Lovely Appointed Studio With Ocean & Mountain Views - Location, Best In Kihei

Barb’s place was lovely! Perfect for 2 people. Clean and comfy, with an ocean view from your bed! Convenient location; food, shops, the beach all walking distance. Barb was incredibly helpful and accommodating when our flight home was canceled last minute, which really eased our stress. Mahalo, Barb!

This room worked well for our 4 night stay. It’s a nice location with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. It’s nice having the beach right across the street. The welcome basket was a nice touch. We had a late night issue with the door keypad locking us out, but the owner was quick to respond and called out a locksmith that night.

Over all the property was great, had decent views, and good location. The condo was clean and adequately sized. The pool area was nice although the pool closest to us had quite a few kids that really like hanging around in the hot tub. The biggest problem was the elevator was out, and it will be for a bit yet so if you see this and have yet to go, ask for a discount. The condo is on the top floor (5) which is a big deal! It took its toll on my ankle and my lady's knee. The lenai is narrow and has an air conditioner that take a lot of enjoyment out of it but had good views of the ocean and Haleakala. And the air conditioner is in the worst location as far as performance (on the floor) which makes it cycle on and off constantly, it triggered me as I know how much energy that consumes and lowers the performance. The tv has just basic channels and I couldn't connect through the smart hub no matter what I tried. If you have a Firestick or similar, bring it! Overall it was a very good experience!

Maui Banyan is a wonderful complex to be at and we try to stay there every time we go to Maui. The studio apartment was nice and clean with a comfortable bed and a nice selection of island favourite snacks provided by the owner. There were a few minor issues as the front door and lanai sliding door were very difficult to open some times. As well the small fridge/freezer did not seem to keep things cold or frozen very well. As well the toaster oven was appreciated but the heating element didn't seem to work very well as we couldn't get it to toast bread.But overall these were relatively minor issues that did not take away from the time we spent in the unit.

The room was spotless and the kitchen was stocked with every imaginable item. The welcome ‘package’ was a surprise and appreciated. The view of the ocean and mountains was lovely to see from our balcony.

Excellent location right across from Kam II. Space is as described. Nice to have beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and parking. Need to walk up/down stairs for parking. Wall unit a/c is a bit noisy but does the job. Also some noise from pool but quiet hours from 9pm on. Tiny little ants in unit. Well stocked unit and nice extras like snacks, drinks and paper towels. Overall enjoyed our stay and would book again.

We enjoyed our stay at Barb's place. The location was in a walkable area, close to beaches, and parking was easy. The beach chairs and umbrella were great. The room itself reflects the photos, and is akin to a 3 star hotel.

We loved the studio, the location was perfect, super close to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped. The communication with the host was excelentes. We definetely would respeat this stay.

Perfect size room for a couple. Nice amenities including Kona coffee and some small treats to hold you until you get to a store. Also loved having beach chairs and towels provided. The balcony was tiny, but it was nice to have access to the outside and there was an ocean view from there. Owner was quick to respond. Would come back!

Great place- very clean. Comfy bed. No laundry in the studio rental - though there are beach chairs etc Great location & very close to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. Very clean. Supplied nicely. All the size we really needed (studio). The neighbors in the attached room were loud at times. The kitchen sink also being the bathroom sink felt different. Clearly is a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. AC struggled to keep up. Very nice pool and wonderfully close to the beach. Safe area!

I enjoyed the pool/ hot tub

My husband and I stayed 9 nights, and it was wonderful. The California king bed was super comfy, and we loved watching the sunset from the lanai. The proximity to the beach and pool were ideal. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The beach chairs, towels, tennis rackets and balls (thanks Barb!) and other beach items were greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much Barb, for creating a "home away from home" for those of us who love Hawaii.

This property was in a gorgeous spot in Kiheh. Super close to the beach. Everything you need in walking distance! Beautiful trees and greenery. Perfect little studio apartment. Can't wait to return to Maui!

