Sweeping ocean views, refined island interiors, and a lanai so good you will reorganize your entire day around it. Once you experience it, you will understand why Maui has a way of calling people back.
The lanai is where the magic begins. Accessed from both the living room and the primary bedroom, it is generously sized and furnished with comfortable outdoor seating, cooled by an outdoor ceiling fan, and positioned perfectly to catch every shade of gold and rose that Maui's legendary sunsets have to offer. Morning coffee here feels like a ceremony. Evening cocktails feel like a celebration. And everything in between feels like exactly where you are supposed to be.
Inside, the open and spacious kitchen is as beautiful as it is functional. Gleaming tile floors, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops set the scene, while a cooking range and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, and full set of cookware and dishes make preparing meals at home an absolute pleasure. Bar seating for three keeps the energy social and connected, so no one ever has to miss the conversation.
The living room wraps you in comfort with central AC, a flatscreen TV, and a generous L shaped full size sleeper sofa that makes the space feel both luxurious and effortlessly livable. This is the kind of room you sink into after a day at the beach and never want to leave.
The primary bedroom is nothing short of extraordinary. A king bed faces a window that frames panoramic views of the rolling Pacific and Maui's breathtaking sunsets like a living painting. The en suite bathroom takes things even further, with a circular vessel sink, a large glass shower with a detachable shower head and surrounding jets, and updated finishes that feel more luxury spa than vacation rental. You will take longer showers here. That is simply a fact.
The second bedroom is warm, inviting, and thoughtfully appointed with a queen bed, ceiling fan, ample closet space, a large flatscreen TV, and its own beautifully tiled private bathroom. Every guest in your group deserves their own sense of comfort and privacy, and this room delivers exactly that.

Walk and snorkel right outside the place. Shops and restaurants all near by. Kitchen amenities were adequate. We bought additional spices and cooked in a few times. A floor mat by the kitchen sink would be nice as well as cleaning supplies and a kitchen sink wash cloth. The floors could use a good scrubbing especially the base boards and corners. Dryer softener sheets would have been nice , but great to have in unit washer/dryer. No need for a rental car- Uber was great. Love love love the town of Kihei!!! Quaint and unpretentious. We would rent this unit again, for sure.

The view from the master blew us away. Hearing the waves crash against the shore every morning was the best way to wake up. The Hawaiian Moons across the street was awesome for coffees and sandwiches and healthy snacks and there were a ton of food trucks nearby. We ate very well 😜. Don’t miss the farmers market on Saturday mornings...hands down the best tamales we’ve ever had!

Great location. Easy short walks to pretty much anything you need. Or an easy drive out to explore the island. Great beach right outside the door. And great food in the area.
Great location but need new carpet
I have stayed in a few of the units here. It's always just me and one other friend and enjoy the separate bedrooms and bathrooms for space and privacy. This unit is comfortable and fun with everything you could ever want or need. King beds in both rooms and they are both amazingly comfortable. Was surprised there was no dining table or chairs. There are stools and a counter. Overall it is a great unit in the ways that matter! I will be back.
We have stayed and numerous units in this complex over the last 20+ years. The owners have done a great job making use of the space with the upgrades they have done. The furnishings were nice, though we would have appreciated one more comfortable chair in the common area. Wonderful views of the ocean, W Maui mountains and Kam I. Sadly the unit had problems when we arrived. It was not as clean as we would have liked. I actually washed off the kitchen screen in the shower because you could hardly see out of it. Top of frig was covered in dust. There was a bottle cap in the garbage disposal. The washing machine did not work for our first 3 days. The linen situation was scant. There was not a bath mat to step out of the tub on in the guest bath. There were only 2 kitchen towels, so we needed to wash them frequently. One of the beds had a waterproof mattress pad like you would use for those with incontinence problems, which we had never encountered before. The beach umbrellas were broken. Fortunately, the management company responded immediately to our concerns and were friendly and efficient.
Great location, whales were in abundance this time of year. Small issues with television remotes were handled very promptly(Super Bowl weekend), the kitchen area could use a deep clean.
Condo is comfortable / perfectly located but is in need of a deep cleaning and updates to some of the furniture. We have stayed at multiple Royal Mauian units and found this property to be very nice but not one we would rush to return to unless certain things were addressed.
