About this property
Volcano, Hawaii is unique to any spot on the Islands. When you crest the 4000’ summit of Kīlauea Volcano you enter my tropical neighborhood. Our piece of paradise is across the street from Volcanoes National Park with the park entrance less than a mile away. When Kīlauea volcano is erupting, (it is currently active as of January 2023) you can see the red glow of the plume from the b&b.
Your private cottage is situated on my large property surrounded by lush tropical plants and my tea garden.
The space
Our b&b is comes equipped with a lifting garage door that opens to a beautiful view of the garden. There is a spacious living room/kitchen area, that has recently been renovated. There is a large sunny bedroom with a private bath/shower. You will have full access with a private driveway and large parking area.
Other things to note
The night sky is so dark that the star gazing is amazing. You’ll sleep so well because the neighborhood is peacefully quiet.

Easy access to Volcano Village and the National Park.
Excellent location, friendly communicative host.
Excellent stay, Annabelle is a fantastic host. Quiet area very close to the park. Highly recommend!
What a great location very near to Volcanoes National Park. The unit is extremely large and very comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and even though there was a slight mixup with our reservation, they were able to rectify it extremely quickly. My only recommendation would be that they provide a small smart TV that you can stream your devices. There is no need to provide cable anymore since everyone travels with their own devices. A Drying Rack would be very helpful as well.
The #1 stand-out was the hostess. Did a quick check-in to make sure I had what I needed. (Yes, she had thought have everything so I was all set.) :) #2 was location. Near the volcano but also in a nice quiet neighborhood. Great golf course nearby for those interested.
What a great spot! Loved the proximity to the volcano neighborhood. Very spacious, worked out great for my partner and I. The park is very close by with art galleries near as well!
Annabelle is a wonderful host. This is definitely a piece of paradise. I liked the open living area to hang out in. Large bedroom. Quiet neighborhood. Great location, within a mile of volcano. Golf course is even closer. Would definitely stay here again.
We always love staying at the Volcano Golf and Country Club neighborhood. Our stay here was comfortable and quiet. The hostess was kind and gracious. Future guests should be aware that the bathroom does not have a sink. The only sink is in the kitchen. This made things a bit more complicated but we adjusted.
Anne was a fantastic host and the stay is perfect. Only a mile from Volcano park entrance, in a safe neighborhood, with beautiful artwork and garden. Will book again if we are lucky enough to come back to the area. Thank you Anne!
I especially liked this location because it was cooler than down at sea level. It was also situated on the sunnier side of Volcano. Just note that there is no tv and only one sink. We did not mind this as there is good internet and a ping-pong table to entertain us. The owner is a great hostess and was there when we needed her and not when we didn’t. Thank you Annabelle!
