Ocean View! Steps to beach, shops, restaurants!

The location was perfect with the beach right across the street and tons of shopping and dining options a mile away. The condo was great. Very quiet building.The bed was quite comfortable (and didn't aggrivate my bad back). The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and a variety of cooking and serving utensils. Loved sitting on the lanai for morning coffee while taking in the view. The grounds and amenities in the community were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We are already looking forward to booking Kihei Akahi C509 for our next Maui vacation. Such a gem!!

An advance warning about the washed-out main beach road construction closure right in front of the property access would have been helpful. This repair project will take some time this summer!! We could not find the promised front entry keypad light (stolen??). the entry area is quite dark!The promised 6 inch bed couch mattress is quite thin and insufficient for an adult to sleep on (I slept on couch cushions).While the unit was generally quite clean, kitchen utensils & some equipment had been insufficiently cleaned.Some items in the beach equipment storage area were caked with much sand (we only used 2 beach chairs).What to do with used linens, towels, etc. ?

This was a perfect spot for a quiet stay across from the beach. It had everything I needed for beach days--chairs, towels, coolers--great for someone trying to pack light. The balcony was perfect for relaxing with the ocean view and listening to the birds and the waves. Just a hop from a couple restaurants and shops, an easy 30 minute walk from even more dining and night life options, and easy to get in and out of the complex by car if you have a rental.Had the tiniest issue with my check-in code, and the responsiveness from my host was unbeatable. Didn't run into any other issues during my stay, but felt confident I would have immediate support if I did.Really couldn't have asked for a better home base for my 3 days in Kihei!

The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing trip. The lanai and ocean view were definitely the highlight—perfect for morning coffee and sunsets and bit of shelter from short rain. Location was super convenient, easy walk to the beach and close to everything in Kihei. The unit had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, and it was nice having beach gear and washer/dryer.Only thing to note: there was some road construction at the entrance from previous floods, but it wasn’t a big deal at all—we could still get in and out easily.Would definitely stay here again

Ideal location, beautiful grounds, comfortable stay

The place was clean and the bed comfortable. The AC was great. We came in during a bad storm and flooding, so no hot water initially, but the management fixed it as soon as possible. The ocean and garden view from the Lani was beautiful. Walking distance to shops and the beach was just steps away from the complex, but unfortunately closed due to flooding and the giant sink hole in the road from the ocean wash out. Would still stay there again.

Our stay was great! The location was perfect because we didn’t rent a car and could walk to tons of beaches, restaurants, and shops. Host was very responsive and we had a lovely time.

Great condo! A lot of thought was put into what vacationers would need to make their stay pleasant. Kitchen items were really nice. Not a bunch of mismatched junk. Host was friendly and so helpful. He just seemed to know what you'd want to know. Would be happy to stay there again.

A wonderful stay in this well-appointed condo. We loved the balcony facing a lovely garden area with a view of the ocean. We appreciated the host’s willingness to answer our questions and he ensured everything was in order for our two-week stay. Kihei is a great central location to the sites in Maui. The beach is just a 2-minute walk. Thank you for being the perfect spot for our get-away.

Fantastic location! Grab a towel and beach chair (provided) and walk across the street to enjoy a wonderful beach. Great restaurants within walking distance too. We look forward to coming back.

Great spot!! We had a rental car during our trip and the reserved parking spot was a surprisingly nice bonus with this place. We bounced between beach and town, touring the island, and did a day driving the Road to Hana. PERFECT place to go and come from plus a little downtime in the apartment was great.

5th floor right off elevator which is great because my husband can’t walk too far. Stocked accoutrements for kitchen and beach. Nice pool. Staff friendly. The only downside was no smart tv but we watched White Lotus on our laptop. WiFi good. Would stay again.

The ocean view from the balcony was very nice. The interior of the condo was ok. The bathroom area was a little too small. Sleeping on the comfortable bed was great. Could have used some boogie boards and noodles for the beach.

I booked this stay at the last minute and I could not have been happier. The location was great, the host was responsive and hospitable and the price paid was fair. There is a nice beach right across the street and you can also walk to local eateries and stores. The community is quiet and the office team is very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again!

great location. everything as expected

We have stayed in this complex before and love the proximity to the ocean (Kam beaches). We appreciate the front to back openness of the unit, which allows for a good breeze to flow through. The kitchen was well stocked and the extras like beach chairs, umbrella and cooler were very much appreciated.

We stayed for 5 nights and had everything we needed or wanted. Although we had rented beach equipment online ahead of time, we wouldn’t have needed to as the condo had all we would have needed. Everything was lovely, the bed was super comfortable. The only thing to keep in mind is that the air conditioner doesn’t reach the back room - there are fans to help keep it cooler but it stayed warm in the room. Overall, it’s a lovely place to stay and we highly recommend.

Dave's place was great. We never used the AC. Kept the windows and doors open and had a really strong breeze. Walked to the beach and great dining at the triangle. Unit was perefct for 2 adults.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kihei Akahi. Deck was perfect for breakfast, playing games, the sunsets, were just beautiful!!

Comfy place to stay. Nice bed, we didn’t stay much in our room but beach is across the street. Make sure you go to auntie snorkel for rentals,(just beside the apartment) place was incredible and told us where to go as novice snorkels. Building not the newest but apartment was clean and zero issues with anything. Dedicated parking spot , security at night and safe,quiet charming part of Kihei.

We were very happy with the accommodation. Everything was perfect. We can definitely recommend them.

The condo was very clean and the perfect size for my husband and I. It was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy the beach; we used the chairs, umbrella and cooler almost every day. We couldn’t have asked for a better location! We loved being so close to the beach and walked to some of the restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings sitting on the lanai, the view is great! We will definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at the condo!! The location was perfect! Steps away from the beach, restaurants and shops. The bed was super comfortable and having a well stocked kitchen was helpful. We also appreciated the beach gear which we used daily. There is some noise from roosters but that is standard in Hawaii. We also really appreciated and enjoyed the recommendations Jim sent us ahead of time. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place. Perfect location! Very quiet. My only disappointment was in dealing with the manager who falsely accused me of pouring sand off of the balcony, and when I replied I hadn't even been on the balcony yet, I was told "it has to be you, there is no one else". It turned out to be the maid next door. And I didn't get an apology, which didn't feel great. But that is just one person with bad communication skills. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Fantastic location and amenities, with everything you need for a vacation supplied. Jim provided all information and answered any questions that we had promptly. It was a bonus that the beach was across the street and numerous restaurants were within walking distance. We will most surely be looking to stay here again.

Exterior of the property and the location was great. On site. Property manager was not very responsive. Did have a good experience with owner. Had major issues in the condo throughout our stay and the owner is aware.

What a wonderful stay in Kihei! Location was perfect - close to beaches, shops and restaurants. Jim’s suggestions for groceries, restaurants, and activities were much appreciated. We loved every minute of our stay here and would recommend this accommodation!
