Kona Reef Resort - Absolute Oceanfront Condominium

Great view, clean and well provided condo. Easy walking to great restaurants.

The view from this condo is incredible! The waves break on the rocks and serenaded us during breakfast while we watched the canoe club paddle past. The condo is well-equipped for the beach next door with towels, chairs, umbrellas, and some snorkeling equipment. Plenty of kitchen equipment, etc with 4 BBQ’s by the pool if you want to do some outdoor grilling. Comfy sofa for TV watching. We had one self-imposed glitch during our stay and Cindy was just a quick text away and worked with us for a quick solution. We’d stay here again!

Host very kind and quick response, condo was well appointed, location ideal, parking easy, all in all a wonderful rental!

ALOHA... We liked the oceanfront balcony above the crashing waves. The location (close to town) and the view are definite highlights. Parking is easy and the pool is great!

The fantastic view is only enhanced by the warmth and thoughtfulness of the unit. Most everything you cud think to need is here. Good property perks,views and Hon’ls beach next door. So hard to choose sight seeing the island or just relaxing on your private oceanfront lanai. Lots of both! Communication w owners clear. When can I come back?

Can’t say enough great things about this condo! It was clean, decorated nicely and so well stocked! Most of all though the location is fantastic and the view is amazing! We enjoyed many meals/drinks on the balcony while watching the sunset

We love the Kona Reef and this was a wonderful unit.

We adored this property. Friendly host, well appointed kitchen, incredible coastal views of Whales, fish, dolphins, and surfers. The daily sunsets were breathgaking

This is the 7th time we have stayed in this condo. So, yes, we love it. Amazing view/location, sparkly clean, well-equipped kitchen, accommodating, easy to work with host.

My favorite place on the Big Island! Everything needed is there. Perfect place to go and relax!

Clean, air conditioned, stocked with whatever one would need to experience the beach and cook etc. Can’t think of anything that needs improvement

We loved our stay here - when you travel halfway across the world, it has to be worthwhile and this did not disappoint! The location is perfect, walkable to so many places to eat, drjnk, shop with the beach right on the doorstep, while still being super peaceful. We loved watching surfers in the mornings and sunsets in the evenings. The apartment was equipped with everything we could possibly need, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if we venture to the Big Island again in future.

The view from the lanai is spectacular. Having formerly lived in Hawaii and visiting nearly year, we have not seen a more fantastic view. Highly recommend this unit if you enjoy surf, waves and the beauty of the ocean.

This gem is everything you want for your Hawaiian vacation. There may be equal views on the Kona Coast but there are none better. And you are an easy walk into town, to restaurants, the farmers market, etc. The owners are easy to work with. Would give more than 5 stars.

I have been to Hawaii multiple times and this condo is superbly located. I could whale watch from the lanai. I watched the boogie boarders, surfers, swimmers, kayakers, & various boats from the lanai. I even spotted a turtle. Not to mention the wonderful sunsets. We never turned on the TV. All the amenities were there. We could walk to the restaurants and shops. We especially liked having dinner on the lanai as the sun set.

We loved our stay at Kona Reef. The condo had everything we needed, location was great, and oceanfront view could not have been better. The nightly sunset ritual, complete with the blowing of the conch shells, was magical. Thanks to Cindy and Bart for the hospitality!
