Kitchen was excellently stocked, they had beach chairs, snorkell gear, umbrellas, they thought if everything Even fishing rods The sunsets are the most beautiful you will ever see in this world.
We loved hanging out on the Lanai with the amazing view and falling to sleep to ocean waves. Kitchen was large and well stocked. Lots of gear available made our beach days comfortable and fun. Definitely would stay here again! Close to all the action but not all the noise.
Amazing view of the ocean and Kailua Bay. We enjoyed coffee in the morning, watching the dolphins come in and play in the bay, and the sunsets in the evening. The apartment was well laid out, with minimal clutter. There was plenty of space to unpack and settle in. The kitchen was well appointed, and we appreciated the in-unit laundry. Parking was never an issue - lots of space. A great location, easy walk to downtown. We stayed for the Ironman and it was a good location - easy to use Lunapule Road/Kuikini to avoid Alii Drive congestion. We particularly appreciated the back-pack beach chairs.
Overall great view
Great place, clean, great location, direct ocean views. The identity verification via Truvi was slightly cumbersome, as it would sometimes error or just hang and simply not finish the verification. I learned only the day before the stay that the verification had not gone through. Not the fault of the property of course, it just took some back and forth.I would book this place again.
Sea Village was an outstanding place to stay and relax. We will be back as soon as possible.
It was beautiful view just like the photos however it was hard without air conditioning.
Both the location and the unit were beautiful! The main thing that was missing that we're use to as a necessity being Florida natives was central A/C or even a window A/C unit - there were only ceiling fans and portable oscillating fans made for sleeping at nights kind of uncomfortable, even with having the sliding door and windows open with the screens shut, of course. Locals on the island rely on the ocean breeze to help keep indoors cooled so A/C is not common, however, we believed it was very necessary, as Kona is notorious for being hot and both dry and humid. Additionally, as a heads up, the shower "entry" has essentially half of a see-thru glass partition? and not an actual door/partition combo, so it was a little challenging to keep the water IN the shower because it's always half open lol. So therefore, only reasons for 4 stars. We were overall happy with our stay and mahalo for the hospitality!
We really enjoyed this condo. It has a beautiful ocean view and was well equipped. We had a problem with the tv and Wi-Fi when we arrived but management fixed it. Highly recommended!
The unit was very nice. The problem we had was with the management company. Second day there the cable box went out. Contacted customer service, got a quick response saying the issue was referred to the proper department. Never got a response nor did the cable box get repaired, so we had no real TV for the majority of the stay.
Nice condo on the water. Just missing a few amenities like salt and pepper, condements. We have always stayed in VRBOs and that is all that was lacking...
There was no communication between host and my family ruined our whole trip
The cleaning fee is a rip off ! Upon our arrival there was debris, hair and crumbs of food on the living room floor, dried food stuck on both sinks in the kitchen. Some "lady" clipped her fingernails and TOE NAILS on the couch. The clippings were on the floor and some on the coffee table !!! Nobody has dusted anything in many months, or, years. All of the pictures have the greasy, waxy dust build up of nobody ever dusting. The wine glasses in the filthy wine rack were so dirty and dusty, I drew my name in the dust to show my wife. The bathroom door has black hand prints all around the doorknobs from never being cleaned.
Overall had a great time, location was great and walkable to town . My only issue was TV was too small and couldn’t get the system to work , but that was a minor deal The view made up for it. I’d reccommend this place for all above reasons Thanks Wilcox Family
