Fully appointed with high quality bedding, stainless appliances, granite and quartz counters , washer/dryer in unit and amenities including a lanai closet full of beach gear - sand chairs, boogies boards, beach towels etc. All the things you'll want to enjoy the beaches but you won't have to pack, buy or rent.
Talk about location! South Kihei is the place you want to be - the BEST SWIMMABLE BEACHES with LIFEGUARDS! Grassy parks with restrooms and WALKABLE to many eateries and shops. South Kihei is centrally located on island - about a 20 min drive from the airport and the perfect place for your home base while visiting here. You're in the heart of everything! South Kihei is the suniest part of Maui.
Kamaole Sands is a premiere condotel resort with over 15 acres of lush landscaping, tennis and pickleball courts, huge pool and kiddie pool plus two Jacuzzis (adult and family). There is a gym, rec area and large gas grilling stations throughout the grounds with prep and seating areas. Our front office offers computers for your use and Free Wifi. Parking is always FREE and assigned when you stay with us. The grounds are gorgeous with fountains, waterfalls and meandering paths to stroll.
The most requested building in this resort is Building 10 -closest to the ocean - which is where you will find both of our condos. Ocean Views from our extra large lanai make this a favorite feature of this condo. You can sit here and watch the whales breech during whale season and always the perfect place for those amazing Maui sunsets.
This condo is a favorite for Honeymooners but can also sleep up to 4 with a Queen Murphy bed in the living room and 2 bathrooms. We get wonderful trade winds that naturally cool and refresh but rest assured on hot balmy days there is Split AC in both the living and bedroom for your comfort. You rarely will need it but its nice to know its there if you do!
We sit directly across the road from Kamaole Beach III - one of the best beaches on Maui. It literally is a 3 minute walk from our front door to the oceans edge! Imagine how convenient it is to be so close when its time for lunch!
We encourage guests to rent a car because the island of Maui is so diverse and the best way to see and explore it is by having your own transportation but if you chose not to rent a vehicle no worries - public transportation stops in front of the property and there is plenty of amenities close enough that a car isn't essential.
Lets talk beaches! South Kihei is known for the quality of its beaches and the amount of them. There are 4 beaches with in walking distance and 3 of the 4 have parks and lifeguards. Because water conditions constantly change, lifeguards are a big deal. Kamaole III is a perfect beach to play, swim, snorkel and boogie board. You will also see local Honu (sea turtles). Everyday at sunset the park there gathers with people to watch the sunsets - a great place to socialize and meet new friends!
Why do people love South Kihei? First location - it is centrally located on island so it's the perfect starting point for all your Maui adventures. Beaches - the most and best swimmable beaches on Maui with parks and lifeguards. It the warmest and driest part of the island which means more sunny days!
NO HIGH RISES - Kihei is low density - no building is over 6 stories and most are less than that. You will find more condos than hotels - so Kihei is more family friendly and AFFORDABLE. Kihei is also a mix of locals and visitors - a chance for you to mingle and truly feel like an islander. Kihei is laid back and low key - less touristy than the West Side.
Finally, the devastating wildfires did not touch Kihei - it is as beautiful as ever and you are not taking housing away from any fire victims. You will be welcome here.

Great location just across the street from the beach. Loved sitting on patio overlooking courtyard with ocean in the background. The place was roomy, very comfortable and had everything we needed (coffee pot, beach towels, etc) Loved having a washer/dryer in unit. Would gladly stay here again. Easy walk to shops and dining down the road.
VRBO fees are to high!
The kamaole sands is ideally located and the condo is in the best building (#10). Centrally located with access to the beach and water views from the lanai. We truly enjoyed ourselves in every aspect. Bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well supplied. Grounds are great for kids but also quiet for the adults.
Kamaole Sands is the best condominium resort in South Maui, and this is one of the nicest units in Kam Sands. Building 10 is one of the most desirable buildings, and unit 207 has an excellent location in that building. The unit has every thing needed for an enjoyable vacation, and the decor is unexpectdly fine.
Sandi was very nice to us during our stay. She is very accommodating to her guests. The unit is across the street from the beach. Thank you Sandi!
This unit in building 10 was exactly as advertised and absolutely perfect for our stay. The deck was awesome and one of the larger ones ( the small ones are very tiny!).the place was well equipped with everything we needed - kitchen -linens and beach towels etc. There were lots of fans everywhere which kept the unit nice and cool . There was a portable a/c in the bedroom but we found we didn’t need it.We’ve stayed at Kamaole Sands several times and it never disappoints. The grounds and pool are always in great shape and you can’t beat the location . We would definately rent this unit again .

Needs a thorough cleaning. Lots of dust. Could use some upgrades. Overall a good place in a decent location. The sand is amazing at the beach. I'd say its a bit pricey but not a rip off. Good for a small family looking for lots of nearby amentities. Very nice of them to offer a discount at the foodland grocery store.
Loved the location and the condo decor was spot on for Hawaii! The lanai was large, the bed was comfy and it was quiet at night. Would definitely book again!
Very happy with this condo. Nicely appointed with all we needed for a very comfortable stay! Easy access to highway for sightseeing trips. Walking distance of shops & restaurants. Would stay here again!
