Aloha, We loved this condo. Beautiful view from the kitchen/livingroom, and main bedroom. It was amazing to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the pool was great, even had a kids pool. Neighbors were super nice aswell. We had some small issues in the beginning but the host were super helpful and kind, very easy to get in touch with, and helped with all that we needed. Definitely a place we would rent again if we go back one day
It was exactly as advertised and we loved it. It was perfect for our family of 5. The dishwasher and washer/dryer were in great condition and the kitchen had everything we needed, including various spices. The pools are fantastic and we loved the neighbors. Everyone was very friendly! It was an incredible month and Eric and Theresa were very responsive about a couple little issues that arose. We highly recommend this property.
The place could use new flooring and we sprayed for bugs .not bad just a few in the kitchen area . But I expect some bugs in the tropics . I would stay there again!
This place was in the perfect place to stay close to the beaches and shops the area Was clean the people there were great the pool area are clean and comfortable
We had a wonderful stay at Eric & Theresa's Condo. Ali'i Lani is a great complex with 2 pools and BBQ areas that is well kept and a 25 minute walk, or 5 minute drive to town. Convenience/Liquor store right across the street is a plus if you run out of anything. The Trolley stops right in front and is a very convenient way to get around Kona. Overall very pleasant stay !
The unit was as advertised but with just a few issues. The washer left clothes a little damp. Water is constantly running in the second toilet, so it was a bit noisy. Kitchen amenities needs some refresh. Overall, the stay was good. The owners were very responsive.
Highlight: easy access to most places, nice decoration, plenty of bedding, linen, and towels for everyone. Beach accessory is plenty for a good trip to the beach. Good response from owner. Lowlight: The place was not very well managed by management company. We were missing several items and had to request a few times, not very convenient for us even though they sent the supplies within a day. The shower tubs were not very clean, towels smelled moldy, and the dish washer was filthy which we have to run thru the cycle couple times to get it cleaned. We would stay here again and wish that the owner is place close attention to the management company.
Our stay here was a delightful 18 days! We are a family of five and fit great in this beautiful apartment. Having the double bed and bunk beds were perfect for our kids. The bedrooms are a good size and having two full baths was awesome! The bedding was new and very clean. The vinal flooring was perfect for an easy clean when we tracked in beach sand. The staff in the complex was very friendly and helpful. My kids made full use of both pools several times a week. The owners were easy to work with and very accommodating. We were missing our parking sticker when we first got there so we contacted Eric and the manager was on our doorstep within 10 min to give us the sticker. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. As for the previous reviews, we had none of those issues. They must have all been resolved before we arrived! So do not worry! This was a perfect vacation home for us!
The carpet is in need of cleaning, but should also probably be replaced. My wife did not want to take off her socks or sandals, while in the unit. Carpets were torn in some places. Towel rack is falling off from wall in one bathroom. One AC unit does not work; in front bedroom. Front screen is torn and falling apart. The dishwasher was broken. No measuring cup and the knives were rusty. I know and understand about leaving food, as a rule, but the unit did not even have salt and pepper. Every supply needed to be purchased. Also, we had to purchase a cork screw, for wine. There were no instructions on how to operate the TV. I finally got a couple of local stations, but no HBO or TV to internet. Some things are out of their control. The people, who live down below, were smokers. They made it so we could not really enjoy the back balcony.
I booked this several month prior to my stay. I have been to Kona several times and have stayed in many places. This one, well lets say I paid a cleaning fee for NO reason considering it was filthy when I arrived. I had to wash all the dishes, clean the sinks and bathrooms and the floors. The dishwasher was broken, carpet was filthy, bathroom wasn't clean and the toilet leaned to one side. The beds were comfortable though. The complex was a bit extreme on the rules but the pool was nice and the barbeques were nice to have available. I guess the best part of the stay here was it had A/C and the location was convenient but I will not be staying here next time.