Amazing views, sunrise and sunset from lanai Great location, walk to beach and restaurants

My wife and I spent 8 nights in the studio. It was nicely furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. The location in the south end of Kihei was perfect for us, since we like to visit different beaches in Wailea and Makena. Most importantly the property manager was very responsive and a good communicator.

Gorgeous resort, with all you need on site. Studio suite has all that we needed for our beach excursions. Nice view of the ocean and mountain from the lanai. Will definitely stay again!

Cute small studio. No washer and dryer so no clean towels after a couple days was an issue for us. Also lani is not big enough to sit out on and enjoy ocean and sunsets. Great for price though

The unit was in a great location and very clean with nice touches with the welcoming gift and equipped kitchen area. Barbara was very accommodating with working around date changes due to service commitments and great to have finally gotten to have time back on Maui!

Perfect, great location close to everything. everything provided for a great stay and adventures to the beach, snorkel, boogie boards, etc. great view of the mountains and of the beach also overlooking the pool. All the amenities that you could ask for.

We loved our stay here. It was a great location for exploring the south side of the island. Our studio was clean and the bed was comfy. We had everything we needed (although we did not use much as we weren't in the room much). Having the beach chairs was an added bonus, as well as the welcome basket was a very nice touch! We enjoyed having our bfast on the lanai with the pool and ocean view. The host was responsive. The place was a good deal (as far as maui prices go). Would definitely stay here again if back in Maui!

This was the perfect spot for me to stay by myself I felt safe and secure and the property is beautifully landscaped and the Staff are very nice🌺I recommend it!

The property is in an excellent location, within easy walking distance to the beach and shops. The view from the lanai is great, although the lanai itself is quite small. There was plenty of beach items available for use and the welcome basket was lovely. I was a bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower looked as though it hadn't been properly cleaned and had a significant buildup of soap scum on the shower doors. Overall, the Maui Banyan and grounds were well maintained.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was accurately advertised. One thing I missed when booking was laundry facilities. There is no washer or dryer in the suite but the property manager offered to do our laundry mid-week or we could use a laundry mat nearby. We ended up finding alternate arrangements. Loved the cozy Lana’i. Every morning we would sit out there and have our coffee and watch the whales. Parking was tricky if we got in late at night but we were fine 99% of the time. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend ear plugs or sound machine. The pool area can be quite loud. I had brought ear plugs so it was not an issue. It was lovely to have the beach chairs and beach towels to use. I would suggest having a few more white towels for showers for the week. The welcome gift upon arrival was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again!

A great studio unit with a great view. Though this is a studio, it has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Even without full size kitchen, it has everything you need to make every meal of the day if you are wanting to. Ample supplies were included as well as a vacuum to keep the inevitable sand under control. Everything you need to make and take a lunch to the beach or do a full BBQ at the pool. Chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and beach towel and mats all there for use. I could go on and on about everything that was good. Would definatly recommend to anyone that doesn’t need a huge suite.

The room was nice but the walls are very thin and I am not a good sleeper with noise but the host was very helpful and contacted the neighbors and asked them to be quiet as they own that unit as well I think. There are lovely views from the condo and for one or two people it's fine size-wise it's not good for more than that cuz it's tiny the kitchen is well stocked even though it's not a full kitchen I took my airfryer because all I eat is meat and that made it very easy. The cleanliness was better than expected because I'm a professional housekeeper and I am very difficult to please. The pool area is very well maintained as is the landscaping the parking situation is a pain in the ass but you can usually find a place to park although you may need to walk a block to get to your building all in all it was a nice place and Maui is always wonderful

So amazing & comfortable & they left an aloha gift snack & beach supplies like chairs & Floaties for us when we arrived, entering and exiting was a breeze. We loved the view and the bed was comfy.

This unit is a gem! Barb provided everything we needed for our trip. The bed was comfy, the fridge and microwave was a lifesaver, and the beach chairs and towels were awesome to have. Can’t wait to go back!

Television cable not working. Called manager who responded next day. Found out ourselves that only Netflix is working after finding out that battery remote is old and needs to change.
