Nice small place for only 2 people and reasonable price. Love the area
I selected this property over less expensive options because it advertised hotel-style support with a staffed front desk. Traveling with my daughter, I was willing to pay more for the peace of mind of having assistance available if needed. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met. Our first impression was disappointing. We arrived early and were told we’d receive a text when the room was ready. After returning later and waiting in the lobby, we saw housekeeping leave the floor. Eventually, the front desk employee, Mary, slid the keys across the counter and motioned for us to come over. There was no welcome, no effort.We were simply handed keys and sent on our way. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers were empty. I reported it through VRBO and was told someone would refill them. Four days later, they were still empty. Before booking, I specifically confirmed that beach towels and beach chairs were provided. We received towels but no chairs and were later told they were unavailable. This was one of the reasons we chose this property. The location is excellent, but the customer service and lack of follow-through were disappointing. I was also told laundry detergent would be provided free of charge, but it was not available until 8:30 p.m. the night before checkout. Guests should also be aware that the laundry facilities cost 3 per load to use. Sometimes paying more for a piece of mind isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.
Great location, perfect access to everything, clean, accommodating. No complaints.Parking onsite was a must. We were not aware we could pay for it/reserve it ahead of time. We lucked out and they had some available. Weather we missed it when we reserved it, I don’t know. They handled it quick at check in though. That was the only hiccup during our whole stay. Would 100% stay again.
Loved how the room came with a kitchenette and how it came with extra towels, toilet paper and paper toilet. Parking was easy, clean and also secure. Host reached out even when we forgot to check in through VRBO. We didn’t really utilize the pool since the beach was steps away from the hotel.
Nice small room in a great location. Steps from the beach, restaurants, and free parking. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Room was not ready at the 3pm check in time. Roosters are nearby outside for morning alerts.
