Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge is nearby for birdwatching and open wetland views, while Maalaea Harbor is a convenient choice for ocean activities and the Maui Ocean Center. South Kihei adds more food, shops, and beach energy at Kamaole Beach Park III. It is a well-placed spot for a two-person stay with room to roam.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

Beautiful ocean view. Enjoyed drinking coffee out on the balcony every morning. Beautiful!
Comfortable condo, we had everything we needed. Right on Sugar Beach on the Maalaea Bay with view of humpbacks (winter season) dolphins and turtles. Views of Mauna Kahālāwai, Molokini Crater, Kahoʻolawe, Near shops and restaurants, Keālia Pond National Wildlife Refuge, Kihei Marine Sanctuary Visitor Center, Aquarium. Next to the last resort, so much quieter.
Great view, responsiveness and friendliness of staff, well equipped condo and wonderful sandy beach!
We loved everything
The location and view are amazing! We loved being so close to a great sandy beach, and the view is amazing! The house was well stocked and the welcome gift was very thoughtful. It also was nice to have beach chairs and an umbrella to use if needed. We were able to walk a short distance to the Sugar Beach Bakery, Ululani's Hawaiian Shaved Ice, and an ABC Store. The location is close to many restaurants as well. If we travel back to Maui we will definitely stay here again!
Property is well kept.
My husband and I needed a place to unwind, and we decided on Maui, unsure of what we would do. We found that, even though there were dozens of options of things we could do, we ended up, deciding ultimately that we wanted to spend most of our time at the condo because you can’t beat a private beach! Perfect size condo. Beach chairs were a huge plus. Loved the tranquility of the area!!

The house was great, very clean and organized. Really loved the welcome gift and amazing views. Definitely recommend this home as it is a prime location to just about anything on the west part of Maui. Plenty of parking and steps to the beach.
We were very happy with our stay here. Great location and very clean. Came fully stocked which made cooking and cleaning a breeze. If we forgot something the home already had it which was awesome. Would definitely come back again.
My bride and I loved this place. Great location, wonderful view and very clean. Every morning started off perfectly with coffee on the lanai.
