The Space:

It is a straightforward, comfortable interior built around spending more of the day outside.
Guest Access:
Guests at Sugar Beach Resort enjoy access to the shared communal pool, hot tub, and BBQ grills right along the shore in Kihei. The building offers an elevator, disabled parking spot, and accessible-height features for easy access. Beach access and landscaped grounds with a garden round out the on-site amenities.
The Neighborhood:
From Sugar Beach, North Kihei opens up both sides of South Maui. Walk the sand in the morning, visit Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge when you want birds and open space, or head toward Maalaea Harbor for a boat trip and the Maui Ocean Center. South Kihei brings a different energy, with cafés, markets, and the beach parks around Kamaole Beach Park III. The appeal here is having those choices while staying on a quieter part of the coast.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Beach and ocean view were great, room had updated utensils and some updated furniture than the pictures. The doors can get an minor update. Overall it was a great price and great room
The condo was clean and kitchen was nicely stocked. Table inside and on patio for meals. Patio was just steps to the beach. Beautiful views, quiet area. Close to the pool, which has a view of the ocean. Plenty of lounge chairs in pool area. Also has a sauna and hot tub in pool area. Nice clean grounds. Would definitely stay there again.
5 star for location. 2-3 stars for the condo. This condo needs to have an overhaul of the kitchen. There are no matching pots/pans, some had lids, some didn’t. Nothing was organized or together. The one pan I cooked in was so old I had to keep putting butter in it so the food wouldn’t stick.We had ants so bad for almost the 2 week of our stay and that was us being proactive about keeping food away/sealed. I’ve never experienced that in all the years we’ve been staying at Sugar Beach.We ran out of garbage bags, TP, PT. The front desk said they don’t restock so we had to go purchase our own. We had a great time but will stay in another unit next time.

This is our second time renting this condo. We love it. Close to the beach, to the pool, and to the parking lot. Already looking at the calendar to make it three times.
Wonderful view overlooking the beach and surf, easy access to the pool and parking area. Loved listening to the sound of the surf and watching the occasional chicken walk by. The unit was very clean and well maintained and well stocked with all of the necessary kitchen utensils and appliances. Having the washer and dryer was a nice benefit during our 10 day stay. Our friends who were staying in units on upper floors or overlooking the pool all ended up spending much of their time during the day in our condo due to its great location. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone staying at Sugar Beach.
Very private ground floor unit. This is truly beachfront. The ocean is 50 feet from the unit and because of the grassy ridge it remains very private but ocean still very accessible.
This was our first time staying at this specific place at Sugar Beach and it was absolutely wonderful. The check-in instructions were super easy and getting into the apartment was super simple. The place was very clean and cozy. The staff were incredibly helpful and offered great advice on places to visit. The bed was very comfortable. my favorite part is the patio that looks out to the ocean. We spend many evenings, just relaxing out there. Would definitely stay again.
