Wonderful location, given it is near, but not in the middle of Waikiki. Within walking distance to a lot of places. The building is dated but was clean and fairly well equipped. Host was helpful and available.
The property was clean, tidy and as depicted in its online description. Communications with the host were comprehensive and prompt. Location was awesome in the quiet end of Waikiki!
Pros-The location was great- short walk to Waikiki Beach or downtown. Not far from diamond head. Has paid parking.Cons- building is in need of TLC. No pool.
Checking in was easy. Went to unit which had good views from each side of the room. Room needs updating, appeared to be a work in progress with drywall missing and damaged floor tiles. Large painting was a bit unsettling, definitely an island theme would be better.
Great location. Unit and building are dated, but reflected in price. Clean, and easy check in etc. will stay again
We love staying at Diamond Head Beach Hotel. Each unit is individually owned so the review is for this unit. Exactly what we needed! Enough room in the bedroom and even more in the living room. We return to Honolulu 3-4 times a year after living in Honolulu so we know the area and property well. Looking forward to the next visit! Aloha!
Fantastically located with ocean views and sounds. A perfect size for a couple wanting to relax amongst paradise!
Could use an update and tlc...example shower head is old..area rug in living room needs a good cleaning...and sheets have seen a better day...very minimal things but still should be fixed.
I was allergic to something in bedroom and had to sleep on the couch. Maybe dirty carpet? Normally I do not have allergies.
Although this is an older property,if you want to be just outside Waikiki, this is the place for you. There is a beautiful view of Diamond Head. Walking distance to beaches. Very friendly staff and residents.
