Kona Bay Estates is a gated and patrolled oceanfront community. The Sunset Beach House offers 2700 square feet of luxurious space. It is just 500 meters from the sea. Opening walls of glass offer indoor-outdoor living with spectacular views of the ocean and a private pool. Enjoy spinning dolphins, breaching whales, and sunset 365 days a year.
The location is perfect. Walk to restaurants, bars, markets, and shopping in ten to fifteen minutes. Airport Beach, minutes away, is a lovely place to stroll. Kona Bay Estates has a large tide pool with a sandy beach, perfect for kids. Tennis courts, a children’s play area, free lane swimming at a community pool, pickleball courts, and basketball hoops are in the park right beside the community.

Two large oceanfront master bedrooms have king beds. The third bedroom has a king bed with a mountain view. Air beds are available. All bedrooms have TVs, full ensuites, outdoor patios, and air conditioning. The lower level is comfortably cooled with fans and ocean breeze.

Beautiful home with gorgeous views. Hosts were always accessible and friendly to work with. Highly recommend this place.
Pictures cannot describe how beautiful this place is! You never want to leave. There are at least 5 spots that compete for becoming your favorite one: overlooking the whole area in the crow's nest, sitting on chairs in the ankle deep section of the pool, sitting at the bar outside overlooking the pool area and ocean, reading on the cushioned lawn chairs on the patio in the shade, sitting on the sofas with the pocket doors wide open, etc. In short: the perfect vacation home. Very nicely decorated with art. You feel at home immediately.The three bedrooms each have their own, very quiet, split air conditioning. Each bedroom has its own, spacious bathroom.It's located in a very safe area. All attractions of the island can be reached conveniently and it's only a short run to Target, Costco, restaurants, and the town.The beautiful, sandy beach, Hapuna Beach, is less than half hour away. There is also a little beach in walking distance where you can get into the ocean.It's about a 2 hour drive to the volcano.Swimming with manta rays is close by.
We've stayed in many vacation rentals, but this one stands out. The open-air living room is amazing, creating a seamless connection between the indoors and the stunning natural surroundings. It allows the breeze to pass though and is a perfect view for sunset.The view from the crows nest is second to none. Arguably the best sunset viewing of the entire neighborhood.The location is another huge plus. Being near the end of a gated community means peace and quiet with very few passing cars. It also puts you in the perfect spot to explore. We loved that we were just a 5 to 10 minute walk to the kid-friendly Queen's Bath beach or to Old Airport Beach (Kailua). This is a truly special place, and we can't wait to come back!

Great time! Excellent property and location.
Incredible home in a private guarded neighborhood close to dining and shopping! We had an amazing time and was the best vacation we have had as a family due to this incredible home. Everyone had a great time and opening the home and enjoying the views and cool ocean air was the best!

Our family enjoyed 6 wonderful nights in June. The house is beautiful and the views are magnificent. The location is perfect for walking to town or to the beach. Our daughters really loved the tidal pools in the backyard. We would highly recommend this house and hope to return. Thank you!
This property was amazing. We can't imaging a better view and enjoyed all of the amenities. After needing to re-locate our vacation due to the Lahaina fires, it was nice to just stay at the property and relax.
