PANORAMIC OCEANVIEW PENTHOUSE - ISLAND SURF - Heart of South Maui.

The condo was very clean and comfortable with a wonderful view! Ligia was very welcoming and informative. We really appreciated the beach equipment to use. And the location was great! So close to amazing food and the beach. We had a great stay!

This Penthouse Apartment was perfect in every way. The ocean view was stunning. The apartment had so many amenities, to include beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, washer and dryer, beach towels, two high end binoculars, and a fully stocked kitchen with a dish washer. In other words, everything a traveler would need for an awesome Maui stay was right there. Further, right next to the apartment complex was an unbelievable food truck park. The largest we have ever seen. A destination in and of itself. Added to all of this was the perfect host. She made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay extremely enjoyable. She was very responsive with any questions we had and provided some excellent pro tips on where to eat and what to do. Bottom line, this was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in.

We had a wonderful stay here. Communication with the owner was great, the area has a nice little food truck parking lot with a ton of great options. The view is amazing, right across the ocean. A lot of great parks nearby and there was plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend.

I told the host I'd give a fair account of our experience at this condo. There is no malcontent here, just what we experienced. This condo would be perfect in Myrtle Beach, SC, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's what it is: old, run-down, smells bad, on the intersection of two roads (so not on the beach), and just, blah. Now, if you read through reviews, you'll see a pattern where people will share about how the condo was dirty, or there were insects or the place just felt grimy, and the host will say things like, "Well, you're on a tropical island" or "We have the condo professionally cleaned with pictures to prove it" and those comments are well and good, but the fact is there was hair in the shower and sink (sent pictures) and we found fleas in the mattress cover (took pictures and left on a paper towel for proof), and it just smells really old. Of course, we got the same responses as others who have stayed here, so clearly there is a pattern. Either there needs to be a new company hired to clean the condo, a complete reno of the place, or a willingness to work with people who paid lots of money to walk into an unhomely condo. We booked four nights but got out after 2. No refund offered (to be expected once you read all the reviews) but worth it to not stay there another 2 nights. Again, if you're cool with paying good money for a run-down, leave you feeling dirty condo, then you'll have no problems. But there are too many other places to stay in Kihei!

The unit was exactly as described in the listing. The view from the lanai is stunning. Location is so convenient. South Maui Gardens is right behind the building. Multiple restaurants, convenience stores, and a grocery store within a less than five minutes walk. I also cannot say enough positive about the host. Communication was top notch and they are so friendly. Checked in with us multiple times throughout our ten day stay simply asking if everything was up to our expectations and if there were any issues. If I could give both the condo and the boats a ten star rating, I definitely would. This was our first time in Maui, and definitely will not be our last. We will definitely stay in this same unit when we return. Do not hesitate to book this unit with complete confidence. Convenient, clean, furnished beautifully, fantastic area, easy parking, great communication. I simply do not know what else anyone could possibly want for a vacation rental. 10/10 will be back.

Great location, great place, comfortable condo would stay again

This property was perfect for us! You can walk to everything! The South Maui Luau is directly behind the property with tons of food trucks. The Kihei Caffe is right next door as is the Paia Fish market (so ono!). Plenty of space for us and a balcony overlooking the water

The property is within walking distance of so much/ groceries, beach, park, bar, shopping, coffee, restaurants etc. The view from the deck was great. It can be a little noisy on the deck during the day, but didn’t bother us as we were usually out during the day. Had a separate AC unit in the bedroom which was a lifesaver for us. Plenty if space for the two of us. We’d stay again.

Great Condo located in the heart of Kihei. Beaches, parks, shops, restaurants and bars. Great view of ocean with swimmers, surfers and snorkelers. Our hosts, Ligia and Mike couldn’t have been better. Our first nite we had problems with the TV set. The next morning they showed up with a brand new 65 inch set. Ligia would text every few days to check if all was well and see if we needed anything. Great hosts, great Condo!

The best features of this property is location and view. I think this is the only 6 story building in the area and is designed with all units to have an ocean view. Since this unit is on the top floor, the ocean view was the best! We enjoyed watching surfers, both experienced and beginners in surf school, from our lanai. The location is adjacent to shops, restaurants, and bars. The building lower level has shops including a great deli and a convenience store.it also has good off street parking. The owner was very responsive to questions or problems we had.

Ligia was very helpful and responded back when we needed help. The location was perfect, view was great, and the building was quiet and peaceful.

The owner is very responsive to all your needs. She starts you off with a great introduction to the locale. When you arrive there is a bottle of wine and 2 glasses chilling in the frig. Unit is newly refurbished and tastefully decorated. Kitchen is the best equipped I've ever seen. Espesso machine! WITH COFFEE. Parking is secure and easy. Surfboard rental and beach right accross the street.

We booked three nights at this property. It had a great view of the ocean. We discovered mold in the air conditioner as well as ants and fleas in the kitchen. We contacted the property host about the air conditioner but a replacement would not be available until after our stay would be complete. We left early after 2 of three nights due to poor air quality from the moldy Air conditioning system as well as the ants and fleas we discovered in the kitchen. I contacted the owner a couple of times to request a refund only for the night we did not stay. I sent them a photo of the moldy air conditioner. The owner refused to refund the night we did not stay.

Great view! Nice balcony. Comfortable bed. Boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, and beach towels available in unit for guest use. Very close to casual restaurants and shopping.

The penthouse felt like having a home away from home but in this case we could see and hear the ocean. I would recommend this rental to anyone.

The ocean view was spectacular—more of a south west view with the surf shop below and across the street. You need to walk to the beach park across the street to see the sunset, however the walk is worth it. The house was stocked with coffee and an excellent espresso and coffee maker. It had all the amenities for cooking as well as spices and condiments. We used InstaCart for whatever else we needed. The Bose radio was enjoyable and a nice extra touch. There’s beach chairs, a cooler and plenty of towels for a beach day. The unit had AC—nice after a day in the sun. Upon our arrival, we found a chilled bottle of wine for our anniversary. Mahalo

The location is good, it has good eating places and a nearby grocery store. The condo itself is nice and clean. Comfortable king size bed, bose sound system, nice balcony.
