This place was amazing. Communication with owner and property manager was fabulous. The condo was great, amazing view and super comfy bed. Fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, everything you need for beach fun. Want a fresh pastry for breakfast? Malasadas are a short walk down the beach. Want a cocktail? Go into Dina's on site. Want a great pasta salad or sandwich? Also at Dina's. Hot tub was great. Truly, this place is the best! We will be back!

My husband and I stayed at this property for a few days on our honeymoon because we wanted to spend time in Kihei/closer to Wailea - we only stayed for two days, but you easily could stay for a week - inside the condo: it was spacious and perfect for the two of us with a large kitchen for cooking. The view is also incredible - just like the pictures! We sat on the balcony mornings, days, and nights - it's a destination in itself. The beach was also very quiet and perfect for walking or sitting in the sand. We saw lots of people swimming as well. Overall, I highly recommend this property if you're looking for something quiet, cozy, well-cared for, and on the ocean. It was worth the stay and we'd recommend it to all our family and friends!

The host and the on island representative were very responsive when I communicated with them. The kitchen was fully stocked and the air conditioner was great to have. The beach was wonderful.

This location was perfect in Kihei to get to all parts of Maui. The listing was just as advertised and worked perfectly for us. Loved that we had laundry in the unit and the balcony to sit out for breakfast each day. The AC was also very welcome and perfect for sleeping.

Well maintained property with lots of beach gear. Kitchen is well equipped with lots of plates, bowls, utensils for 2 or more people.The ice maker actually works! The view is superb with great views of the ocean, outrigger canoes in the morning and easy access to the beach.We have one minor complaint and that is the hot water for the bathroom sink and kitchen is slow to warm up. Not sure why as the shower is fine. We hope to come back next year for another wonderful stay!

The place was outstanding and very clean and beautiful!

This incredible condo was right on the ocean. It was clean and was filled with everything you could possibly need to cook with, or head to the beach with like beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. We spent every morning drinking our coffee on the lanai listening to the ocean and watching the waves. The owner sent lots of information of things to do and places to eat prior to our arrival. It was a wonderful place to stay, I definitely would stay here again!

We enjoyed sitting out on the lanai each day and watching the ocean. The lichen/family room area was small but worked for the two of us. King size bed was nice, but the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable. Overall, an excellent stay!

We stayed for 9 nights. The condo was lovely, clean and had everything we needed and more. We appreciated that there is a restaurant/bar on site. Great food and drinks! Pool was nice and clean. We will be back!

This is a wonderful VRBO and the pics are spot on. We stay in lots of short term rentals and this unit was exceptional. Very well stocked with everything you could need. Little touches like lots of hooks in bathroom and bedroom to hang clothes/towels. Kitchen very well stocked. Location is ideal for visiting Maui. The property is wonderful with miles of beach to walk right outside your door.

Beautifully renovated and updated unit at the lovely Sugar Beach Resort. Perfect location on the island and so rare to get such a beautiful unit with a full ocean view, beach access, AC, and in unit washer dryer. The unit is stocked with everything you could need. Do not hesitate to book!

The unit we used is updated and all key features worked well. The view from the lanai is spectacular. The AC worked very well. We enjoyed the hot tub and the pool. Having miles of sandy beach to explore is a big plus.

We had a great week at the condo. The location was perfect for traveling to all parts of Maui. The condo was clean and well-stocked with everything down to toilet paper/paper towels/shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/etc. The only part we found a little odd was there was no extra door to the bedroom, you had to go through the sliding door in the bathroom. So, as we traveled with kids, when the bathroom was occupied, the bedroom was not accessible. Pictures did show the sliding bathroom door, but we did assume the layout also included a bedroom door. Not something the owner could fix, but the outside of the building itself could use some paint and refreshing. Lots of scuffs on the exterior walls and doors. Beachside landscaping and pool area was very nice and made up for it though. Overall a pleasant stay, thank you for your hospitality!

My husband and I always enjoy our stay at Sugar Beach, but we really enjoyed our stay in this unit that had an excellent view of the ocean, especially at sunset. It was exceptional! Clean unit and had everything we needed.

We loved everything about it. It was a great updated space with a balcony right on the beach. The rooms were clean and everything we needed was suppled. The location was great. The beach was not crowded, and we were centrally located for everywhere we wanted to go. For the outside, the pool was nice. The lawn area with the lounge chairs, which is next to the sand, was very nice for the windy afternoons. We would definitely recommend this property.

Convenient location for many things. Condo is set up nicely, its very comfortable, nicely renovated. It was nice to have the beach chairs and beach towels to use. Beautiful view right from the lanai.

It was perfect for our 25th Wedding anniversary. Spent our first day around Sugar Beach taking in the beautiful view and the sunset from the Lani. It was centrally located for us to do things on both ends of the island on different days. We booked a helicopter tour and then visited Merrimans for dinner. The next night went to Hana and then had dinner at Momma's Fish House. Larrissa was amazing with communications. Would stay here again. Cris P.S. the remote for the TV, Yes it does work.

We stayed at this VRBO after a hectic and very busy with son, daughter-in-law and three grandchildren in the Makena. This relaxing four day stay was just what the doctor ordered. We weren't even bothered by the high winds that were prevalent during our stay. The only "first world" concern was the fact that we had to continually re-boot our computers and phone to access the internet. This is a great location to explore Maui all the way from Wailia to Kapalua!

We loved our stay here! The location was great for having easy access to everything we wanted to do (Haleakala sunrise, snorkeling, Road to Hana, etc.) The condo was clean and had everything we needed to prepare meals which saved us money. The hot tub was a fun place to talk with people from all over. It was a great experience! Highly recommend!

Not only does this condo have a beautiful view of the beach, it offers a central location to all the spots we wanted to visit on Maui. The beach chairs and umbrella made time on the beach very relaxing. The condo itself was clean and had all the items needed for a comfortable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was as advertised, clean and nicely appointed. This was our first stay down in Kehei. We really loved taking long walks on the beach and staring out at the ocean from our balcony. Thanks!

All was good except for hot water and the TV remote for local stations. On two occasions there was no hot water and when there was you had to run the water up to two minutes to get hot water. The TV remote (Spectrum) was non-functional 90% of the time. Not a great problem as we did not come up to watch TV.

The condo is nice, clean, and well stocked with cooking accessories. The view from the balcony is amazing. We had a great stay!

This place catches the trade winds so was a bit blowy in the afternoons. Other than that it was fabulous and location wise, other than the wind, it’s a great central spot to be wherever you need to be in 40 mins max. Great apartment.
