General Info:
The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18-hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60-foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoy the Maui Sunset, but there is no consistency to the units with the kitchen contents. Some units have more dishes/utensils than others and no teapots or pot holders to use at the stove. The bottle & recycling could be better. White sofas are not the best choice, ours had marks on it when we arrived. Maybe using a check list before new guests arrive would help with consistency in the units. We missed not having the weekly music sessions in the courtyard, they are most enjoyable. We look forward to returning in the winter hopefully.

It is not very modern but didn't bother us.The resort itself is amazing. Very well kept and pleasant. We enjoyed the pool, the different games you can borrow, the tennis court and the easy access to the beach. It's not a beach that you can easily swim (very shallow), but was fun to sit and watch the sunset. We'll be back for sure

I received a dent in my car door from someone else. My biggest complaint is the timer on the air conditioner. I set it before we go to bed then 4 hours later we wake up and the room is to hot because the air conditioner turned off.
