Take a dip in the pool, or explore the protected lagoon directly in front of the complex. Then come home to savor al fresco meals on your lanai—with stunning views of the blue Pacific Ocean and the West Maui Mountains.
Menehune Shores is a beautifully manicured property in a low-traffic area of North Kihei. With the beach and pool so close, this is the perfect spot for a relaxing family vacation. Enjoy the BBQ grills at the complex rooftop and take in the stunning 360 degree ocean and mountain views while listening to the conch shell blowing at sunset.
ABOUT THE CONDO
After a sun-kissed day at the beach, select a book from the on-site library, and stretch out in the living room on the sleeper sofa and armchair with ottoman. The 37” flat screen TV with DVD player makes this an ideal space for family movie nights.
When it’s time to eat, make use of the bright and remodeled kitchen with white cabinets, granite counters, and everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals. Brand new stainless steal appliances offer luxury and convenience. The kitchen opens to the dining area, which means everyone can stay connected at mealtime.
Gather around the glass-top dining table for four or head out to the lanai, where you’ll find another four-person table that is uniquely shaped so that everyone can take in the beautiful views.
After the sun sets, retreat to your master bedroom with queen bed, 24” TV, door to the lanai, and fantastic ocean views. The adjacent bathroom has also recently undergone a remodel with new countertop, shower tile in the tub/shower combination and new finishes throughout.
Down the hall, a guest room is configured with two twin beds—kids and adults alike will love this cheerful tropical space. The newly remodeled next-door bathroom has a walk-in shower, featuring new finishes, countertops and tile in the shower.
Extra perks at your rental include complimentary Wi-Fi and an in-unit brand new washer/dryer. Beach chairs and a cooler are provided for your use. Parking is available for one vehicle in the outdoor lot.
THE LOCATION

Excellent unit. Kristin, the host was very friendly and accommodating. Minimal seasonings but the kitchen is well stocked otherwise, pots, pans, Tupperware, etc. Property is very nice and well kept. Maintenance people were cleaning and polishing everything every day. We made good use of the grills. Grilling tools are under the stove which took us a while to come across. :)Hot water. Cold fridge. AC works great.
The condo had a lovely ocean view and its location was central for exploring the island. The furnishings were adequate. Unfortunately, there had been a flood several days before we arrived, and we understand some residents were not able to move their cars for a while because of the mud. It had been cleared out of the parking lot by the time we arrived, but south Kihei Road was closed near us for repairs during our visit and sidewalks in the area were still covered in 6 or so inches of mud. We were told this is a rare occurrence, but it is something to consider during the rainy season.
The place had amazing views, it was clean, quiet, the water was perfect, the pool was cleaned daily, the kitchen was fully equipped. Important: it had spices, tea, sugar, and coffee.

Reviewer Comments: We LOVED our stay at Menehune Shores, LOVED the ocean views, we ate on the balconey for every meal, hung out on the balconey at night listening to the waves, the lagoon was great for floating, soaking up the beautiful sunshine, and perfect for little ones because it is protected from the waves. Sea turtles galore sleeping on the rocks and swimming by you. You can also walk past the lagoon to Kalepolepo Beach and enjoy waves, we left skim board for others to enjoy. Beach chairs/umbrella provided. Condo was furnished appropriately, clean and in great location! Memories made, we miss it already!

In January, we watched whales- bring binoculars- and sunsets daily. The condo was clean, kitchen well equipped-although appliances are aging- and air conditioning worked great. Having beach gear was a plus. After a hard rain, the road to the condo in one direction was closed for 2 days. That rain also caused a water supply issue that affected an large area and property management kept us informed of events and timeline. We would stay here again.

Centrally located and within 15-30 minutes of most tourist destinations. The four beach chairs and umbrella were an added benefit to use on Maui's beaches. Manager was very responsive to needs via text. Would definitely stay here again.

Property was just as described. Clean and comfortable. Right on a fish pond and filled with green sea turtles for daily viewing. Bonus was an out of sight Indian restaurant on site.
