Unit very comfortable, clean, well stocked and cozy. Great view. Clean, refreshing pool, perfect size for kids. Quiet beach. Best swimming early morning as water becomes a bit choppy later and stirs up silt. Intimate and lovely, well run place.

We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings and evening, and the close access to the beach is amazing.The condo itself is fantastic. It had all the amenities (and more!) that we needed. Kitchen was terrific and all furniture was comfy and cozy. We also liked being in north Kihei. Very central to other areas on the island. We would come back to this condo in a heartbeat!

I loved the size of the building and not having to deal with an elevator.The location for watching the sunset couldn't be better and having the oean right out the door is amazing.

My friend was so impressed with the kitchen ( especially the knives?!?) and we both appreciated the view, the sound of the waves and great aircon. The location was quieter than Kihei but easily accessible to restaurants and stores. The parking spaces are super tight so we went with a small rental car and were glad we did. I hope I am blessed to come back one day.

While the kitchen looked different than the photos (it and the bathrooms were very small), the pros FAR outweighed the cons. The location and views were amazing. Literally steps from the pool and beach (and laundry room). Uncrowded beach, great swimming, friendly staff, comfortable beds, small complex, free coffee every morning. We could go on and on! We had the best time, and will most definitely rent this condo again!

We were four and just arrived seeking to have beachfront comfort with classy property and that is what we experienced here! Super maintained, beautiful grounds and just feet away from the water. We watched sunsets on our balcony and fell asleep to the sound of Maui's finest sounds of the ocean. Love, Love, love this place. It was great to experience Kihei as well (missing Lahaina of course.) Totally fun. Rest assured we will be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at Kihei Sands was delightful. The unit provides enough space for two couples although the kitchen is a bit tight. Beds are comfortable. The microwave light doesn’t turn on or off so we chose to have it left on which resulted in more nighttime light than we liked in the upstairs bedroom. Our upstairs bathroom worked well; however our friends indicated the downstairs shower head was weak. The staff are all helpful. Special shout-out to Patrick who got us familiar with Airplay so we could watch hockey on the big screen! And also to Geo who does a great job keeping the grounds and pool clean. We found the kitchen a bit crammed with stuff so moved the extra stuff to high shelves or the hallway chest. Laundry is handy to the unit, if a bit overpriced. We did most of our own cooking but also found lots of restaurants to choose from near by. The beach is great at this location. We will stay again.

We received a warm welcome upon arrival and was even able to check in early. The condo was clean, spacious and the kitchen was very well stocked. The view from B9 was incredible. Highly recommend this unit. As a family, we all met on the patio for morning coffee. We listened to the ocean and enjoyed the warm weather and breezes. In the evenings we would gather again for a BBQ or potluck dinner. This time watching the incredible sunsets and even star gazing. The owner and manager were always accessible and extremely accommodating. We could not have asked for more. Kihei Sands is located right next door to Sugar Beach Events. The perfect place to stay if attending a wedding. The property was always clean and very well maintained. Our whole experience at Kihei Sands was truly magical. If we are ever fortunate enough to visit Maui again, we will definitely be staying at Kihei Sands. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

So close to the water, the beds were comfortable, the people who worked there were lovely and we were so close to so much! I loved it. We had both of the water front second story units and I could not have been happier. Two small complaints. The first was the one of the owners/neighbors was doing construction on his bathroom and would start with saws and hammers at 7am every morning. Second was that they put out coffee in the courtyard in front around 6:30am which should have been lovely except that meant a bunch of people talking loudly in front of our windows. Everything was perfect t about these two condos with the exception of getting woken up between 6:30-7am every morning while on vacay...that was not awesome.
