The Maui Ocean Center in Maalaea is about 12 miles away for a good family outing beyond the sand. Back at the cottage, air conditioning and a washer and dryer make returning from a sunny day feel easy. This is for the family or couple who wants South Maui access without staying in the middle of the busiest stretch.
The Space:
This remodeled two-bedroom cottage sleeps five and makes its best first impression from the covered ocean-view lanai. Inside, a sleek kitchen and comfortable living area with a 65-inch smart TV make downtime simple, while air conditioning cools the home after the beach. The yard, in-home washer and dryer, and separate home setting add welcome breathing room.
Guest Access:
This Maui Meadows cottage in Kihei offers a private entrance and its own garden or backyard space to enjoy. Guests have in unit laundry and a lit path to the entrance for easy evening arrivals. It sits near the ocean, with local shopping and museums close by.
The Neighborhood:
Maui Meadows sits above South Kihei, giving you a calmer residential perch with beaches, dining, and Wailea still close at hand. Keawakapu Beach is a favorite nearby stretch for soft sand and clear water, while the Kamaole Beach Parks offer classic Kihei swim-and-play days. Wailea's golf courses are about two miles away, and South Kihei Road brings coffee, casual food, and groceries into the mix. It is a good choice for guests who want beach access and sunset drives without being right in the middle of the resort scene.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.
Other Things to Note:
Access: this single level home is accessed via five steps at the entryway. The washer/dryer is located outside below the deck. Please note a long term tenant lives in a separate house at the back of the property, approximately 75 feet behind this vacation rental, and the driveway is shared. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.

Beautiful place! Quiet neighborhood and close to local stores, eateries and beaches.
It has everything it needs for a comfortable stay. Many food options nearby. Quiet and comfortable. Mostly everything is new and in great condition

Place is great for families. 5 adults is the max this place can comfortably accommodate. Lovely location and property overall.
Second year we have stayed here. Very quiet on dead end street in Maui Meadows. Beautiful view. Really no issues at all. Will stay here again next year when we return to Maui!
We stayed here for 5 nights with our two littles. It was a great experience. The house was perfectly prepared for us - nicely remodeled and decorated. The views from the lanai were beautiful. We enjoyed early morning coffee and sunset dinners. The kitchen had everything we needed and we enjoyed a family movie each evening. It's perfectly located and we would most definitely come back. Very comfortable and a great location. We enjoyed our stay.
Everything was clean and thoughtful except we missed not having a dining table with chairs or even one chair in the entire cottage. It was difficult eating or working with a computer on the trunk-like coffee table with no place for the legs. Other than that, we recommend this place. Eugene and Renate Pires
Good location (Maui Meadows), quiet, clean, lots of light, comfortable & durable furniture, kitchen & beach equipment, etc.
This small cottage was a perfect spot for our family. We loved being in a neighborhood in a great location. Ulua beach is just down the hill and so is great food and restaurants!! The place is clean and the beds are super comfy.
Great location and size for our stay. Clean. The welcome goodie bag was such a nice touch.
