Direct Oceanfront - Magic Sands Beach!

Charlie was a great host and the place was perfect. All of the amenities were provided making it a stress free vacation for us. The location was great for us, close enough to downtown but far enough away that we didn't deal with the noise and congestion. Listening to the waves at night were a great way to unwind from a long day of doing nothing but watching the clouds roll by. Great place, don't hesitate, book it.

The host was welcoming. Location, location, location. The studio condo is connected to Magic Sands Grill and a beautiful white sand beach. Beach gear provided, 2 low back beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and snorkeling gear.

Staying at this oceanfront condo was pure magic. Each morning, I woke to the soothing rhythm of ocean waves and the soft chorus of island birds. The lanai felt like a private perch over the Pacific, where I could watch the waves roll in and spot fish and turtles right from the shore. Inside, the condo was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything needed for a relaxed stay. The location made it easy to explore Kona’s shops, beaches, and scenic drives, yet it still felt like a peaceful retreat away from the crowds. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and waking up to nature’s soundtrack was an unforgettable experience.I must thank for all the facilities and amenities offered within the condo.

The property was fantastic, and an unbeatable location! The communication with the host was also a spot on, as well. Very highly recommended!

The place had an amazing view and was well stocked with whatever we needed for our stay. It is close to many fun places and was perfect for our visit when we came to Kona to do the night snorkel with Manta rays. It’s a small space, but was nicely decorated and very thoughtfully equipped with an amazing view. You can hear the ocean as you fall asleep! Very nice overall.

The condo was as advertised and did not disappoint. We loved the ocean front location and beautiful sunset views. We liked that the unit was very well stocked and had beach snorkel gear, chairs, etc. The kitchen and bath were nicely updated. We also liked the close proximity to some nice beaches and being not too far from downtown Kona. It was also good having the restaurant attached to the building and overlooking the ocean and beach. We would definitely come here again.

This spot was a perfect place to end my stay on the Big Island. Right next to Magic Sands, it gave me a little extra time to spend at the beach on the morning I left. Charlie also stocks you up with the extra condiments you need so you don’t have to go out and buy things like salt or hot sauce, or even shampoo conditioner (the toiletries available on site are actually high quality). I’d for sure stay here again.

The pictures are accurate. We have never stayed at a VRBO that was better stocked than Magic Sands. Large fridge, full modern kitchen, all kinds of condiments, about every kind of spice you can imagine, nice cookware, boogie boards, a couple beach stairs, towels galore, excellent shower with soap and shampoo and conditioner, and fabulous oceanfront crashing waves to sleep by. Not to mention the best reserved parking spot and a great oceanfront restaurant and bar steps away where you can watch the endless body surfing and the sunset. From the easiest check-in to the attentive host Charlie, we were delighted with our stay. Would return in a heartbeat. Mahalo, Charlie!

We enjoyed our stay at this very conveniently located and well-appointed condo. From the cookware and plates and glassware to all the beach toys, snorkeling gear and beach chairs, we had everything we needed to enjoy the area. Plus, it was very clean and efficiently laid out. Charlie was very communicative and responsive. The area is quiet and the sunset views are awesome.

I will definitely be coming back to this location. Such a tastefully decorated condo with gorgeous views and great convenience with the restaurant and beach next door, great location for walking and bike rentals across the street. Very cozy bed and the pounding waves at night were a dream.

My friend and I stayed three nights at the property. It is far enough away from downtown Kona, yet close enough to ride bikes and take the trolley. The beach next to the property was not swimmable while we were staying, due to high surf, but it had great views and we even saw whales one day. Inside the property is clean and updated. A good place to stay.
