2BR/1BA Condo at Royal Aloha in Waikiki! Free PARKING, Free WiFi!

Clean and affordable. Communication with the host was excellent. Parking is across the street and the building entrance is not ADA accessible.

This property was clean and comfortable. It’s close to shopping as well. There is free parking, but be aware that it is more than a block away and not convenient to the property in any way. This is not an issue if you don’t have a car. We enjoyed our stay here.

The property is located close to the beginning of Waikiki, in an older condominium property, meaning it’s not a hotel. One of our friends is handicapped which presented a bit of a challenge with the front entrance stairs. There’s a street entrance we were told about. The condo is spacious enough for 3 adults with a full kitchen and appliances provided. A/C works great and a nice breeze also comes in when you open the balcony doors. No bugs seen! The condo was clean, but the cleaners didn’t dust or check the corners. We had enough linens and towels for our group and amenities were provided.There is only one lock on the door, and a door guard should be provided for security purposes. In all, we had a great time and easy walk to Waikiki or the Ala Moana Shopping Center.

This was a lovely, clean, and convenient place to stay in Honolulu!! This is a gem of a property, we would definitely stay here again!!

This place looks nice on the website but was located next to Hawaii's getto, very dirty place overall, flooring was coming up in the bedroom, no lights worked in wither of the bedrooms, black mold in the batherrom and in the AC vents, kithen was clean had 3 pots for cooking,couch had huge wet spot, Ac was jankieand came through a cardboard area under one of the windows, most of the crank ha dles were broken for the windows and the beds were horrible. We did not stay in this location due to the condition of the place.

AC worked well. The lights weren't working initially, but the host got that resolved quickly. The parking was across the street which was a little unexpected and slightly inconvenient. We did enjoy our stay, and the value was good for being in downtown Honolulu.

The condo was in a good location for getting around the island. There was easy access to shopping, freeways, etc., but we did have a car. The parking is in a high rise across the street and is easy to get to, but not super convenient especially when there’s stormy weather. The property was older and somewhat run down. The listing stated 1.5 bathrooms, but it only had 1 bathroom. The host apologized for this mistake, but it did effect our stay and I was disappointed since it was one of the reasons I picked this place was having the extra 1/2 bath for our use. The kitchen was handy for meals, beds were very comfortable and I enjoyed sitting out on the lanai. Overall it was a descent place to stay on a budget.

Location and proximity to Waikiki was good. The accommodation was ok, but the property and unit are not very well maintained. The uber drivers could not find the property easily and the building they kept going to was kitty corner across the street. One of the twin beds has a dip in it and squeaks all the time. The bathroom fan is very noisy.

Everything was really good. Close to all the major beaches and stores. There was also a parking space provided in the nearby parking garage which was really nice.

Everything from the process throughout the whole stay was great. Couldn’t be happier.

The place looks like no manager/owner has done a walkthrough in forever. It screams of neglect and with not too much money you could make it so much better. The bathroom mat need to be replaced, the dish dryer is rusty (!), the kitchen rug is torn and dirty, bulbs in the ceiling are mostly burnt, vinyl floor in the master bedroom is coming apart, the springs of all the mattresses in all the rooms are ruined. and the door lock doesn't work properly. Other than that a water kettle to boil water could have been a nice addition. We liked the balcony but that's pretty much it :)

So conveniently close to shops and beach! Cozy home would love to stay again

The location was great for shopping and food. The room was easy to get to being on the third floor. We are used to city noise, so being on a low floor didn't bother us. Our only issues were the drop tile ceiling in the bathroom could be cleaner and the A/C above the tiles was very loud and shaky. I had to lift a tile and wedge the shaking piece of the compressor in place in order not go crazy while inside. Note for the next guest: The WIFI name and password is listed on the router, it is not what is written on the welcome sheet.Overall, I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Oahu, but something to dampen the A/C compressor shaking and noise would go a long way.

The parking was inconvenient and directions were terrible … the building itself was rough (no pictures included on the listing) … there was a used washcloth in the shower … there is a drop-down tile / filthy, dusty ceiling in the bathroom to hide an air conditioner (no bathroom pictures on the listing) … the air conditioner is SO loud it shook the walls and woke us up every night … the wifi listed was never found / offered on the list of options to connect to … AND we ran out of toilet paper!

Condo was ok but the beds were horribly uncomfortably. Laundry says 3 per load each wash and dry but got charged ea.

Check in was a lottle comfusing and parking is difficult

Pros: Price was good for location and size of condo, and the extra amenities were a nice surprise! Parking structure is right across the street so that was convenient. Cons: Condo needs some TLC - repair the outlet plugs and ceiling in bathroom. The emergency vehicle sirens were going off all night long, so I had to use ear plugs. All in all, it worked fine for our needs though!

Basic property but had everything that we needed. This property was great for us location wise. Easy walk to the main area of Waikiki. Yes it was a bit noisy especially if you don't live in a city/town but nothing that we didn't get used to in the 8 nights we were there.

Fun Waikiki spot for locals like us.

We had a good stay at this place. It's a little bit of inconvenience to park the car to the 5th level parking lot across the street but it's great to have a parking spot. It's not a quiet place to be at night. The two bedroom place is what we need. We did not stay in the place all day everyday, we're always somewhere. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed having all the benefits we have at home. Large frig, coffee pot, toaster and microwave. That was really nice to have. Thank you for a pleasant stay Arvis!

AC worked great. If you looking for a quiet peaceful spot this is not for you. MANY sirens day & night. Balcony nice but if you want it for sunshine youll be disappointed. Twin beds a little lumpy. King good. Couch ok but not comfortable for long. Kitchen fantastic.

Lovely older condo with good view of Honolulu . A few minor glitches but overall it was a really great place for our vacation. It was rather loud at night from the street. Convenient to the beach. The owner was responsive. Would stay there again. One review mentioned roaches but we didn’t see any and believe me I would have noticed!

The location was nice, close by shopping, restaurants etc, but the street noise, emergency vehicles was non stop and very loud especially at night when you're trying to sleep. Absolutely no insulation with the windows in the bedrooms so you hear everything. Pest control guy came in the unit with no notice and unannounced. Good luck finding the parking, especially at night. It was very difficult as the numbers for the parking spot are the same color as the cement. The location is across the street in another building. Elevators are very outdated and sometimes they worked and sometimes they didn't. The pool was very dirty and looks nothing like it did in the listing so we didn't use it at all. Very disappointing. The shower head pressure was minimal and took time for the hot water to heat up. The unit has a coffee pot/filters but no coffee or cream to start your stay. Communication with the host was intermittent. Had issues the first night and took him over 24hrs to respond.

It was enough room for the family for the stay with a great location and access. The disappointing things were had to wait on keys to enter room at check in, there were roaches in the kitchen and in the bathroom and worst of all we ran out of toilet paper; sent message to host and never got response back so we had to purchase our own

This unit was nice, it is outdated but thats to be expected for the area. Noise wasn’t an issue for us, you are in the city you should expect some noise from outside. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed. I will say we did see some roaches but you see roaches in the street! We lived in Japan for 4 years so we knew that we would see them. You can’t avoid them on a tropical island. I don’t think it’s an issue that the owners created or can avoid! The owner was great at communication and we would come back again, we actually wanted to book it again in April but it was already booked!

Please let folks know you need a key fob to use elevator for parking.
