Gorgeous Updated Oceanfront 3 bedroom @ Menehune Shores

The room floors were not mopped, dirty. Had ants daily. For the price I expected better.

We had five in our group and had an excellent stay. There was plenty of room for all of us and everything that we could possibly need was supplied. Location was perfect for us to get out and explore. The views were amazing and though we didn’t use it much the roof was a great place to sit and socialize. We ate at the Monsoon Grill which was very convenient and tasty. Would definitely stay here again if ever in Maui.

We enjoyed our stay at Menehune Shores. The VRBO had a great layout with amazing views of the ocean and sunsets. The property was in a good location for restaurants and grocery stores as well as getting to major sites on the island. There was plenty of parking, however, due to the office hours, it was difficult to take advantage of all the amenities. Management had good communication with us and the WiFi worked well and was easy to hook up to. Overall we had an above average experience and would stay here again.

Wonderful location, easy check in and out. Ocean view. Beach chairs. Would stay again. However we were told to remove our shoes, which we did. Within 15 minutes the bottom of our feet/ socks were black. We then found cleaning supplies and scrubbed all the floors. Also the blow drier in the master bath only blows cold..so used the hair drier in the other bath.

We had an excellent time in Maui with this condo unit as our home base. Kitchen was adequately stocked, beds were comfortable, and the view from the lanai was amazing!

Perfect spot for a larger group. Lovely views. Great location! Pool, ancient fishing hole and beach are great! Excellent spot for kids of all ages. Owners were immediately responsive to questions or concerns. We arrived to a very air conditioned unit with beautiful Hawaiian music playing and an awesome view. The owners were gracious enough to leave us coffee and treats. The entire family said they’d come back again.We had a magical vacation here - one I know my grandchildren will remember!

Beautiful property perfectly situated on the southern side of the island

Everything was great! There is a beach right in view of the porch that our kids enjoyed playing on and near the pool is an old fishpond/beach where they snorkeled and saw some fish and urchin! The place is wonderful overall, but our favorite hangout was on the porch taking in the beautiful view.

We had an amazing stay at the condo. Beautiful place with mostly all of the necessities. A few kitchen tools needed (tongs). We felt that the cushions for the outdoor furniture need to be replaced… little to no support.

The condo was great! They provided all the basics needed for the stay such as toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher soap, etc. they also had some welcome snacks that my family loved! Check in and check out was easy and communication with the property manager was quick and efficient. We love staying at Menehune shores and the property never disappoints. Looking forward to our next trip!

Had a wonderful time. The views from the balcony are beautiful and a great place to hang out. The property was clean with everything we needed. We rented mopeds and were able to easily travel all around the area from our condo.

Everything we needed was here including beach towels and beach chairs. We loved the location and view. The only complaint but really no fault of owners is the parking. When you have a suburban vehicle it is a struggle to get the car parked within the lines provided and then get out of your vehicle without hitting the door of car next to you. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 8 nights in April. The view is beautiful, the beach is nice and the management company is wonderful. We ran into a few hiccups however and unit is overpriced for what you get. 1. The AC broke and was off for 24 hours. This is one reason we booked this unit (with a baby and elderly parents who overheat easily especially at night). 2. The dishwasher broke and leaked all over the kitchen 3. There was mold around the caulking in both bathrooms and the trim was all broken and looked rotted. The bathroom cabinet kept falling apart. The tub was rather gross. 4. We left the fan on in the baby's room at night. There must be some electrical issue, because the light started to turn on in the middle of the night, waking the baby up. We ended up having to turn the entire system off so baby could sleep through the night...but he was HOT. 4. Not the unit's fault, but the pool was not heated. Nobody was in the pool It was very cold. With small kids, a pool is a bit part of our vacation selection. We were incredibly disappointed. We were told we'd get credit back for the inconveniences, but we haven't received anything. Next time, we'll book somewhere else that has better value for the money. This unit is in major need of some real maintenance and TLC.
