Kamaole Sands Resort is conveniently located in Kihei, Maui, across South Kihei Rd. from the Kamaole Beach parks. The South Kihei beach parks are an amazing spot to enjoy the ocean and watch amazing Maui sunsets. Kihei boat ramp is just down the street where you can find the best Maui boat excursions including Molokini snorkel trips or fishing charters. You can't beat this convenient location, just a few minutes from all the Kihei shopping and restaurants and also a few minutes from the luxury of Wailea Resort area and the famous Shops at Wailea.

We had a great stay.
Great stay at Kamaole Sands again. Condo had good air conditioning when needed. Property management was very responsive.
It was better than I expected. I had an ocean view, I was close to the beach, shopping , and so much more. The condo was clean and equipped with everything we needed for a 10 day stay.
Spacious, updated, clean and close to beaches and restaurants
Property has been updated in the main living area, bathrooms were ok, just older. AC was good throughout and great location. Check to see if construction is completed, that was a real downside banging on the roof for hours
The space was ideal for our family to relax, adventure, and make life-long memories! Great responsiveness from property managers. This is a perfect place to enjoy Maui!
The unit was a good size and fit our family of 5 well. The kitchen was well stocked and had the essentials needed to "eat from home". The grounds were nice and the staff was friendly. There is major construction going on in the complex, so machinery and people were present. The photos are a bit deceiving, the unit has been remodeled but it doesn't seem like it was recently, as finishes and surfaces are very well used and dirty/broken. The unit wasn't very clean in general- we removed our shoes when we arrived, as asked, and soon after discovered that our feet were black with dirt- there was also hair in the shower and all over the floor of the loft, there were things left under the beds. The furniture was stained and dirty looking. This was discouraging given the large cleaning deposit we paid. The location of the complex is great, easy walking to attractions in Kihei- and easy beach access. The condo is located at the back of the complex, with the deck overlooking a street (there is an ocean view in the distance which is nice). This street had several camper vans and cars using it has a place to camp/live. Most of the time it was quiet but we did see a few interactions that made us uncomfortable and the police were there once talking to campers.
