There is a stretch of South Maui's coastline that feels like it was made for moments of pure stillness. Unit 409 at the Royal Mauian sits right in the heart of it.
Perched on the fourth floor between the beloved white sand shores of Kamaole I and Kamaole II, this newly remodeled one bedroom, one bathroom sanctuary has been designed with intention and care. From the moment you step inside, the ocean is right there, filling the room with light, color, and the kind of calm that only Maui can offer.
The California King bed in the primary bedroom is as comfortable as it looks, and the sliding doors that open directly onto the lanai mean your first breath of morning air comes with an unobstructed view of the Pacific. A ceiling fan and split AC keep the room perfectly cool, while the beautifully updated private bathroom features granite countertops, a glass door shower, and elegant tile finishes that feel more boutique hotel than vacation rental.
The living space flows openly from the fully equipped kitchen through to the lanai, filled with custom high end furniture and a plush sofa that doubles as a queen pull out bed. Split AC in the living area keeps things comfortable no matter the time of day. The kitchen is bright and modern with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and tile floors, fully stocked with a cooking range and oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, and everything you need whether you are whipping up a simple breakfast or trying something new for dinner. An in unit washer and dryer means you can pack light and live easy throughout your stay.
When you are ready to explore beyond your lanai, the Royal Mauian has more to offer. Browse the library on the second floor for your next great read, then head up to the rooftop garden where the BBQ grills and sweeping panoramic ocean views make every evening feel like a celebration. Beach chairs, beach towels, a cooler, and an umbrella are all waiting for you, because the beach is just steps away with Kamaole I and II on either side.
You are right in the heart of Kihei, with local restaurants, cafes, shops, and a grocery store all within easy walking distance, so your days can unfold exactly as you please.
To honor the aloha spirit for all guests and residents at the Royal Mauian, we kindly ask that occupancy remain at a maximum of 4 people at all times, including adults, children, infants, and overnight visitors. The property is smoke free, one parking space is included, and exterior cameras are in place throughout the common areas for everyone's comfort and security.

Beautiful view
Amazing condo!!!! We have been coming to Maui for years and this might be one of our favorite condos. Can’t beat the location and ocean views. The only tiny complaint is regarding utensils and cooking gadgets. We usually eat at least once in so we ran out of clean utensils fast and couldn’t find a cooking spatula! But otherwise SUPERB stay! Shoot out to Katie (I think that is her name) for being a voice of reason. We were thinking on canceling the vacation and she changed her mind. We had barely any rain! Can’t wait to be back!
Great Condo with the perfect lanai overlooking the ocean . We had bad weather but we enjoyed staying on the lanai reading books and do some whale watching We will definitely come back

Absolutely stunning sunset views from the patio. Perfect Maui location steps from the beach, snorkeling, and multiple restaurants within walking distant. The condo is very comfortable and all essentials were provided. Highly recommend for an amazing Hawaiian vacation experience.

We enjoyed this rental—its view and location between two beaches can’t be beat. If you see a cluster of whale watching boats, get out your binoculars and you’ll see what they are looking at.Just a couple things that bugged me. The stainless steel fridge could use a polish between guests. Also I was a little creeped out by somebody else’s ice and water in the fridge. I think most rentals have each new guest “start fresh”. Also, prospective renters should know the bed is VERY high! I’m 5’7 and it was level with my hipbone requiring some interesting gymnastics to get in. My husband has limited mobility and needed to use the small step stool we found in the closet to get in and out. This added an element of risk we would rather not have during vacation!The host was communicative and very helpful with quick responses to questions.
This was a perfect spot to relax and enjoy Maui. We have the best view we could have asked for and everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

This condo is wonderful, it's the perfect location between Kamaole 1&2, with nothing but ocean view out your window! The kitchen is well stocked and the washer/dryer is very convenient. There are beach chairs, coolers, and an umbrella. We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the sunset and the whales. The AC units work well and are very quiet. We spent three weeks here in January 2024,we will be back!
Perfect location for spending all day on the water, in the water, or just watching the water. The balcony is perfect for watching the turtles play in the water in front of the condo during the day and the beautiful sunsets in the evening. The condo is beautiful, comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable vacation. We can’t wait to come back.
It was perfect from the start! Easy to find after a long flight and it was just as advertised! Super clean, perfect sunset pictures off balcony, air conditioning in bedroom AND living room, meticulous grounds and the beach is right next to the condo! This property was everything we could have wanted! Oh, and did I mention that it was quiet EVERY night, which made for a good night’s rest!
Beautiful location. Endless views of the ocean. Large turtles swim to the shore every evening. Condo was clean and functional. Would definitely book again.
Really nice unit, in the perfect location, right on one of the best swimming beaches in Maui, perfect for a couple looking to escape together for a week or two. HIGHLY recommend!!
