New! Palms 702 - Romantic Retreat - Split AC in Bedroom - Open-Air Living Area

We stay on Maui twice a year for my work and usually stay at Maui Kamaole. We were greatly disappointed that the unit does not have A/C in the living area just the bedroom. This needs to be listed in the description of the property. The property was clean but not perfect. There are a lot of small things that need to be addressed like the bedroom door being very hard to open and close. Plaster on the wall have areas that need to be addressed and touched up with paint. Shower heads are super high up the wall; my 5' wife was unable to reach it. Lowes has 12" extensions very reasonable. We would rent it again with these fixes. It is in a great Wailea neighborhood.

Great vacation. Appreciate the cleanliness of the unit and updated. Love staying at the Palms and this unit was a hit.

Tucked back in a quiet corner, with the ocean still visible. The unit was as described and it appears the owners are trying to update it with new furniture and some new appliances. The unit its self could use some TLC. It was clean but shows it is well loved. The mattress on the pullout couch was actually quite comfortable while the master bed was extremely firm and would benefit from a topper unless firm is what you prefer. Kitchen was well stocked and beach accessories were available.

Lots of great things to say about this place but most importantly it felt like home away from home. Super! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful space and we hope to return one day in the future!

Host Ian and Jen were amazing. Problem solved fans for den (air only in bedroom) they checked on us to ensure if we needed anything. Perfect location, balcony very nice, bed comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed every moment of our time there. It was nice and quiet and in our favorite location on the island. The condo was well equipped and we had everything we needed for our week in paradise! The propery management was absolutely wonderful to deal with from start to finish! Thank you for everything!

Clean property with great communication!

This felt like a home away from home. The condo was very clean when we arrived and I felt comfortable letting my two young kiddos walk around barefoot. The lanai was equipped with comfy and convenient patio furniture. The beach gear provided was beyond helpful and went to good use. The location was quiet and remote, just close enough to the pool to have an easy walk without the noise. I felt the host was commutative and helpful especially during the tsunami warning we received during our travels, we felt safe and secure the entirety of the trip. We can't wait to come back !

Perfect size for a couple. Great location - away from all the crowds. A quick ride to great beaches. The bedroom A/C is perfect for sleeping. We stayed in early July for two weeks so the Condo did get hot but we used the fans; spent most of our time outside anyways. The beach gear provided was perfect. Host responded via email within hours. Would stay again.

The property was great but no air conditioning in the living area was extremely warm and uncomfortable. That is the main reason i would not rent this condo again. Also the showers need grab bars, the deck sliding door has no outside handle,some of the dishes in the cabinet were dirty and needed cleaning before using. otherwise the place was very nice..the air conditioning was the big problem.

We loved this area. It’s close to numerous beaches & Kihei restaurants start 3 minutes south of here. The grounds were beautifully landscaped & the area very quiet. The pool is close by, a short walk across from this unit. They included beach chairs & umbrella which were very helpful to extend your stay down at the beach. The deck at the condo was large & you have a small view of the ocean & good sunset views. This area warrants a repeat stay.

Loved this place! Very spacious and in a quiet area, but not far from the beach or restaurants.

We love staying at the Palms of Wailea when we visit Maui. We love the location. Pool was great. Unit is a little worn, needs some TLC. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner.

My wife and I stayed for a week and it was perfectly suited to our needs. Easy to drive to from the airport, great location just a short drive from beaches and shopping. Steps away from the pool which was very convenient! Only downside would be needed to use the communal grill as there was no bbq on the patio; definitely not a dealbreaker! This was a great rental for the two of us, and would recommend for couples or a small family.

Nice place for a couple to stay, unit could use bathroom renovation. Good area to stay with great kid friendly beach 10 minutes walk away. Palms is a beautiful property

We loved our condo! Perfect location, wonderful pool and our condo was spacious. It had all of the amenities to make our stay enjoyable.

This was a very quiet, well stocked, beautiful condo. We were pleasantly surprised to be able to see the ocean from the balcony! The bed was very comfortable. The unit was clean. The location was great. We walked to the shops and down to the beach path several times. It was a relaxing stay and we look forward to booking again.

Awesome place. Clean and spacious. Walking distance to Keawakapu beach (if you don't wanna drive). A great, reasonably priced for Wailea. We'd definitely love to visit it again.

The condo was exactly as described. Wonderful location walking distance to the Wailea beaches and walking path and all the top hotels and attractions. The Palms is a great community with beautiful pool overlooking the ocean, gorgeous landscaping, and everyone was so friendly!!

The condo is as described with all the things (and more) that made for a pleasurable stay. Airy layout with lots of windows and an ocean view from lanai. Unit is clean and comfortable located in a quiet residential community. Nice pool right across the parking lot. Basic soap, paper products and many towels were much appreciated. Communication was fantastic. Our stay would have been more enjoyable with: Community map and service overview, pool hrs, etc., Tips on getting to the nearest beach (short drive to beach, restaurants, etc). Replacing sliding doors and updating a few other fixtures. Instructions for operating bedroom a/c unit. Kitchen garbage can with a secure lid. The living area is comfortable early in the day and when the wind is blowing in afternoon and evening but gets very warm other times. The cleaning fee is steep relative to the unit size. We enjoyed ourselves here and Mahola Vacation Maui Team!

Very roomy condo. Nice big lanai for relaxing. Pool close by. Condo was clean, had everything that the listing offered. Bed was comfortable and nice sheets. Only couple of take backs we would say is it only has AC in the bedroom so keep that in mind. There was also a couple geckos staying with us, and we started noticing more ants at the end of our staying primarily in the master bathroom. But I know this is common for Hawaii. Overall happy with our stay!
