Outstanding Oceanfront 🌅 Deluxe Condo! ✨ Kona Reef D-14

My only criticism was the grills. They didnt seem to get hot enough and took forever to grill the food.

It was a great stay. Location was excellent and the unit had all you need and then some.

The condo was nicely equipped and the bed was comfortable but the condo was not deeply cleaned. There was brown dust along all of the top kitchen cabinets and dust hanging from the metal fish sculpture on the wall. The bathroom needs updating. The internet was terrible and we had to use our hot spots. We have stayed in this complex many, many times and never had trouble with internet before.

Had a fantastic stay at Kona Reef. This condo was very clean, well stocked, and really had everything we needed. The location was perfect, and we especially loved sitting on the lanai and looking out at the ocean and listening to the waves. From the moment we booked it to the moment we checked out, communication from the rental agency was excellent. Thank you for the great stay! Will definitely be back next trip to the Big Island!

Easy to check in, clear communication and the location and view could not be better. I’ve stayed here the last 2 years and it’s the perfect spot.

Communication with the host (management company) was excellent before, during and after our stay. All amenities listed were available and made for a pleasant stay.The one air conditioner (wall unit) in the condo is located in the living room. The A/C was barely adequate for cooling the bedroom. Fortunately, there was a fan available to direct air flow to the bedroom for sleeping at night. This is not a deal breaker for us and we would stay here again.

The beach front condo we stayed in was wonderful. The location was perfect and the beach view was amazing to be able to view sunrise & sunsets from. The furniture & bed were comfortable, place was very clean and was overall a great stay! We said we will actually be staying in the same place again when we return to Kona!

Overall a nice unit. Had a good stay here, looking out at the ocean while sitting on the lanai is ideal. Nice pool and BBQ area and easy to walk into town.The only negative I have is the shower doors in the bathroom are worn out and need replaced, i was worried they would fall off.

View off the balcony is all you need. Clean, walked to restaurants, parking was easy, pool and hot tub were great.

All was good except-mattress in the bedroom was soft and umcomfortable to sleep on. Suggest replacing.

The property was everything that I could imagine it to be from the layout in the Vrbo app. It was so bright, and the view from the balcony was more than I could ask for.

Condo was clean and well stocked with everything we would need. Everything worked and was very conveniently located. Close but not too close to all of the action. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed including many supplies we assumed had been left by other guests. There were plenty of linens including beach towels. There was even snorkeling equipment including masks, snorkels, fins and pool noodles. Even a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Clean comfortable with extra amenities like the coffee and cookies and pantry with seasonings for cooking and plenty of bathroom supplies including shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. The chairs and umbrella came in handy, but there were even snorkeling supplies we didn’t even get to use. Over all it was more than expected. Thank you.

Just as described in the listing. I’m writing this on our last morning here and hate to leave! Location- oceanfront, perfect!Walking distance to shops and restaurants.Cleanliness- no complaints and I’m picky! Maybe a little outdated like a couple people said, but who cares, it’s clean. Well stocked with anything and everything. Including beach chairs on the balcony, snorkel equipment, beach towels, etc. Kitchen well stocked with everything one would need and more. Check in process super easy. Convenient parking outside or under the covered parking garage.Customer service great if I had any questions at all. Balcony with table and 4 chairs-our favorite place to watch and listen to the ocean. Overall, 5 plus stars and I would highly recommend and hope to come back here again. A simple and more than adequate space, but the music of the ocean was soothing morning and especially at night. Will miss the lullaby of water and waves.

Overall we loved our stay here. The view is stunning with full ocean view and sunsets every evening. Location is great being close to town. It was stocked well with most things we needed for our stay. There were some minor issues - toaster not working, one burner on the stove didn’t work and beach supplies were limited. There are now a couple of beach chairs and umbrella that we left. We would stay here again.

The property couldn’t be any better. Close to shopping and restaurants. It has everything you need. Unbelievable view of the ocean with the crashing waves and sunsets. Loved it. I just wish I was there for longer.

There was not enough of things that are usually provided, trash bags, soap. Also the TV was not very good because it had password restrictions that were not available. Also only one rusty beach chair, no umbrella. We won’t stay here again

Great proximity to downtown Kona!! I’ve stayed at the Kona Reef about 5 times and highly recommend the oceanfront condos. I don’t care for the bottom level due to lack of security and privacy.

I love to see waves crashing on the shore. The view was even better than your photos. The location was great, we walked to shops and restaurants. (Royal Kona) Happy Hour. (

Enjoyed our time at Kona Reef. Great place for our Hawaii vacation. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Kitchen was well equipped and nice grills by the pool.

This was a fantastic property to stay at for our trip to Kona! The view and location facing the ocean made for beautiful mornings with a cup of coffee and gorgeous sunsets with a glass of wine! The condo was clean and had everything we could need for our week stay. We will definitely book here again when we come back to visit!

Wow! What a view! Enjoyed the view even night we watched the sunset.

We were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked this home was. The views are amazing, the bed was comfortable and you can’t beat the location. We hardly used our rental car as we could walk to most anywhere we wanted to go. Bbq area with tables and prep area was a real treat for our evening meals. Pool was also nice. Property management company was very responsive. Can’t wait to come back again! Mahalo

Loved our stay. Amazing view, easy parking, and short walk to Kona restaurants.

The condo overall was cozy and clean, with the windows exception of the bathtub. It’s dated and doesn’t look very cleanable. The most frustrating thing was we were given 3/4 roll of toilet paper with no extra so had to run to the store. There were no coffee filters, so again ran to the store. The seasonings were also old and mostly unusable.

Great location condo, view of the ocean was amazing. We had coffee on the patio every morning while watching the surfers and the waves crash. Easy and short walk to downtown Kona. Parking at the complex was easy, unit had everything we needed including beach items. Would stay here again.

The best part of this condo was watching the surfers while eating breakfast on the Lanai.

The view is amazing. The condo was clean, well appointed and the king bed was comfortable.

The condo had everything that was needed (check all the closets and drawers!), was quiet, and close enough to town for convenience and peace. Loved being right on the ocean! I slept on the sofa bed with the screen door open every night 😊 I especially appreciated the Brita water pitcher which ensured fresh cold water at all times! Highly recommended.

quiet complex...with lovely view of the ocean...we fell asleep to the sounds of the sea...we were able to walk everywhere and took the complimentary trolley when needed before renting our car to tour the rest of the island...the unit was decorated in such a happy island theme... and the only negative was the bathroom tub shower...it needs repair or replacement...it felt unsanitary... we would stay again...and have already recommend it to friends and family.

Overall, if the site would let me, I’d give a 4.5. The Kona Reef complex is perfect, right next to a small sandy beach plus super close to walk to restaurants and shops in the town. This unit, on the 2nd floor is a great location within the complex. It was easy to get to the ocean-front grass area, the parking lot, and the pool area. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. We really appreciated the pantry items like spices, plastic wrap, etc. Communication with the management company was quick via text.

Property is clean and conveniently located near downtown Kona. Easy parking and INCREDIBLE VIEWS! We saw Whales, Dolpins, fish and Amazing Sunsets

The condo is in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. Condo is furnished nicely. You will not beat the lanai and the view of the water. We would definitely consider this location on future trips.

This was almost a perfect place to stay for me and my wife. It is right on the ocean and an easy walk to town. Great sunsets right from the deck. The place shows its age, but everything was functional. You can keep to yourself at the complex or bensocial.
