This bright 11th-floor Ilikai studio sleeps three with two beds, one bath, AC, a full kitchen, and a sleeper sofa for flexible downtime. The open living area has a flat-screen TV, while the breakfast bar makes an easy place to start the day before heading out. When you stay close, choose between the large heated pool and a second pool made for sunbathing. Kahanamoku Beach, boutiques, restaurants, and Ala Moana Beach Park are all within walking distance, so you can shape the day as it comes. It is a view-led Waikiki stay for a couple or small family who wants beach access without giving up a sunset perch.
The Space:
The private 11th-floor lanai brings marina and Pacific sunset views right into this bright studio, with a mirrored wall reflecting the water inside. The sleeping area accommodates up to three guests, and a room partition can separate the sitting area when wanted. A full kitchen and breakfast bar for three make the layout feel ready for more than takeout.
Guest Access:
Guests at Ilikai Hotel in Waikiki enjoy an outdoor pool, an elevator, and paid on site parking. A private lanai and patio add outdoor space, with the beach and sea views just outside. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.
The Neighborhood:
The Ilikai sits at Waikiki's harbor edge, where the marina gives the neighborhood an open-water feel and Kahanamoku Beach is close for a swim. Walk toward Ala Moana Beach Park for gentler water and broad lawns, or follow the shore into Waikiki for surf lessons, catamaran sails, and plenty of places to eat. Ala Moana Center is nearby for groceries, shops, and dining. Diamond Head makes an easy half-day outing. This is a great pocket of Honolulu for guests who want Waikiki energy with room to watch the boats come and go.
Getting Around:
Waikiki is easy to explore on foot, by rideshare, or by bus. A rental car is optional for guests who plan to explore beyond Honolulu. Use the arrival details provided before your stay for exact building access and parking information.
Other Things to Note:
Parking: on-site valet parking $45/day per vehicle (rate subject to change). Limited free daytime parking is available along the beach side, first come first served. Additional paid parking is available near the marina. Laundry: communal coin-operated laundry area, no in-unit washer/dryer. Please note: window air-conditioning unit in the living area only.

Host was very responsive to questions related to check in. Property great location. Would have preferred a unit that was a bit more updated. Bugs crawling on kitchen counter at check in and throughout stay despite keeping any food items in refrigerator
Location, location, location! Right at Waikiki Beach with a room that offers a beautiful view of the bay, harbor, and surf. The booking process was easy, check-in was smooth, and everything about the stay made it simple to relax and enjoy the experience. The only suggestion for improvement would be more comfortable pillows. Overall, a wonderful stay in an unbeatable location.
The view from the balcony and location is what gives this unit its value. Easy walking to grocery store, restaurants and beaches. Don't expect anything fancy in the unit itself. The pullout couch is not terribly comfortable, the dishwasher has a distinct sulphur smell when you open it and the toilet screams a little after each flush. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. As long as you are not expecting a five star hotel room then you will appreciate the awesome view and the magic of being in Hawaii. We had a great time :)

Location is great, parking is easy but the pools were shabby. Guests are not permitted to use the pools pictured in the ad.
Run-down, dated unit. Nice building, nice views, nice location. Unit needs work - even considering lower daily rate - but adding in “fees” the unit was overpriced for the quality. I’ve rented units in this building 3x’s. You could do better for the money. A refresh of the basics would elevate the experience tremendously.
