Modern 43rd Floor 1BD - Views of Panoramic Ocean & Diamond Head!

Had beautiful view of the island.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was amazing.However, the bathroom fan was extremely noisy.The air conditioner was also loud, and since there was only one unit in the bedroom, the living room got too hot.The ventilation was good, so it was comfortable with the windows open during the day, but it was hard to sleep at night.It would have been nice to have an electric kettle.

Overall: Property has all the basics, but if you want to feel the spirit of aloha, this isn't the best choice. Everything is extra; ketchup packets are 50 cents, gym is 5/day. We arrived early from our flight and we're told they couldn't let us up to the room early. They wanted to charge us 5 PER BAG to watch the bags at the front. Laundry and dryer are also for pay on a separate floor. If you rent a car, parking is 45 PER NIGHT, which is pretty much highway robbery. We found nearby street parking most of the time for free, but had to pay the 45 once. The toilet was broken in such a way that if they had put in 10 at some point to fix it properly, it would be fine. Instead, they tried to bend a metal piece back into place (it didn't work), so we CONSTANTLY had to be climbing into the tank with our hands to fix the flusher. Yuck. We asked for extra towels and received a couple of hand towels hung on our doorknob the next day (not super helpful; we wanted full size). The pull out mattress was worn and stained. Like, nothing is technically wrong, but we didn't feel overwhelmingly welcome.A moment for the positive parts: place was clean. The neighborhood is unmatched, and so are the views. The best part is that you get all the views with none of the street noise. Kids loved the pool (kids love pools, so that's an easy one). Overall, there are similar places out there offering more for the same price.

Overall, the experience was nice. Good location. However, the condo was dirty and the toilet is finicky.

I called about the blinds being broken, and the AC not working well, but never received a call back. The TV situation is really poor. A decent TV that you could mirror to would be pretty inexpensive. Overall we had a great stay. You could do a few things to the place that would make it more appealing to future guests.

Perfect room...location, view indescribable......sunrises perfect, ocean view excellent, surrounding views breathtaking!! 43rd floor, expected all of that. Got in late, 26 hours from North Carolina.....had the code to the room, even last code, nothing worked..no help from lady who gave us our fobs for the doors. Security finally sent someone up, he knew to put a check mark at the end of the code...got in. Should have been in our email? Air conditioning was non existent, uncomfortable the entire 14 days, never did cool the rooms day or night! I tried calling the number on our email..left messages..finally got a call back from a lady who could neither speak or understand English? Unacceptable. All she could repeat was send e-mail over and over. No help. Bed marginal, pillows flat, bought our own to sleep. Still, loved the place. Once inside, everything worked. Would ask for it next time if AC works? Perfect location to town, restaurants, beach, shopping and tour bus pickup and drop off. Had a rental car the whole two weeks and had to pay for parking, $1,500 expense. Could have rented a car in from the building just for days needs...turned in at night, saved $800. Didn’t know. Overall, great time, would still recommend it to family and friends.

All was well and as described. Beautiful location and views. Our 3 year old loved the room!

The location was perfect for walking around, great view from the balcony and the pull out sofa was very comfortable. We did run out of clean towels and TP, the front desk does not supply to Vrbo tenants, we ended up buying our own but could have probably called the leasing agent. Overall no complaints!

Reviewer Comments: The view of the canal (including rowing teams) from the bedroom, and the view of the city and Waikiki beach from the living room are stunning. If you enjoy shopping and dining, the location is 1 to 2 blocks from everything in central Waikiki. Its not really convenient for beach swimming access, as you would need to carry beach equip. a few blocks. The room could definitely use more decor, particularly, the living room has a sparse feel, several pictures of tropical scenery would be nice. The first two days we had to contact property management because the TV was not hooked up, (fixed the next day) and the freezer didn't work at all, this was never addressed, and we had to throw away a couple of damaged items. Also, the microwave and stovetop were not user friendly or intuitive on how to use, it took much trial and error until we figured them out (and located a manual). Bedroom did not have a window cover for the center slider, so there was lights from the city all night, and the AC is very loud (my husband temporarily muffled it). Parking was $40 a night, quite pricey. The pool and jacuzzi area is nice. I would recommend this property for the view and location.

We were very happy of our stay. Looks exactly like pictures! Check in was easy, loved the key less entry. Kitchen well equipped, stove a little difficult to use but we YouTubed it and was fine. Was a little scared to read reviews about AC only in the bedroom but honestly it wasn’t bad. We kept fan on in the living room and kept the windows open. I imagine it could be bad if it was humid but we were comfortable! Bed and pull out were comfortable, extra blankets/towels provided. Also loved that they provided 2 beach chairs! The pool was nice, only went once as of course we’d rather be at the beautiful beaches. Loved the convenience store! We went atleast once a day haha. What’ll really win you over about this place are the views! The view from the living room windows are amazing, honestly felt like we were looking over a balcony! The lanai has an awesome seating area and table where we’d have some meals, another amazing view—it was awesome to see the top of diamond head (and even more fulfilling after we hiked it!) Only con I’d say is the parking $35/day is pretty steep considering we stayed 6 nights. It’d be awesome if were included or even discounted. Also it would’ve been nice for the little cafe to be open downstairs in the lobby for coffee or a quick bite, but lots of nearby walkable options. Would most definitely stay there again and recommend it to all my family and friends!
