This condo is in a perfect spot for incredible views, including sunsets. It’s on the top floor (6) and facing the perfect direction. One delightful surprise was the ability to go snorkeling right outside the condo. There are rocky areas between the three Kamaole beaches, and we saw zillions of tropical fish along with sea turtles. Snorkel/boogie board/surf board rentals are all just a quick walk away. Our daughters took surf lessons in a cove that was about a mile up the road. The condo building is fine, a little dated but maintained with two elevators that we didn’t have to wait long for, and the condo has been updated. We didn’t cook but it appeared the kitchen is stocked with basics. We ate most dinners at the Wailea resorts, a quick drive away (10 mins). We also ordered carry out food from the Coconut restaurant across the street and enjoyed a sunset dinner on the lanai. One downside to the lanai is the air conditioning unit is out there and blows hot air. It makes part of the small lanai not as usable. However we appreciated having the AC and the condo was always a really comfortable temperature. The Ali’i staff was friendly and responsive when we had an issue with the dishwasher. We are already considering going back to Maui and staying in the same condo if we are lucky enough to get it.
Great location with several restaurants/shops in walking distance. The view from our 6th floor was amazing.
We loved staying at this place. Perfect fit for two adults and three kids. The location may be the best in all of Kihei- easy walking distance to multiple beaches, restaurants, shops, etc. This place is so relaxing, perfect for morning coffee sessions and evening sunsets in the water. Kihei is so nostalgic for our family and we loved our time staying here. We'll definitely be back!!
The Condo was clean and the view was fantastic. The air conditioning was great. Beds firm but very comfortable. We were disappointing in the small amount of silverware and dishes. The furniture on the lanai was not what was pictured on the website. The furniture on the website was more lounge and comfortable looking. The furniture there was plastic bamboo, elevated and uncomfortable. The management company that was taking care of the condo was very attentive.

This unit did not disappoint at all. Perfect accommodations for a family of 5. Comfortable beds and nice kitchen amenities. ACs worked perfectly. It’s great to stay at a place where you can snorkel just outside your door and see so many turtles.
Nice property as older condominiums in this area of Maui go. Our room on the sixth floor had a great view of the beach and ocean. The suite was very nice with two bedrooms, main living room and a kitchen. Everything was as advertised. We did have a couple of problems that were never resolved while we were there. The dishwasher never worked but because we didn't report it until the second day (we spent two days trying to get it to work), the owner would only give us a small credit for the last 4 days of our stay. There were nice televisions in the main living room and each of the bedrooms, however they were difficult to operate and had no instructions. Despite the tech coming to our room a couple of times, the bedroom TV's never worked and the main room TV was in and out of service. Note: The air conditioning to the unit has been added post-original construction, with the air handling unit placed on the balcony. It did blow hot air on you if you sat anywhere on that side of the balcony.
Overall our family had a good stay at this property for a week. Very nice location that has direct access to the beach and just across the street for good restaurants and grocery store; condo building is very well maintained and is very clean; beautiful view from living room or just sitting on the balcony; tiled floor is very clean; property management office was very responsive etc. But two things prevent us from giving it a five star: first: the dishwasher racks were covered by mold the first time when we opened it, and it took a couple of days for the management office to diagnose and fix the malfunctioned heating panel and disinfect it; second, a couple of dining plates and bowls have chips on the edge and they should have been replaced.
The view, beach and roof top are amazing. The management was great. The condo needs to be refreshed with a complete set of dishes and silverware, additional wine glasses and replacing a lanai chair. We stayed in a nicer one for less before. It would be nice to have a chair in the living area as well.
The property managers of this condo are outstanding! The beach chairs needed replacing - done within hours. The coffee pot broke - brand new, in the box coffee maker delivered while we sat on the beach. Wow! Great service! Their communication with us was exceptional. Note they do not have any beach umbrellas, but there is a local company that will rent you one for the week (about the same cost as buying one at Costco honestly, but who has the luggage space to haul a beach umbrella). The unit itself is a bit small but adequate for 4 adults for a week. Rooms are tight. A single couch, so if you're watching the Olympics someone is sitting on a kitchen chair. Bathrooms are not ensuites - but close proximity to the bedrooms. The kitchen is functional for 1 person to cook. Good supplies - though a 9x13 casserole dish would be a nice addition. The unit itself is actually perpendicular to the beach - facing north. To watch the sunset in February, we had to go up onto the roof garden... Which is a fabulous area! The roof garden has multiple tables and chairs for relaxing or dining, barbecues (at least 4, but I didn't count), and tremendous views of the ocean, Haleakala, and the West Maui Mountains. Definitely worth checking out. There is are some convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance. I would also recommend using their car rental service as that was super convenient to pick up the car in the airport parking lot - and drop it off there as well. Saved us the time/hastle of going to the car rental building.
