The Neighborhood:
From this North Kihei address, Sugar Beach is close enough that a beach walk can be a before-breakfast tradition. The shoreline has long white sand for swimming, sunning, and giving little ones room to play. Sugar Beach Resort also has a shared pool, hot tub, and grills, so families can change the pace without loading everyone into the car. Kihei's shops and dining are nearby when you need supplies or an outing. Then it is back to the resort and the easy pull of the coast.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Everything was great
Nicely updated unit with awesome views. Centrally located most places are 20 minute drives or less. One of the better units in the building from what I could tell.
We mostly enjoyed our stay here for our 10 year anniversary trip. We loved that it was not in a busy part of the island and it doesn’t have a city feel to it at all which is what we wanted. We loved the view from the balcony. The WiFi was a little spotty but that is not a deal breaker for us. The pool was wonderful and a nice place to spend the afternoon when you don’t want to deal with sand. We liked the onsite parking with no additional fee like you get at resorts. Literally the ONLY thing we didn’t like and I wish I had seen someone else mention when I was researching this facility, and I will also say this is no fault to the condos or this company but I feel it’s worth mentioning cause it is a deal breaker… THE SMELL FROM TELHE HARBOR. I completely understand no one can control the smell of the harbor or the direction the wind blows. I 100% know that. I just feel it’s worth mentioning that every single day from the hours of like noon-7pm when the wind blows in the direction of the condos the smell of dead fish is overwhelming. And had I known that, I would have booked somewhere else. Again I know it’s out of control of Vacasa or the condo owner but I wish I had known my anniversary trip I would not be able to use the balcony or pool due to the smell.

Beautiful central location - very comfortable and well equipped to enjoy the beach!
Very nice condo, tastefully appointed. Loved the location, the furnishings and especially the shower. Could not ask for a better experience, everything was perfect!
The view was amazing, nice pool and easy access to beach. I want to add best little sandwich cafe on site. Reasonable and very good food.
Very quiet, great hot tub, easy walk to Keystone lake and the conference center Would stay here again
