fan was noisy and if the bathroom windos was opem you heard lznguage and smelled smoke and pot from the alley below. Do if yoj're looking for luxury don't look hdrd. If you fon't mind old comfot it's ok. Sould not stsy again.

Booked 4 adults and got a bed and a sofa bed that would only fit two small children. No room cleaning all week. TV didn’t work. Musty smell. No car parking available. No reply from email we sent to politely complain. Reception staff unhelpful. Pool and hot tub lovely. Location excellent. Bar food and drinks really nice. Bar staff very friendly.

Ideal for me, my husband and teenage son. So many quick food options within walking distance. No more than a 5 minute walk to the beach. Also about a 5 minute walk to Target. Loved having the bar and jacuzzi for nightly relaxation. Easy access to bus line.

The check in was easy. The location was awesome. Very close to beach, shops and restaurants.The room itself was dated but had everything we required.The balcony overlooking the pool area is lovely and the pool/spa itself is beautifulThe only negative would be to provide more bedding for sofa bed and have a couple of blankets on offer.Overall...a wonderful stay at Bamboo Waikiki. The Bamboo Waikiki was very nice. The room was very clean, a little bit of repairs needed. Bathroom was smaller than expected. Staff /check in very helpful. However as pictured online there was 3 chairs pictured to eat at the small table and for desk there were none in the room.location was perfect, short walk to the beach and many restaurants and close to shopping. Overall for the price and location we were pleased.

It was exactly what we needed. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Reception was very helpful. Loved the decor in the lobby. The only con was that the swimming pool was closed shortly after we arrived, but the kids did get to take a short swim, and they enjoyed sitting in the hot tub. The next day the pool was again fully functional. The bed was sooo comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. it seemed like there were a lot of great spots to eat in close proximity, but we were there to participate in Special Olympics, so we spent most of our time at U of H. I don't think we had to wait for an Uber more than 5 minutes ever. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Property was in reasonably good condition but is due up upgrade. Close to dining, shopping and beach. No need to heve a rental car with limited and expensive parking. Also there are cheap day rentals near property for any longer excursions.

The bathroom is very small.The bed was comfy. Grand daughter slept on the futon no complaint’s. The older bartender downstairs called my 43 year old daughter a little shxt. Pool was very nice open late for Waikiki.A little beat up could use an overhaul paint new caulking paint furniture. Thanks

We really enjoyed staying at this Vrbo. The location was unparallelled, just a few min from the beach and with restaurants all around. A couple of things to point out: this property is located at a hotel, but it does not include the services usually provided by the hotel. Also, parking at the property is very limited. When we booked this Vrbo, we were told that parking is available upon arrival, but when we got there, we were told by the front desk that we needed to have reservations in advance. Overall we were very satisfied with it, though.

This is a great location just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and groceries. Kitchen has all you need to make a quick meal or heat up leftovers. Mark was excellent with communication and responded to a couple of needs quickly. Thanks so much Mark for helping to make our stay terrific. It was a great holiday and the unit was all we needed.

It was great to be in the middle of everything happening at Waikiki. We were close to the beach, so many food places, shopping, everything. Great place to stay!

Close to the beach, convenient for young families. Suite was spacious and had the necessities. Numerous eateries close by. Room was quiet, clean and airy. Balcony was great.

As always, a fabulous stay. The best courtyard, pool and bar to be found!

Positive: clean, comfy bed, good shower pressure, 2 coffee maker choices, extra towels including beach towels, good WiFi, helpful hotel staff. Negatives: Missing kitchen waste basket, ironing board, & beach chairs. Needing repair: shower curtain & under sink light fixture

This property was nice but surrounding noisy construction impeded any peace and quiet

If you love old Hawaii vibes….stay here. Large quiet, quaint, comfortable unit. Beautiful grounds that are well maintained. Walking distance to all the beaches, restaurants and shopping.

This property had everything you need for a comfortable stay in Waikiki. It has a kitchenette with bar fridge, small cook top, microwave, dishes and cutlery. Great for two people. The bed was very comfortable and the lanai was the best as it faced the lovely pool and gardens. The suite is reasonably priced and is showing signs of wear. Would I stay here again. Most definitely. Host was very responsive and answered all questions.

This is a great property that we wanted to stay in specifically. The unit overlooks the grotto and pool area, which was perfect for us. The unit has two balconies, so when opening doors there is a wonderful cross wind that we really enjoyed. Everything described was accurate and it was very well maintained.

We love the Aqua Bamboo, you can’t beat the location and pool….we will be back

Convenient, nice and clean, and decently equipped but note shortcomings. Parking is essentially non-existent, they noted upon arrival that they have 10 spots for the entire place and in 5 days we were never able to park there. Laundry is shoehorned into a few spots, can be tough, but workable. The pool bar doesn't sell alcoholic drinks and often you have to go find someone to attend it. You would think more of it by looking at the adds.

We just stayed at this property for an extended Valentine's weekend. I could not have asked for a better location, close to the beach and great food places. The bed sucks you in at night, and you get some great sleep after a dip in the pool at night. Thank you Mark & Group, you're all the best.

Loved the location, pool area, room was a bit dated, but clean & comfortable. The staff were great & we had a lovely time.

pro: The room was really clean. Got everything we needed. Enough towels for the length of stay. Really small kitchen. We did not use the swimming pool as well as beach supplied. This hotel is closed to everything. We enjoyed walking around. con: 1) This hotel is really old. The elevator was broken down on our first day. Had to use the stair. I did not like their stair. Also, I did not feel comfortable about the elevator. Too small and too old. 2) The furniture in this property were really old and broken. How do I say it. You can see them everywhere since you walk into the room. The cabinet under the TV smell and really old. You can tell right away by looking outside. The picture frame was taped because of the crack. Same as the glass doors of the closet for the clothes crack and cannot closed fully. The table, chair and bed frame are old. Same as the furniture in the restroom. the cabinet really old. I were afraid they would fell off when I open the door of the cabinet in the room and in the restroom. 3) I had to contact the owner about the blanket for the futon bed since the one they had was smell badly. 4) Also, it was really noisy since it is on the main street and close to the beach at night. My kids did not feel comfortable during the stay. We will not return to this property because this place was too old even it closed to everything.

Wonderful location near the beach, gorgeous room overlooking the pool, great amenities and getting in and out was hassle-free. The only less-than-satisfactory part of my experience was the shower valve barely lifting up and so I had to go the entire trip without a shower, squeezing in a couple of baths whenever I had the time and patience
