Sweet Blue Hawaii! Ocean View! No resort Fee!

Great spot

The first thing we noticed when we arrived is that the view is of the city. You can see the ocean from just a corner of the patio. You cannot hear the ocean over the city noise. The room is decorated beautifully, but we found that it felt as though there were too many items in such a tight space.The space was clean but there were areas that just didn’t feel as clean as we’d have liked, such as debris around the bed frame and dead gnats on the ceiling of the shower. Some items just looked as though they had been skipped over for a while. The shower is extremely small. There is some inconsistency within instructions. For instance, the instructions say we will pay an administrative fee directly to the front desk at checkin. But several days before we were sent a request through VRBO for the amount (which had increased). The pool area was under renovation during our visit, and looks as though it will be for a bit. Overall this is an efficiency without any daily house keeping, so keep that in mind if you intend to stay a while (only two sets of towels). The location was close enough for us to walk to the beach and go out for meals, etc. So overall it served our needs for this short trip.

Nice clean unit, nice view of the ocean. Good location for quick access to the beach. Pool was shut down entire time with no prior notice, but we were able to use the interesting pool at the Bamboo hotel next door. Unit has a lot of noise all day due in large part to the construction next door of a new hotel but also a lot of noise at night due to its orientation facing Kuhio St. and central Waikiki.

The room was okay, but not what we were led to believe it was from the listing. It's just a hotel, for the price you're much better off just staying at the monarch hotel where it's at. The amount extra you pay is not worth the decorations. The listing leads you to believe there's a bedroom and living room, it's all 1 room,. The ocean view is very small and off to the side. If you just open the windows and look straight out you can't see it, it's a city view. The roof top pool, the main reason we chose this place was closed, and had been closed for a month and we weren't notified before. And lastly the construction noise was TERRIBLE! starting at 730 am , and going until about 4pm. No chance to sleep in! This also has been going on since September, and we were not informed before hand. All and all it was a cute hotel room, but for what your paying your way better off somewhere else or booking through the hotel itself. The host should have informed us of the non working pool and the construction. We definitely would have cancelled and rebooked elsewhere.

Other than some construction noise during the day, it was good. Very, very short walk to all the cool stuff in Waikīkī. The pool is nice, but needs a little maintenance. The bed was amazingly comfortable, but I never really figured out the tv (who goes to Hawaii to watch tv anyway?). All in all, I would be happy to rent here again

This condo was close to the beach within walking distance. Very accessible to pickup locations for any excursions. Not much room for clothes or suitcases. We were charged an additional $36 for registration fee upon arrival?? The washer and dryer are on the 3rd floor with additional charges to use. The balcony is barely wide enough to stand. The couch is not comfortable. We did not spend much time in the room because the weather was wonderful. For the price, we would probably look for something different if we were to return to Hawaii. .aadditional charges

The condo was absolutely stunning and matched the pictures perfectly! The rooftop pool and other amenities were a huge plus to the condo but the view was absolutely stunning!! The only thing I would suggest would be to include the parking information in the listing. You have to pay 25-35$ a day to park in the parking garage which is separate from your overall price to stay I paid an extra 245$ to park our car in the parking garage.

Very nicely decorated and needed supplies were wonderful. The view was amazing Everything was immaculate. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others.

Condo has a great location and very good amenities. It is an older building and perhaps too much stuff in the condo, but if you put away the clutter when you walk, in you can have a nice stay.

We had a great stay here with our adult daughter. Nice clean,modern units with nice views of the city and ocean and close to everything you need for a great vacation!

The condo is literally a short 2 blocks until your toes hit the beach… the area is great for your tour pickups at the Hyatt (one block behind the condo) The small fridge has a great freezer for making ice cubes for drinks and hold a few groceries… There are plenty of towels for showering and the beach. There’s one boogie board, a small cooler for can drinks and 4 sets of snorkel equipment (2 adult & 2 child) for catching a glimpse of some undersea life. Our favourite part of this room was how wide the sliding glass doors opened… turned the room into a lanai! It was wonderful. Our only issue was the cooktop… it seemed like the humidity had corroded one of the knob contacts making it difficult to turn off and on but that was my only minor complaint. Management was friendly and helpful. The fridge was turned off on our arrival to conserve energy… note that the higher numbers are colder which is counterintuitive but useful information! The condo is only a bachelor suite but it is beautifully decorated and has everything you need given you’ll spend most of your time out and about anyway! The pool and hot tub on the roof are a great way to relax and they come with a beautiful 360 degree view of the city.

Super cute condo and perfect for us. Excellent location. The host is very kind and responsive. Would totally stay here again! We loved it!
