Everything was in good working condition, kitchen was fully stocked. Beautiful huge patio with a view of the ocean. Lots of sleeping space.

Excellent location, owner

Really great condo, very spacious especially compared to the jormal sozed condos. There was ample room for everyone and loved the 2 bathrooms for our party of 6. Comfortable beds, nice view of the ocean feom the lanai and just a quick 2-3 minute walk to the beach.

Great location. Clean facilities. Pool and grilling areas were also excellent. Thank you tonthe hosts for a great value VRBO experience.

nice place to stay in Maui

Love the property, very enjoyable, first vacation in a long time, loved all of it.

We are a family with 5 teenagers and Kamaole Sands had everything we needed for our perfect family getaway. Condo had all the essentials we needed, nothing lacking and easy access to the beach was perfect. Sussanne is a responsive host, happy to help or answer questions. Looking forward to our next stay there in the future!

Underneath the sofa bed there were a bunch of candy wrappers from prior guests

Sussanne was very accommodating with our requests as we were traveling with kids, the property was walkable distance from the beach and food places. Kids had a great time in the community pool too. Property had extra bedding, books to read and games to play. Overall our stay was wonderful and we had a great time in Maui.

Sleeps a lot of people for the price. If you have little kids you could probably sleep 10 easily

We stayed here with our two children, their spouses and 7 month old grandson. The space was a good size, very comfortable and well equipped. The lanai is great because we could all sit out there and it was always in shade. The owners were very responsive to questions.

Fun week

This condo was just as described and in a very ideal location. We loved how quick it was to walk to the beach. The condo was clean and everything was in working order. The view from the lanai to the ocean is a fantastic bonus. There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows. The instructions posted on the walls around the condo are easy to follow and checkout instructions are what you’d expect from a VRBO. There were plenty of beach towels and beach chairs to use. Check in was mostly easy. There was a teeny bit of confusion because one email said to get the door code from the reception desk. A different email actually had the door code in it. Once I dug back into the emails, I figured it out pretty fast. So just know that the door code will come in a separate email. There was a ton of construction on the roof of the condo so taking a nap during the day was impossible as men were stomping around above the ceiling all during working hours.This may only be a problem for the occupants that come during the next couple of weeks after us. But it’s totally manageable and the stomping stops around 4 or 5. We had access to a broom and a vacuum which I loved, but wished we also could have had access to an antibacterial surface cleaner for the counters, some windex for all of the glass tabletops so we could keep them clean during our stay and a bigger size of shampoo and conditioner to last the length of our stay. A favorite vacation for sure!

Very comfortable condo in an excellent location. Walkable to the beach and to the pool/gym in the condo complex. Lots of room to spread out. It is a bit dated, but lovely nonetheless for our family.

Property includes everything you need for your stay in Maui. Coolers, beach gear, kitchen gear, and an amazing view from the Lanai! My family really loved this place and I would recommend this place for a stay in Maui!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had read enough reviews from others to have a good idea what to expect. This is not a luxury condo. No frills, but comfortable. The air conditioning had to work hard to keep us semi-cool. Being the top unit of a three story building, this condo gets hot without the air conditioning running. We honored the owner's request to not run the a/c when we weren't in the condo. But it took an hour or two to cool down when we returned each evening. There were some thoughtful amenities. We really appreciated the beach umbrellas, small cooler, and 7 beach chairs that were housed on the patio. They even had a set of utensils that could be used for picnics. The kitchen was tiny (only one person can really be in there cooking at a time). But, the dining room and table were quite large. All the appliances in the kitchen worked well. It is not right on the beach. But, the view from the patio was still beautiful. We couldn't see the sandy beach of Kamaole Beach Park directly, but the view from the patio was still stunning at sunset with a view of the ocean, the West Maui mountain and Lanai in the distance. The condo is outdated. But we did't mind that at all. We felt right at home. The upstairs loft's bathroom fan is quite loud and cuts out after running for more than a few minutes. We didn't turn the tv's on (we would much prefer to be out exploring paradise!). This wasn't a 5 star hotel, but it was perfect for our cheap family of 6.

We enjoyed every second of our stay. We loved the location and the view from the lanai was stunning. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, a fine stay. Things to be aware of: only 2 bedrooms, so the additional 4 potential people on a listing are on a pull out couch and 2 foam pads. The AC unit in the living room (where the pull out couch is) has a timer - seemed about 5 hours max at a time. So if you sleep with AC, you’ll wake up hot around 5 hours later. I woke up every night between 3-4am to turn the timer back on. Also, the 2nd bedroom is a loft, where noise very clearly and easily travels, really it's like one giant room (living room and loft combined). The beach supplies were great and we enjoyed the location close to the beach!

It had all that we could expect and was a wonderful place to stay!

We had a great stay here for a week. We had a slight issue getting the door code to work but the after-hours call line was immediately responsive and had the issue fixed in minutes. The condo is well-stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. Everything is well labeled and there’s lots of extra linens. The only other issue was running out of toilet paper - they didn’t leave enough for the 6 people the condo sleeps. It’s great to have the beach just down the road. Overall a great experience!

This is a fantastic property. Great views. Beautiful grounds. Loved it.

My family and I had a great and wonderful stay! The check in could have been a bit more receptive when requesting access 30 minutes prior to the 4PM class in however that was just a minor inconvenience. The place was well stocked! I was pleasantly surprised with three kitchen having the basics that included sets of dinnerware, pots pans all the gadgets asking with plenty of dish soap and washing detergent along with fabric softener sheets. I totally appreciated the basic spices available along with foiil, wax and plastic paper rolls. The fridge was clean and lots of ice. The rooms were comfortable and had ceiling fans and stand alone fans which was awesome! I especially love that there was plenty of towels sheets and blankets for use and change of linens throughout our week stay. Plenty of ice coolers, beach chairs and umbrellas to use while we stayed and were able to take to the beach which was literally 5 minutes away. Grocery stores were within 5 minutes and local ABC store located at the nearby Texaco was a goldmine. I would 💯 percent stay here again. Oh I totally forgot to mention the pool was clean safe and perfect to just unwind after a long day!

The unit was very clean, across the road from Kamole Beach III - great beach for relaxing. Close to restaurants, grocery stores and easy access from the airport. Would definitely recommend this unit.

The online listing was accurate! We had a multi-generational group and going into the stay, knew what to expect with the lay-out of the rooms. We appreciated the labeling of light switches and the notes to remind us “at a glance” of key requests related to items such as trash and dishes. During our brief stay, we had two issues (WiFi and the washing machine). The property management was very responsive and resolved both items quickly.

The trip was very nice and we liked the condo. The shower door in the downstairs bathroom was not on the tracks so it did not open and close well. The sink in the downstairs bathroom drains extremely slow and should be cleaned out. There were small coolers that prior guests had left water in and there was mold inside them that we had to clean out. The cots are pieces of foam that lay on the floor. Overall, we had a nice time and enjoyed the space.

Combination door lock made it easier for multiple people open the door.

Great location, lots of space for 2 people and each having their own bathroom is a huge bonus. Air conditioner upstairs and downstairs as well as tv’s on each level. Overall just a great place
