A-515 is the best. Just fantastic location and awesome views of the pool, ocean, palms in the tropical oasis of Maui Sunset. Premium renovations top off the experience, although you'll spend most of your time out on the private view deck.

The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18 hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60 foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

The location is easy to/from the airport and great for access to the south beaches. The property is beautifully maintained. The pool and grassy area between the buildings offer a place for kids to play and families to gather. Many of the other guests are repeat visitors and owners so it’s a very friendly vibe. It’s quiet at night . You can enjoy your mornings on a spacious patio watching the sun come up and listen to the birds singing..Our unit had everything you need and you can’t hear your neighbors unless you’re on your patio. It was neat and clean. Parking was easy, as was checking in and out. All instructions were clear and simple. We’ll be back!

I come to the Maui Sunset just about every year, and never came across this and 6 of the other units our family was at all had. All we got was salt and pepper, not even soy sauce.

Reviewer Comments: Unit 515A was spotlessly clean upon arrival and came equipped with everything one could need for a beachfront experience, including boogie boards and beach chairs, and other water toys. The giant pool is absolutely sparkling and the grounds are immaculately maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked. No spices or olive oils, or basic condiments however so make sure you plan for that. My only complaint is that the air conditioning unit in our bedroom was ridiculously loud. It would be great if mini splits were installed for more noise free climate control.

Always bldg A and unit 516 or 515 this last stay. Condo this time was tired and not very clean. Stains on drapery, tired and worn furniture & mirror moldings missing. Sadly not nearly as condo clean as before. No maid service even though we stayed 2 weeks. Guest areas need attention. Pool area perfect and always well kept. Too bad the condo itself was tired and not clean. Well not return.

My great grand children loved the pool and the little beach area, as did the adults. Our units very clean. comfortable and for most part well stocked. Beautiful views and very quiet at night. The booking agents were very helpful as this trip was supposed to happen last year, but had to be cancelled for health reasons. They were most gracious about making the change. i look forward to another stay at Maui Sunset sometime.

We also enjoyed the free rental of shuffleboard equipment from the pool desk. Loved waking up early and listening to the birds, enjoying my coffee on the lanai, taking in the view of Haleakala Crater to one side and the ocean on the other. Tenants were respectful and not noisy. I was very impressed with the cleaning staff and how well they kept the grounds looking clean and beautiful as well as cleaning the pool, jacuzzi, pool deck and chairs every morning. I look forward to staying there again on my next trip! Mahalo! :)
We loved the gorgeous view of the ocean and it was so convenient to have the 2 bathrooms. The size was perfect. We would definitely recommend!
