Cotton Candy Sky Kona Pacific Condo

Loved the location & the rental! A few nights were a little hot for us, but we’re used to central AC in Georgia. Condo was gorgeous & views were amazing! Loved having the washer & dryer in the unit since we were in Hawaii a total of 10 days (so we could wash clothes we wore on the 1st half of our trip).

Condo was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable and large. Murphy bed was perfect for the kids and comfortable. Pool access was nice. Parking was covered with reserved spot. Short walking distance to the downtown "tourist" area. Check in/out was easy. Good communication from host. Would stay here again.

Cotton Candy – Kona Pacific Stay: 8 days DecemberOur stay at Cotton Candy in Kona Pacific was absolutely lovely. From the moment you walk in, the condo feels immaculate, peaceful, and genuinely homey—one of those spaces where your shoulders drop immediately. It’s clear the owners care about comfort and cleanliness.The main bed was heavenly—truly restful. The Murphy bed was less comfortable (according to our grandson), but workable for a short stay. There are two bathrooms, though neither has a vent fan, and the smaller bathroom lacks ventilation, which is worth noting. We stayed mid-December when temperatures were cooler, but my husband did wonder whether the single A/C unit would adequately cool both the living and bedroom areas during hotter months.The lanai steals the show. Sunset views were breathtaking and quickly became our favorite place to read, write, and enjoy a cool beverage as the day wound down.The pool area was another highlight, perfect for quick dips and soaking up some Kona sunshine. It was especially appreciated by our family members as they grabbed every warm ray possible before returning to the bone-chilling temperatures of Alaska—pure vacation joy.Kona Pacific itself feels like a quiet little secret, with underground parking, peaceful grounds, and a fantastic location. You’re a short walk in either direction to beach areas, great food, and local vendors—no car required unless you want to explore farther out.The condo was well stocked.

Location was great and you could walk to town. Nice. Pool on site. The floors in the condo needed to be cleaned as we had dirty feet when we looked. The sleeping is all in one room with the bed and fold out bed. Not much privacy. Didn’t care for the recliner chairs as they use up some walking space. Balcony was nice .

Oh my gosh… what a perfect unit and location for my sister and I to have our annual 2 week Hawaiian getaway. This condo went above and beyond with amenities and comfort. It was just as pictured and did not disappoint. Having a washer / dryer in the unit made it extra convenient for doing laundry. We truly enjoyed the quiet location - yet so easy and close to walk into town for shopping and dining. This is one place I will recommend over and over again. Quiet & very private balcony. Great scenery with plants all around for the landscape and still a view of the ocean was available also. The condo was spacious & updated. It was convenient to all the local areas.

We appreciated all the extra little things that really helped make this a home away from home. Such as a reclining love seat, a motion night light in the bathroom, liquid hand soap, coasters, some spices available, laundry basket, and stuff to enjoy the beach without having to pack it or purchase. I'm really fussy about the bed and found this one very comfortable with a nice pillow top. Our only complaint was the air conditioner was loud and made it just barely comfortable. Overall I would definitely try to stay here again if I come back.

We loved staying at the condo for 4 nights. Well stocked. Even had beach gear and a small cooler. Nice little touches. Sliding screen doors could use some maintenance. They didn’t slide well at all. We would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay for our family of three. The unit has been upgraded and taken great care of. Perfect location for all Kona and the Big Island have to offer. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We will be back!

Great location close to town and ocean front. Condo exactly as advertised, clean, modern and a killer view. It has all the amenities to make your Big Island adventure enjoyable. Close to town and many great restaurants. Town a little depressed with many closed businesses and some homeless but still enjoyable.

I can't say enough about this place and the host! It was clean, stocked with anything you might need and very welcoming and comfortable. Marisa, our host, was also amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure our visit to the Big Island was everything we hoped it would be, even going so far as to give us insight and recommendations of places to visit and experience. AMAZING!

We so enjoyed walking in after a long, late flight to this beautiful, clean and fully equipped condo. The condo, the lanai, the garden and ocean view could not be better. Marisa was pleasant to deal with throughout the entire process and very quick to respond to messages. Lovely trip all around.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this condo in Kona Pacific. This unit may have the best location in the complex. The landscaping off the large lanai feels like you are in your own tropical garden. The sunsets from the lanai are beautiful! The pool is heavenly. You can see the Kona Pacific complex takes great pride in their facilities. The kitchen, bedroom and bathrooms in the condo are really well done and serene. The short walk into downtown Kona is very convenient. A few mornings we walked to the Kona Heaven Coffee cafe and sat on their front porch. Even though close to town, the condo complex was very quiet and you would not know you were right in town. HIghly recommend this condo!

The cotton candy condo is a perfect headquarters for a Hawaiian vacation. The condo is close to restaurants and it is very well equipped. Despite being close to the road, you do not hear the cars at all You definitely will hear the wildlife, specifically the frogs at night. At the beginning the froggy sound is great, they can get loud. Hubby and I were considering hunting our own dinner and getting frog's legs for dinner . JK We enjoyed having our coffee on the balcony in the morning. And you have the most spectacular sunsets in the afternoon. The condo was super clean. That is one of my fears when going on vacation. Here nothing to fear about. A rental car in the big Island is a must, and the condo has its own parking space. There was some construction in the last days of our visit, but that is not Marsa's fault. I has a question during the stay and she promptly answered. If we go back to the island, we definitely will choose the condo again.

This condo is located just past the Kailua Kona business district—perfect for walking to restaurants without being in the thick of it. It was clean and well organized. Basic kitchen & pantry items, beach equipment, and excellent air conditioning/fans made it very livable for our 1.5 week stay. Loved the lanai in the morning & evenings. Location is great if you rent a car for day trips to other island destinations.

It was one of my favorite places to stay in. It was in a prime location that gave you walking access to Ali’i Dr which has plenty of food and shops to explore. Grocery stores were within a 10 minute drive and the parking spot is soooioooo conveniently located by the elevator (bonus: the unit is basically right by the elevator as well). I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay in for my first visit to Hawai’i! Highly recommend this place and I’d love to stay here again on my next visit!

We loved our stay at the condo! It is exactly as described. The condo was stocked with all the beach essentials (towels, chairs, coolers, etc). It’s also a short walk to some great waterfront restaurants!

This condo was probably the best stay I have arranged with VRBO. The pictures didn’t do it justice. The lanai was spectacular with a modest ocean view. The condo had everything one could imagine needing and then some. If I do have a complaint and it is a minor quibble, it’s that I could communicate with the person in this arrangement could be contacted only through email. I would like a more personal touch. But what a wonderful VRBO stay!

This was an amazing condo! The property management was quick to respond to any question. Very clean, modern and updated. It had all the amenities you could want! Beach chairs, sand toys, beach towels, washer/dryer in the unit, fully stocked kitchen including spices! Very comfortable king sized bed. Wonderful garden setting with an ocean view! Beautiful pool! The complex was quiet and relaxing! We had a fantastic time!

This rental is by far one of our favorites. There's plenty of room for two adults. It's in a quiet area, but close to walking around the main Kailua Kona area. I would highly recommend renting this property.

We had a problem with a TV and Host solved the problem the next day. We were not too happy either wooden benches at the counter because your knees wouldn’t fit under the counter so you had sit sideways. There was not a sharp knife to cut Pineapple. Over all very convenient location and just as advertised.

We were able to see the sunset from the lanai every evening. It was awe-inspiring.
